Sebastian (the host) is a super nice guy and makes sure the guests feel comfortable at his place. The personal who works with him is friendly and hospitable. Daily housekeeping and daily bottled water refil makes the outstanding value in terms of the cost vs quality.

If you are coming by car you will be challenged to get in with the narrow driveway packed with motorbikes. Our windows were ovelooking the courtyard and at night it converts into a place where everyone has a chit-chat. Heated by the atmosphere of the Patong and the vapors of substances, they do not stop talking until 1-2am which made it quite hard for us to have a decent sleep a few times during our stay. Cutlery and dishes were not clean. Even though there was a kitchenette, we had to buy a knife to clean the fruits.

I recently stayed at the Villa Residence Hotel in Patong, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is perfect—close to everything yet far enough from the noise to provide a peaceful retreat. The facilities are exactly as depicted on the website, with a well-maintained swimming pool and a steam room. This family-owned business truly stands out due to its incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Nim and Natcha at the bar are both superstars, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Mam and Ning from housekeeping ensure the rooms are impeccably clean. Having visited Patong for years, I can confidently say that Villa Residence Hotel is by far my favorite place to stay. Highly recommended!
