A truly exceptional property. Beautifully kept and maintained. Ana could not have been more kind and helpful.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are exceptional. The photographs on the web site do not do it justice. We had a large group of family and friends for 2 weeks and everyone was very comfortable and Ana was an excellent host. The ‘cookers’ are a delight and the traditional food they cooked was beautiful. The groundsman was also very helpful and friendly. The village of Azaiteo is lovely and nearby Galopinos beach was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have been more happy with our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special to spend time with loved ones.

Absolute perfection from start to finish. As many have said, the pictures do not do the villa justice. You really have to see it to believe it. We spent two weeks at Villa St. Antonio prior to our wedding, which naturally comes with a degree of stress. Ana went so far above and beyond to ensure our experience was a relaxing one and she made the lead to our wedding something we'll remember forever. We will most certainly be back for a visit!

The house and landscape is beautiful. No words to describe the beauty and tranquility. The house is also very comfortable, it’s large, with adequate bedrooms and bathrooms, and so many outdoor and indoor areas to sit as a family or relax alone and read a book. There is a Large dining area both indoors and outdoors. The pool was a favorite for everyone. The location is very convenient; a quick drive to town and to get groceries and there is plenty to do within a 30 min drive from the house. We were 6 adults, 4 teenagers and it was perfect. The host, Ana-Maria is lovely. She and her husband met us at the property at check in to greet us, and show us the house. It was very easy to communicate. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back. Our family group of 9 stayed at Ana and Antonio's place for a week in September. They were great hosts, meeting us nearby to help us find the villa when we checked in, and responsive to requests and questions. They helped arrange a welcome meal cooked by local chefs on the first night which was a nice touch. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with a huge kitchen for communal cooking and space for eating indoors and outdoors. Beds were comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. Outside, there is a beautiful pool and lots of places to relax with a book and enjoy the views over the Arrabida national park. The house is set in several acres of property which is nice for a short walk, but unfortunately longer walks are difficult due to the number of fences and gates blocking access (despite it being in a national park). A car is a must, and there are some fantastic walks and beaches within a short (~20 minute) drive. The local town (Azeitao) is small but has restaurants and a couple of interesting wineries to tour. We had very few complaints with our stay. One suggestion would be to let guests know what they need to stock up on before arriving (the kitchen was short of some key supplies when we got there). Another heads up for North American guests: no window screens! so mosquitoes can be a nuisance. Thank you again Ana and Antonio for your hospitaliy!

Absolutely outstanding in every way!! The home is larger and even more beautiful than captured on listing. There were 10 of us aged 4-60 and there was plenty of space and activities for everyone. The views are incredible. The pool is amazing. We didn’t want to leave the property! Ana is a kind and communicative host available to answer questions about the history of the home or give suggests on places to visit. We highly recommend!!

Wonderful and breathtaking property with many outdoor spaces as well as indoor spaces. For our multi generation family, so many things to do….close to Lisbon, beaches and nature. Also , a gorgeous pool! Ana was an amazing host and always responsive. We also used the other Ana and her friend who cooked three lovely meals for our group of nine. An amazing family vacation!!!!

WOW! What a property. This stunning house has been in the family for generations and is still enjoyed by the family today. Because of this, the house is well loved and cared for. The precious details of fresh cut flowers and the softest linen I have ever rest my head on. We loved every moment of the 10 days we spent here. The kids were outside and in the pool and the adults spent peaceful times around all corners of this property. The property is secluded and peaceful yet close enough to town to get everything you need. We had a great time exploring all of the local beaches and even had a private-cook come and add that extra special touch to our stay. Ana Maria and Antonio were perfect hosts, responsive, hospitable and full of brilliant advice and local knowledge. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Foi uma estadia gloriosa em que se conjugaram uma casa bonita, impecavelmente arranjada e limpa, uns senhorios muito simpáticos e um tempo maravilhoso. A casa é espaçosa, muito cómoda e sobretudo é uma casa vivida, em que sentimos que por breves dias a partilhamos com alguém. A vista da serra é repousante e os espaços em torno da casa permitem-nos desfrutar dela muito comodamente. Obrigada, Ana e António por nos darem esta oportunidade!

