could of done with some hangers in wordobe

Decor was lovely, comfy bed food in restaurant fabulous and authentic. Staff very attentive, obviously Family run. Try and get full sea view. No double glazing, but did gave good hearer and air con unit in the room. Large cobweb in window and Sky TV. Could smell wacky back in the corridors. Be mindful of having to pay for parking, numberplate recognition camera in car park behing Hotel who are trying to buy it . Current owner does charge alot, but it is the cheapest in Clacton. Pleasant little place. Also hotel has discounts in beauty bar and restaurant to guests.

Could have been cleaner a few stains on the carpet, cobwebs if you look for them, bathroom a little small, but functional

Atmosphere, and decore

Shower ,mixer wasn't working, too hot ,and restaurant service very slow and got orders wrong, staff not experienced enough

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was included and was good. Our room was facing directly towards the club across the street and it was very loud all the time, we couldn't managed to sleep properly. Shower was great. The bed was a bit small and not so comfortable.

they took my money!

no sofa to sit on it had been removed - we came to crochet on the sofa watching tv! the spa bubbles in the bath didn't work the blinds wouldn't close 2 of them, bathing was dodgy and the light in the morning was very bright. television was blipping and we called for help couldn't watch tv all evening. looked for the coffee maker...never was found! ....premium room meant coffee maker as the kettle was stated differently. also advised to watch out the the kettle as it over fills the cups and spirits out... no where to sit and blow dry hair.....where is the mirror to complete this task. no robes no slippers balcony not accessible as it has steps for a disabled person so after no tv and missing items it was decided we can change room to at least have a sofa to sit on the following evening and also has no extra steps leading to it. this room full filled our requests almost...after packing up and un packing again balcony still not accessible coffee machine still not there still struggling in and out of the building....unaware of the back door access. came with an abundance of noise from the pub/club below until 1am. if the doors were draft/noise free this may have helped keep noise out. i blind not working which spoilt our sea view. bath robes - didnt fit and felt not very soft at all

beautiful decor clean

couldn’t sit on toilet properly in our room due to sink position but a minor detail.

Room was stylish and spacious with good shower, effective air-conditioning/heating and a safe for valuables. There was a sea view (over the seafront attractions!) and a large balcony. Bed comfortable, a great night's sleep. The dinner was great, the breakfast very good. The staff were friendly and looked after us well.

One chair had some stains. There was a used coffee mug in the safe (!), and the safe had to be have the attention of the handy-man to make it work, although that was very efficient. The time of one breakfast was delayed without us being made aware.

I did book a room with a breakfast but at 9 o’clock no one was there to serve breakfast I tried to ring the tel number and no one answer the phone and we went without breakfast and payed for it and no refund was given
