The home was larger than expected. One of the chairs had mold on it, but outside of that the place was was clean and comfortable. The communication with the managment company was great. We had a great time fishing, and entertaining the family on the downstairs patio and billiard room. Great family home, lots of room and peaceful. Location of the home is awesome, next to the channel, making fishing great. overall our stay was excellent and we would recommend this home to stay in.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome left by the owners/property mgr. Very classy and sweet touches were all over. It was better than other homes we have visited. We enjoyed it and will stays again God willing.

Omg where do i start!!! We loved everything about the house. The beds are so soft an nice!!! My whole family had so much fun playing pool in the down stairs room!!! In all we had the best time!!! We will definitely be back next summer!!! Thank you

When we weren’t worrying about the smell in the downstairs, leak in the window, missing blanket, and lousy toilet paper we were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes from the standing pool of water under the stairs. Won’t be staying here again. The location on the island is good but I would prefer a place better maintained & less stingy with blankets & towels.

It was all decorated so cute! Kitchen had everything we needed. Bait shops and grocery was close by. We caught catfish, blue crab and another type of fish we couldn’t identify. Nice quiet neighbors. The home was clean and just as described. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and had all we needed to prepare our meals. More importantly, we were able to bring our dogs which is a must for our annual vacations. We never used the lower level so not able to share those details but there would be plenty of room for a larger group to spread out and enjoy themselves. The management company were excellent to work with and very responsive. The location was a short drive to the beach and convenient to tie up a boat. We only had dinner out once at Waterman's (five minutes away) and enjoyed the food & experience. My mother and 10 year old nephew visited the area downtown known as "The Strand". They thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of the Galveston pirates along with the shopping and food options.
Unfortunately for us, our plans came with unlucky timing (just two weeks after the 100 year ice storm). We had an issue with the neighbor to the right who yelled at us for tying up our boat on her fencepost (we assumed was a common fence shared by both homes). We were eventually able to calm them down resulting in a more friendly and cordial existence afterwards but it was a bit of a bummer to deal with during vacation. In their defense I think they were overwhelmed with pipe damage and took their frustrations out on us. Perhaps consider if slip not available for renters installing cleats for seawall tie up. The neighbors to the left (a young family with little kids and a swimming pool) were super friendly and nice. They provided us with places to visit and dine.
My husband is a professional fisherman and had hoped to fish but the ice storm and cold front made fishing a lesson in futility. Literally no one was out in the bay fishing and conversations with locals indicated a major fish kill occurred prior to our arrival. We also had a negative experience with Galveston Boat Rentals. We rented a boat for our two week stay but they provided an unsafe and inoperable boat which we returned an hour after delivery. We've had to 'fight' them for a refund, have received a partial refund with a promise of the rest but we are still waiting. We did rent a nice boat from Finney Boat Rentals after our bad experience and we highly recommend them.
The only suggestions I'd have would be to consider adding dressers (or shelves) to the two other bedrooms for clothing but definitely recommend the home for families or couples.

Seniors 2020
We took our daughter and her friends for their senior trip And they had a blast from fishing and crabbing in the canal to a short golf cart drive to the beach. Fun was had by all. We walked in and had a basket of toiletries unexpectedly waiting for us. I will suggest this spot to others.

A little piece of heaven
We booked our stay for 5 days and enjoyed it so much we ended up adding two more and staying an entire week. The house is super clean and well stocked as well as beautiful. The beds are super comfy and there was a ton of space to relax and enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Communication with the manager was excellent. The property upstairs was as described. Very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied except blender was broken. Downstairs good only for recreational use. Very musty despite 2 dehumidifiers going full blast. It is important to note that the downstairs is not connected to the upstairs which separated the family.

House was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. I have 3 comments. 1. The down stairs area was never at a comfortable temperature. 2. There were no towels for drying dishes. 3. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here this weekend. The house has EVERYTHING you need. Friendly neighbors, great communication with property management and great location. We will be returning!

Great bay house!!! We had a great time! Everything we needed was provided in the home. Awesome room downstairs for young kids/young adults. Perfect house to rent for a family gathering. Room for everyone!

Fun time!
We enjoyed our stay so much! This is a roomy and clean house with the most comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. We had plenty of room for us parents, 3 adult kids, Grandma and our well behaved dog. We played dominoes indoors during times of heavy rain. There is a short 15-20 minute commute to restaurants, the beach (very close!), grocery stores and Galveston attractions. We *almost* caught 1 crab in the canal with a crab trap on the premises, but enjoyed a seafood boil despite our lack of crabbing skills. Minor note, we have a daughter with mobility issues. The outdoor stairs were tricky for her, but not slippery in the rain. However there are two step-in showers, one downstairs (no interior staircase) off of the large sleeping quarters/rec room and one upstairs.

Family weekend
I brought my four adult children and their significant others. Lots of space for all. Loved the downstairs which we designated as “men’s quarters”. Girls got the two rooms upstairs. Weather wasn’t great but we did get out on the boat a bit and then filled in with lots of games. Great location.

WOW are we glad we did! Sea-Esta was absolutely perfect. The house is fully stocked with everything needed to cook inside or grill outside. Linens were very nice and the beds were all very comfortable. The younger adults all stayed in the downstairs room where they had plenty of room to sleep and also enjoy the pool table. As wonderful as the house itself is, we all enjoyed the downstairs patio and back yard. The sunset views each evening were spectacular! And it is fully fenced so our small dogs did not have to be leashed when outside. The palm trees not only add to the beauty but also provide shade throughout the day. And as an added bonus, we brought a small boat for crabbing/fishing and loved being able to use the boat slip at the house to store it in when not using it. Overall we had such a wonderful week and look forward to staying at Sea-Esta again and again.

Perfect house! Did not want to leave!
The house was very clean. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 6 teenagers. The master bedroom bed was SO comfortable!!! We enjoyed the pool table and fishing in the canal. When we got home I realized I forgot my valuable watch in the home. The people at the rental company went above and beyond to get it back to me!

Great place for family R&R
We had a great time celebrating our aunt's 70th birthday at the coast. The house was fully stocked with everything for cooking. We had an issue with BBQ grill, called owner and they came right the way to fix. Jamaican beach was a great location. There was the beautiful sunset view from the deck. We enjoyed our family weekend here.

Expecting the use of the paddle boat and not having a boat that worked was a disappointment to the teenagers.
The parents were very displeased with the mold smell in the lower level. In retrospect, probably should not have let the children sleep down there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds where extremely comfortable, tv in each room was a plus. Management was very friendly and easy to work with. The reason for three stars is the down stairs bedroom/play area smell was very hard to get past. I am a bit of a detail nut when it comes to our vacation rentals and there were a few MINOR details missed, but overall the house was well stocked, close to the beach and a short drive to Galveston.
