Cottage was appropriate for a couple with one child. Very clean and the pool was lovely. Hostess Maria was very accommodating and helpful. You can walk from there to the ocean promenade but it’s a car ride to the historic section. Nice restaurants within walking.

Vi fick ett eget litet hus med varsitt sovrum, som passade mig och min 18-åriga son. Rent och snyggt och det fanns allt som vi behövde i köksgeråd. Vi hade egen trädgård med avocadoträd och tillgång till poolen. Lugnt och skönt men ändå nära till allt. Rekommenderar detta boende varmt.

Wir haben 10 wundervolle Tage bei Maria und Katze Mia verbracht. Die Unterkunft und die Lage ist top. Zu Fuß sind es nur ca.10 min. ins Zentrum. Marie war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte uns auch nützliche Tipps geben. Sehr zu empfehlen

We enjoyed our stay with Maria and her family very much. We stayed for two weeks with a toddler. Maria even prepared the bed for our daughter so that she could fall out. The little cottage has everything what you need for a vacation. If it's raining you can sit on the patio and still enjoy being outside. Also in the kitchen we did not miss anything for cooking. The pool has a nice size and was nicely tempered and clean. The location is also great. Within 10-15 minutes walking you are in the city center. We took a hiking backpack for our daughter as we also did some hikes. We did not miss a stroller at all and we actually happy not to have one as the pavements are very small. Our daughter enjoyed her stay also very much. Within a day she felt comfortable and moved as being at home.

You can drive to any of the sights in less than an hour and enjoy the convenience of staying in a larger city. But at this little cottage you’d think you were in paradise with the avocado, banana and other fruit trees and beautiful flowers and gardens all around you and the pool! The hosts thought of everything and the fresh fruit and homemade preserves were very welcome after travelling. We look forward to going again.

We are very satisfied with everything about our stay in this small house. It’s situated in a private part of a beautiful garden and was perfect for our family of 4. The host Maria is super friendly and welcomed us with bread, fruit and home made jam after our long trip. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and sitting outside on the veranda after an active day, often accompanied by the very social house cat Mia. There’s free parking on the street and walking distance to a super market, bakery and to the city centre. The lush garden is full of different kinds of palm trees, hibiscus, avocado trees and there’s also an orchard with bananas and an herbal garden. I can strongly recommend Maria’s house. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful rental! Absolutely immaculate and well equipped. The property and pool were exceptional and beautiful. Easy access to the island from this spot. Easy to walk to some locations in the city and an easy drive to others. Parking was never an issue in the city which made it easy when we did chose to drive in. We have rented many times while traveling so no what to expect. This home was better than the average rental.

The home we stayed in was quaint and felt lush and tropical. You can tell she cares about making her property beautiful with all of the plants. Maria has a cat, Mia, who joined us every morning as we ate breakfast on the front porch. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did find ourselves running out of paper towels and toilet paper come check out. My only issue was that I had a difficult time communicating prior to check in. I had a street address but no house number or details on how to check in which made me feel a little anxious with poor internet access. I’m not sure if I missed something on the website about check in, but wished the communication had been a bit better. Besides this, the stay was wonderful and was a convenient location in Ponta Delgada. I absolutely recommend this property for your trip to the Azores!

Tranquilo, discreto e privativo. Óptimo para casais no máximo com um filho. Recepção agradável e eficaz. O bairro é relativamente perto do centro mas para deslocações recomendo ir de carro.

The host Maria was really friendly, welcoming and keen for her guests to enjoy their stay. Maria left us goodies to eat for our first day, there is an avocado tree outside the door which you are welcome to eat after they are ripe. The pool is shared with only one other holiday let. We walked around the beautiful gardens with Maria, she told us about all of the plants she has, it was great to see coffee bean plants and pineapples growing. The Apartment was clean and well equipped there is a kettle, toaster, fridge, hob, pans plates cutlery. Iron and ironing board and a small hairdryer. Maria supplies towels for the Apartment and the pool. Maria even supplies umbrellas which you will need at some point during your stay. The Casa Das Clivias is about 20 minutes walk from the sea front, we always felt safe whilst in the area, and local people were friendly. Go check out the market for fresh fruit from the Island.

The accommodation is secluded with its own small garden of exotic plants leading to a lovely pool in the bigger garden with more plants around the property. We had a lovely welcome from the owner - Maria Antonia - who had prepared everything we might need, and gave us information about the city and the island. We explored Ponta Delgada and the rest of the island and enjoyed our stay.

L'endroit est Magique, un petit chalet en bois très confortable à l'ombre des avocatiers, des bougainvilliers entouré de bananiers, palmiers et de nombreux arbustes à fruits. Il vous faut 5 mns à pied pour vous retrouver au bord du port, au marché ou au centre ville. Maria la maîtresse de maison est absolument charmante, elle veille à ce que vous ne manquiez de rien et vous donne de bonnes adresses. Un petit paradis au coeur de Ponta Delgada. Very nice place to stay. Wonderful garden with a nice swimming pool. You have you're own bungalow with everything you need. The only downside is the distance to the city centre which is 10-15 minutes walking.

Desde que llegamos a la casa hubo uno tras otro detalle por parte de la dueña Maria Antonia, una mujer excepcional en todos los aspectos (nos cuidó como una madre!) Proporcionandonos un mapa de la isla con sitios y restaurantes de interes, toallas para las excursiones y la casa al mas minimo detalle, a parte de ser un finca perfecta. Esperamos volver pronto. "Casa das Clivias" es un lugar ideal para unas vacaciones en San Miguel. Está muy bien situada, dentro de la ciudad pero en un entorno natural tranquilo y agradable.Es una casita ideal para dos o pareja con niño, equipada hasta el mínimo detalle, con un pequeño porche en un jardín privado repleto de plantas. El aparcamiento es abundante en la calle, y los accesos a la ciudad muy rápidos, mejor que desde el centro de la ciudad. Es muy fácil llegar caminando a cualquier punto del centro (mercado, supermercados, puerto. Maria Antonia, la propietaria, cuidó de nosotros durante toda la estancia y se preocupó de todas nuestras necesidades, y tuvo muchos detalles con nosotros (mermeladas caseras y pan a la llegada, fruta fresca en la casa, nos ofreció tollas para ir a las zonas termales y el cambio de toallas en la casa fue más que suficiente para una semana,nos aconsejó sobre el alquiler de coche). La limpieza, un 10. Un lugar altamente recomendable para la estancia en San Miguel. "Casa das Clivias" is an ideal place for staying at San Miquel. Very well located, inside the city but in a quiet, peaceful nice scenery.It is the perfect little wooden house for a couple or a couple with a child, with very good equipment. It has a little porch in a private garden.Parking on the street is easy, and access outside the city is very quick, even better than from he city centre. Reaching any point of the city (market, harbour) is comfortable by foot. Maria Antonia, the owner, was really gentle with us,and took care of us during the holidays (we found fresh fruit, bread and homemade jam at the arrival, she helped us with the car rental, offered towels for swimming at the termals baths, give clean towels more than enough during the staying).Cleaning was excellent. Highly recommended for staying at San Miguel."
