My friends and I stayed here to celebrate an early birthday and we had the absolute best time. Upon arrival the home smelled and looked incredibly clean. Nothing prepared us for the beauty of this property, as well as the bonus of livestock and rabbits visiting us. The setting, the pool, the hot tub, and the sunsets were dreamy. We enjoyed nature hikes as well. We can’t wait to visit this property again. It is a true slice of Texas heaven.

The house sleeps 13 and we had one person who had to sleep on top of a couch. I did not get what I paid to utilize. The house was not clean but the pool was very nice. The management was communicative but avoided answering questions where I feel like they knew they were deficient.

If you want to forget of the city life & have a relaxing time, this is a place to do so. On a hill & no one around for miles. Room are spacious. The house layout was great. Some of the walls needed repainting & furniture needed to be replaced. But overall a great experience.

Plenty of room for 10 women! We loved the pool and used it every day. We could be as loud as we wanted. Loved watching the deer eating at the feeder!

Great for Family!
Loved the house. Perfect for us. Wild turkeys, deer, and cows on the property. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for everyone. Pull out couch was broken. Wimberly is right up the street with plenty to see and do.

Outpost for Weekend Celebration
The beautifully appointed house nicely accommodated our three generational family grouping and the family friends that joined us to attend a nearby weekend celebration. The property description alerted us to the adventurous interior drive between the road and the house, and the cattle along the road reminded us that we were on a working ranch. It was unseasonably hot in Wimberley for early May, but the afternoon breeze by the pool on the hilltop was delicious.

Excellent stay
We had the best time at this property. The atmosphere feels cozy and inviting. It was too cold to swim, but the hot tub was nice. It wasn’t on when we arrived and it took a day for it to heat up, but we were able to enjoy it. The scenery was beautiful and the grocery store was about 10-15 minutes away as well as the shops in Wimberly. The beds were pretty comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals. Due to the rural nature of the property, the internet was pretty slow, but it was almost to our benefit because we were able to unplug a big. It worked well enough for the kids to be able to watch something in the mornings while we all woke up and got ready for the day. We all agreed that we would stay at this property again. I do wish there were more towels available, but I didn’t look super hard to see if there was a stash of them. My favorite thing was definitely the view from the top of the hill where the house is. We enjoyed a little nature walk with the kids. It was a wonderful stay and we were all sad to leave.

Great escape
We had a great weekend getaway in Wimberly. This property is secluded and everyone loved it. The only reason I gave a score of a 4 overall is because the bed we slept it was old/worn and it’s probably time for a new one (the one in the bedroom to the left up the stairs) All in all great house and will definitely rebook this rental.

Comfortable rental, easy check-in and all utensils you need. Rental agent not responsive at all.
Left 2 voicemails and a vrbo message for rental agent and never received a response back during our 6 day stay or since. That was our only dissatisfaction with the property.

Terrible start
Got to the house just after the 4p.m. check in.House was dirty,washing machine on, beds not made and linens and towels on the floors. Called vrbo, we ended up having to leave for a couple of hours while the house was cleaned. They did refund a nights payment and cover the meal we had while waiting but it still kind of ruined the first night. The house though dated was great and fit our needs for the most part .A/C upstairs didn't seem to work well and one of the portable units in the bedroom didn't work, had to call about that and they did sent someone to fix it.Automatic gates were only automatic going in,had to get out of car and hit gate button to get out, annoying in the rain. I think the manager
needs to check this propery on a more frequent basis and fix the problems before customers arrive. The house is located out in the countryside in beautiful surroundings, the pool area is great and as I said though it could do with updating the inside has everything one could need,large rooms and plenty of storage space..If we had not had to deal with the problems we encountered I would have given 5 stars. We come every year to this general area and have never had any problems at previous properties we have rented.

Incredible Ranch Style Retreat
LOVED this precious home on 30+/- acres. Clean, tidy, beautiful, remote, AMAZING views, peaceful, and precious decor. Only complaint would be that the listing photos did the home a disservice, we were SO pleased with how perfect this property was for our extended girls weekend. The pool was a great size and the new covered area near the pool was the perfect touch for outdoor activities. Close to town that is loaded with delicious restaurants, shopping, and the Zip Lining was the perfect entertainment. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation.

Family and I had a great stay. The view was awesome! So peaceful and quiet. Great trails - we took a side by side. Recommendations: upgrade on mattresses upstairs.

