Enjoyed this particular Condo as a private entrance, extremely close to the pool, patio, and beach entry over the dunes. Only drawback, which is in the listing, is that this condo is ground-level, so no beach or ocean view due to the dunes. Far enough away from the pool that it was quiet, and could peacelfully sit on the patio if we chose to. Small little kitchen mishap, but was able to communicate quickly and efficiently with the owners. Can definitely tell the bathtubs are dated, but overall very much enjoyed our stay!

I also took pictures of this and also the crack in the kitchen island counter top. (Please contact me for these.)4. Step stool to reach items on top shelves in kitchen. I bought one but brought it home with me. We did however leave behind items to donate for the kitchen. Such as larger cutting board, splatter cover for microwave, spatulas, and some dishwashing items.Hot tub and elevators not working were an issue while we were there along with water being shut off due to broken pipes. We were only notified by email on the broken pipes.

The stay was good, though the community patio right outside our window/patio was weird and affected our ability to have an outside view most days.

Being right on the beach and close to driving distance for everything made it much easier. There were a few minor things not working in our room such as the dryer and stove but management came out right away to fix stove. They also came out mostly everyday in taking laundry for us to wash which was very kind of them. The property was clean and very nice. We were walking distance to stewbys seafood really great place and mini golf. Located right on the beach was awesome. We drive a 5 minute drive to Destin and ate down at Tailfind and rode the pirate ship. Also a minute drive to the Boardwalk and ate at Crab trap, Rocking tacos, and Al's all amazing food places. We walked the pier during sunset right by our place as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to others. I think we will be coming back next year!

The dryer broke in the unit a few days before we left and they offered to stop by pick up our laundry to wash them and bring them back if we needed them too. This property is older and you can tell. But, it is in a great location for the price. And right on the beach. We were in a first floor unit and had no beach view because of the dunes. But dunes are a necessity and I have no complaints. The pool was also very close. But not close enough for the commotion to be a problem. Great value.

Very family oriented resort. Stayed in 105 and it was very close to the pool area and beach access. Can’t see the beach from the patio due to the dunes but it was perfect for us.

When our kids were smaller we stayed at Ramanda inn now The Island. I asked some co workers where a good place to stay and was island princess was recommended to me .. we had an amazing time . The room was great , only fall back was being on the ground floor no ocean view ! We stayed in 105 . The upper side of that was with 7 of us and 2 being grandchildren it was easy access to pool and beach . Another plus when you come back to your room you enter thru the porch area and you don’t have to drag all the beach stuff thru the room to the porch area .. because you can never get all the sand off of everything .. that was a big plus .. the room was clean and very nice ! I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely come back. I was kind of worried about contact but they always responded and was so nice. The only reason for a 4 on about the equipment was the hot tub jets weren’t working which was not a big deal ! The pool was clean and nice !!

Room as described. Great location. Heated pool. On beach. Toaster and guest room TV doesn’t work. Floor was a little dirty on arrival. Could use a little updating. Love the patio.

Easy check in. Good communication about the construction. Only disappointment was that hot tub never opened. Location was perfect for us, about a mile walk to the fishing pier/boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay.

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy beach access and great location.

Rooms were great but location for deck was windy & couldn’t get sun easily! I have health issues & need to sun from room! Our friends in 412 had an excellent area! But didn’t feel we could intrude!

Location is awesome! Check-in was easy. Would like to have had an updated unit. The TV's, flooring, furniture, and decor were all quite old. There was not a vacuum and the broom was broken. Hot tub wasn't very hot and the pool was freezing!!!

Great location and easy booking and check in. Would absolutely rent from them again.

Some small rugs beside the bed would be nice to wipe the sand off our feet before getting unto bed. No mater what there is always going to be sand in the floor. My biggest dislike was not being able to lock our condo doors from the pool side. It needs a lock of some type. Even though the room is secluded, I still would like to be able to lock my door. Overall though, the condo was great!

Everything was good but couldn't see the ocean from our patio

The property was as nice as the photos and location was great!! We had a great stay. We left a small cooler for others to enjoy. Some condos we have stayed at in the past had beach towels, floats, even basics like zip locks people left instead of throwing away. This place did not so expect to purchase all of those items.