We went in this house for ten days with friends and everything was perfect ! The house is much better in real than in picture, beds are very comfortable and the pool is amazing ! I will come back in this magic place ! Ana was very welcoming and nice and we did have a special night withe a cooker who did bake a delicious meal for all of us. Everybody was very happy and did have an amazing time in this house !

We werden persoonlijk ontvangen en rondgeleid door de eigenaars van de woning en gedurende ons hele verblijf waren zij goed bereikbaar voor vragen en reageerden zij snel. De villa, de terrassen, het zwembad, het uitzicht: het leek wel een sprookje. We hebben als familie een fantastische tijd gehad: comfortabel in de villa en het zwembad en stranden, stadjes en Lissabon dichtbij. En in coronatijd een uitstekende plek om te verblijven zonder dat je iets mist. De kinderen vonden de spelletjes, het zwembad en het speeltuintje heerlijk!

Wat een prachtige plek om met een grote familie te verblijven, een heerlijk huis in mooie omgeving, niet ver van Lissabon. Buiten heerlijke natuur, een prima zwembad en volop plekjes om te zitten. Het was geweldig! Ana was altijd bereikbaar voor vragen.

Ett otroligt vackert hus, fantastiska utemiljöer, underbart poolområde, hänförande utsikt. Helt enkelt ett toppenboende för 12 personer (ålder 3-69 år) och en liten hund.

Vi var alla nöjda med vår semestervecka! Både barn o vuxna. Barnen älskade poolen! Hittade fina bad vid kusten. Tyvärr var inte vädret så bra. Firade födelsedag under veckan, Ana Emilia lagade en fantastisk middag åt oss! Vi fick även bra tips om området! Tack, vi hoppas kunna återkomma!

The owner Ana has been amazingly helpful to ensure we got the most from our stay in the property and area. A casa de Santo Antônio da Arrábida , e realmente de alta qualidade , de óptimo gosto e com uma vista deslumbrante para a serra da Arrábida. Passamos uma semana relaxante e muito simpática , onde tudo correu bem, acompanhado pelos excelentes cozinhados da D Ana Emilia , ( que poderá ser contratada , caso seja do Interesse dos hóspedes) cozinhados esses regados pelos óptimos vinhos da região. A proprietária está sempre disponível para esclarecer qq assunto do interesse dos hospedes , embora os elementos de consulta existentes na casa , por si só , cubram praticamente tudo o que podera ser questionável sobre a região. Impecável estadia! Parabéns aos proprietários!

Magnifique propriété avec beaucoup de charme et d’élégance Les propriétaires Antonio et Ana sont adorables et nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux La décoration intérieure est très soignée et la piscine est un véritable havre de paix Le parc national de l’arabida entoure la propriété et toutes les plages aux alentours sont sauvages et superbes. Je recommande chaudement cette destination !!!

Fully equipped house for 10 people provides all you need for a stress-free holiday with your family. We've spent the most of our time in the relaxing outdoor areas such as the terraces or around the pool. Ana Maria accommodated us very good so we felt very homelike. She was always happy to help us with information about the property and the surrounding area such as good restaurants, shopping tips as well as other activities and sight seeing highlights in the region.

We had a wonderful week here as a family (7 adults and a toddler) to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house exceeded expectations - it really is Ana’s home and she has thought of everything. There are lots of lovely spots for some alone time, perfect areas for indoors and al fresco meal times and the most stunning views from the terrace and the pool. The beds were very comfortable with beautiful bed linen and the black out shutters meant our little one slept in until 8.30am every morning which was bliss!! The place is not child proofed so I was glad we had several eyes to watch our adventurous little boy, but that’s not to say that it’s not suitable for children and Ana provided all we needed in terms of a cot, high chair and toys. We had a beautiful meal cooked for us by Ana Emilia and enjoyed several trips to local beaches. A wonderful place where we hope to return one day.

The best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. Lovely location Ana was the most helpful owner assisting us in organising a tour to Lisbon.