Father's Day Weekend
The best thing about this property is the location. Located more than a mile back from the road at the top of a hill, the views, gentle breezes, and wildlife were some of the best features of our stay. The photos of the property exaggerate its size--especially the pool. The house itself is rather dated. The TV in the living room could be considered vintage like the house's antiques. The kitchen is adequate, but nothing special. Furniture is well worn. One of the electrical outlets in the master bedroom is loose and could potentially electrocute a person. The finish out in the guest house is very poor--imagine a run down Motel 6. Fortunately, we spent most of our time outside and that's really the reason to stay here. I don't think we would return mostly because the property is overpriced for what it is. With some updating and attention to details it could be a real gem.

Awesome vacation
We had a great time. The house was even better in person and the owners even offered to move us due to a minor repair that they weren't able to fix before our arrival that we barely noticed. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect especially after the Governor closed the river tubing at the beginning of our vacation. We so enjoyed the amazing view, privacy and yard. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyable stay
I really enjoyed staying here and would rent this property again, the location is great, but there were several maintenance issues, which if taken care of would have made our stay almost perfect. I called the property manager the first morning and did not receive a response that day, called back the next day and waited about an hour, did not receive a response, so then I emailed and finally got a response.

Good Vacation
The property sits on top of a hill overlooking the Hill Country. The outdoor views are beautiful. Good location for wine tours, shopping, and dining. It is close to downtown Wimberley.
An overall good place to stay for a party of 8. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers.

Ok
Upon arrival, we noticed the pool was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. Inside the house, we noticed both of the refrigerators were not working properly, the toilet in the guest house was also not working and the AC was broken. Also, be warned that there are scorpions inside the main house. We found one on the bed although it isn’t disclosed anywhere in the listing about them. Everything in the house was very dusty, so you do have to clean yourself when you arrive. They do however, have great maintenance. As soon as we called for the AC, they sent someone out to fix it. We just didn’t want to keep calling upon finding other issues since the trip was meant to be a small vacation. Everything else was ok, overall we had a good time.

Family Vacation
We are an extended family of 11 + 1 Dog, so finding a property that can fit us all comfortably is tough. This property not only was spacious but also beautiful. The pool was the icing on the cake

MIxed Review
Pros:
Great location and wonderful breezes with wrap around porch to enjoy all day.
Spacious with large dining table.
Cons:
House needs some repairs and could have been cleaner.
Kitchen could be better stocked such as having plastic glasses if that is what is expected around pool.
Pool had black algae growth all over. Property Manager argued with me and then sent pool tech the next day. He did put some algaecide in pool and replaced the Polaris bag as it was green. Unfortunately black algae is incredibly hard to kill so the treatment did nothing. We did go ahead and utilize the pool as it is not harmful to humans just incredibly gross. A property at this price level should not have conditions like this and I would not return to this property.

Clean, spacious, quiet!
We rented the house for our family to be together for my brother's wedding weekend in Wimberley. There was enough space for all of our families and the mother-in-law house was just perfect for my mom. We loved the wraparound porch and being able to eat most of our meals outside then just go play in the pool. Even though it was hot while we were there, the house stayed very cool and there was ample shade around the house. The laundry facilities and bathrooms were very nice and our bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed running along the driveway and really appreciated the seclusion. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we would definitely come again!

Beautiful Hill Country Home with awesome views
This was a perfect place to spend time with kids & grandkids. We loved the pool & hot tub. Plenty of room for large family. The morning view from the front porch was amazing, as we watched the sun come up. The upstairs carpet is in need of deep cleaning or replacement. Other wise it was a wonderful place to take our family on vacation.

Family Summer Vacation
We always rent a summer home for our family vacation and the Prosit Ranch didn’t disappoint. It had beautiful views and the house was clean and it was so peaceful I would recommend to anyone who needs a quiet getaway!!!!

This ranch was perfect for our family reunion. The views were incredible. The pool and hot tub were just what the hot June called for.

Beautiful property- an escape
We loved the home and property and had a wonderful time with friends. We would stay here again.
Only complaint was Property manager didn’t reply to messages on VRBO. I contacted them to let them know that on the first night we used the hot tub and everyone’s swimsuits were bleached and some of us had chemical rashes from how much chlorine and shock product had been put in the tub. It couldn’t possibly be the right amount and we were disappointed there wasn’t any heads up that the tub had just been shocked and we shouldn’t use. Also when we arrived the car port had tons of trash from the last guests im assuming. I would have expected that to have been removed. Animal and bugs had gotten into it.
Overall the property was amazing, beautiful and we had a great time.