Overall, we had a great time. The condo was clean and met our expectations based on the description. Check in process was smooth. We liked the super-easy access to the beach! The pro is that we didn't have to mess with stairs or elevators; the con is there's no ocean view. But we expected that and were ok with it. Also, it was nice being by the pool, and it's on a secluded end that minimized noise from those at the pool. The master bed was firmer than my wife and I prefer, but that's really just personal preference. As indicated in another review, the microwave plate doesn't turn. It looks like the turntable has been replaced (as the owner indicated in their reply), and it fits the grooves/notches of the turning mechanism, but it still doesn't turn. Not a huge deal, but wanted to communicate that to the host. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the condo. Next time, we'd request that you keep the thunderstorms away! That was the most problematic thing while we were there, but we still had a great vacation.

Great vacation

Maintenance came in 3 of our 5 day stay which was a little annoying. We felt if the owners wanted to check on things, to have cameras set up and notify renters before hand instead of having maintenance come daily until we complained. The first day they said they needed to measure a door handle so they could order a new one. The second day they said they needed to deliver a new patio set. The third day they said they needed to spray for pests. That was when I drew the line and complained. The condo itself is nice. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer, the covered parking was wonderful because we could get into a cooled vehicle vs being in the sun. There were no rugs so we purchased cheap rugs from the Dollar Tree and the only broom we found was located on the back porch. I would recommend bringing a small dirt devil vac to get up the sand or use their outdoor broom. Wi-Fi was fast, fridge was cold. Door to A/C unit was very dusty but filter was clean. We pointed out to maintenance that it needed cleaning and he said not to clean it so they could show it to their cleaners as a teaching point. So the entire stay it stayed dirty. There was also dust on the ceilings that needed to be cleaned where the air vents blow. Other than that it was a great stay. Prime location. Even though you cannot see the beach and it has a view of chairs near the pool, it is very private as no one uses that end and all stay directly at the pool so again, very private. Restaurants just down the road we’re excellent. I would say this is the perfect location proximity wise.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was right on the ground level with a gate out to the patio to gain access to the beach which is really nice. The condo had plenty of space for me and my group. The only things I would recommend for improvement: 1. The air vents had a significant amount of mold on them. So much so that the ceiling where the vents are is black from the grime over the years. To me this could be due to the fact of moisture in the air but should be cleaned before guest arrival each time. 2. One of the outdoor chairs was in pretty bad shape. I have seen a review about this before our stay but this wasn't addressed by the time we arrived so we had to use our personal chairs for outdoor seating. 3. The floors and showers were not very clean. They need a deep steam clean. The grout in the entire condo is completely black which indicates this condo has not had a real cleaning in a very very long time. 4. The air conditioning does not blow well in the bedrooms so it gets very hot at night if you don't leave the bedroom doors open. 5. The building is not monitored by staff in any capacity so kids will be in the pool until 1&2am nightly but you can't hear them once inside so this is not a big deal but be aware. 6. The fans in the bedroom have zero light or fan speed controls so the fan is set to low and you can either turn It off or on only. Overall I would recommend the owner of this condo to do an overhaul of the fixtures, a deep cleaning, and upgrades to the chairs outside for the price that is being charged.

Reviewer Comments: I typically never expect much when it comes to renting a condo. We do so bc we like to have as many comforts as we would at home. (Full kitchen, 2-3 bedrooms, bathrooms etc) we walked in and instantly slid on sand. To be expected. It is an oceanfront condo. More days went by and we began to notice many things that were not to our satisfaction/standards. There were MANY spots throughout the condo that looks like they touched up paint. But did not match the paint color even close. The caulking around both bathtubs was molding underneath like no one bothered to clean it well before Re-caulking it. No where near enough towels. We did laundry (just towels) much more than we do at any other condos we’ve stayed in. There were spots on the ceiling where the paint/finish was peeling or bubbling. Looks like there was water damage or beginning of water issues. The kitchen cooking utensils were less than useable. Very flimsy and not many options to choose from. The beds and mattresses made A TON of noise! Not ideal for sleeping with a significant other or putting children to bed. The caulk around the patio outside would melt in the heat and got all over some water shoes we had sitting outside. There was one bar height chair on the patio I would not dare sit in for fear it would just collapse. The dryer handle kept falling off and would not stay on. The toilet in the master bedroom would run for forever after being flushed. That’s quite annoying when we were trying to relax at the end of the night in bed. The kitchen cabinet finish/veneer was peeling off several of the cabinet doors. Many of the dishes and pots and pans were not clean and had to be washed before use. The master bedroom furniture was humongous and difficult to maneuver around times. Over all i would not rent this condo again. These issues may seem like minor cosmetic issues to some, but I feel I could have stayed in a hotel with little to zero amenities.