We stayed in Ana's villa for a few days in April. The weather was o.k. and spring had already arrived, with many colorful flowers. The rainy days were great for enjoying the house, laying around in the comfy couches by the fireplace watching a movie or playing board games. There is quite a big collection of books in many languages all around the house, which we happily discovered! Miss Ana Emilia (not the owner Ana) was a dear, cooking for us and cleaning up the rooms (we paid extra for her to come to the house a few times). There are quite a few supermarkets near the village and the coffee shop Negrito great for buying some traditional bakeries, teas, etc. On the sunny hours of the day we went strolling around the farm and watched the chickens, picked up some oranges and so on. One of our favorite details were the bunnies that eat the grass in the morning. We had such a relaxing week! Thank you Ana! Everything was perfect! We are definitely returning :)

We had the most perfect week at Antonio and Ana's home. The house is amazing - everything is done so beautifully and it has all the amenities that you'd need. The pool and outdoor areas were a major highlight! We also had the cook Ana come one night and she prepared us the most incredible meal - probably the best food we had all week! Antonio was so helpful the entire week to organize taxis and Ana's cooking, as well as giving us lots of recommendations for beaches and restaurants. We could have happily stayed there for a month! We didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back soon.

This is the most heavenly villa we have encountered. Ana & Antonio are gracious hosts with an incredible sense of style. Our two families had a wonderful time, there was space for all of our 9 to spread out and then come together for gorgeous meals especially when Mrs Ana prepared them. Our only regret was not having Mrs Ana earlier as she is an angel with a heart of gold and cooking skills to make one swoon. This really is the experience of true Portuguees hospitality and we will forever be grateful.

We stayed in this lovely quinta with two families and it couldn' t have been better. It is the best house we have ever rented. We felt like kings and queens for a week. The owners Antonio and Ana: enthusiastic, tremendously helpful and flexible The house: even more beautiful and spacious than on the pictures, very clean and comfortable The surroundings: lovely Lissabon and Sesimbra are close, but staying in the quinta and just enjoying the view is also very tempting!

Thank you, Ana and Antonio, for letting us stay in your beautful villa in Azeitao during our Easter break. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days there and we would have liked to stay there longer, but unfortunately, duty calls. The property was perfectly located for us, in the quiet woodland countryside, just a short car/bike ride from the nearest village. The hills around the villa provided a good opportunity for early morning walks/runs for those of us who enjoy that. The villa fitted us perfectly, with the 5 spacious bedrooms, plenty of space and all required amenities. The outside patio was frequently used, for breakfast in the morning, some shade during the midday sun and in the evenings for dinners and conversations. The swimming pool was frequently used for cooling down and for exercise. Thank you for arranging for Ana Emilia to prepare her lovely dinners for us. Her locally flavoured dishes were very tasty. She even assisted us in obtaining some very good locally produced wine. Your recommendation on the local beaches on the southern shore and the surrounding hiking terrain was appreciated. We had a couple of really enjoyable days there. The Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo beach was a pearl. The location of the villa also gives the opportunity to visit places like Lisboa and Sintra, places that we would recommend anyone to visit. Wir haben bei für die Jahreszeit gutem Wetter einige sehr erholsame Tage in diesem außergewöhnlichen Domizil verbracht. Das großzügige Anwesen bot Platz für jedwedes Interesse, vom sonnen und baden bis hin zu sportlichen Aktivitäten oder einfach lesen in einer der vielen gemütlichen Ecken. Die Gastfreundschaft und vertrauensvolle Behandlung durch Ana und Antonio waren neben der Präsentation der portugiesischen Kochkunst durch eine Freundin der Vermieter das I-Tüpfelchen . Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse, 6 adultes et 5 enfants.Cette maison familiale est magnifique, l'endroit est reposant et la forêt de pins à perte de vue est juste exceptionnelle, les terrasses sont aménagées pour que les petits et les grands puissent en profiter au maximum et avoir des moments de repos bien mérités après les baignades dans la piscine,.Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et on prévu tout ce dont nous avions besoins pour que notre semaine soit la plus agréable possible. Ana nous a préparé deux repas succulents dans la bonne humeur (pratique quand ont ne veut pas se mettre aux fourneaux pendants les vacances). Les plages sont magnifiques dans la réserve et sont à peine 15 minutes de la maison.Le village n'est pas très loin nous l'avons fait à pied une jolie balade dans la nature, pour ces qui aiment faire du jogging le cadre est juste fantastique courrier dans la pinède est juste phénoménale. We stayed in the villa of Ana and Antonio for a week. The villa is really spacious and very nicely decorated. The house is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The house has a nice view over the valley and the splendid pool. Combined with the warm hospitality of Ana and Antonio this villa is a real top location and we would recommend it to anybody who's looking for a large villa close to Lissabon !
