Beautiful little cottage less than a 10 minute walk from the beach. A 5-6 minute drive into town and the main strip. The house has every amenity you might need, and is very clean. My only comment would be the master bedroom really needs a current to separate the bedroom and the attached nook. I had extreme difficulty sleeping in past 5am because the room became extremely bright even with all the shades drawn. But over all a fantastic gem, and a high recommendation from us.

The home was so welcoming. The instructions for entering the home were spot on. Once entered we were pleasantly surprised just how much bigger the home was inside. The rooms were good sizes and accomodated everyone nicely. The water pressure was amazing! We could walk to the beach and ocean center which had a convenient store and ice cream shop. The drive to the amusement park was only about 7 minutes away. I had a question about something and the owners responded within minutes! We will be returning and making this our new yearly tradition. Thank you for sharing your home with us! 10/10

This home is so much more spacious than it looks from the outside. Enough space for a large family - well stocked with kitchen items, games, books, etc. A nice walk (or extremely short drive) down the road to the pretty and fairly quiet local beach, or you can drive about 5 minutes to Old Orchard Beach if you want to be in an area with hustle and bustle. Also very convenient to the highway if you want to head to Portland or other destinations.
The booking Kristin and Rich responded to my messages very promptly.
I highly recommend this rental and will be staying here again in the future.

From the moment we pulled into the property we were excited! great looking home inside and out; Close to the ocean and activities! we loved the board games available; the upstairs balcony off the master bedroom. Plenty of space for the kids and great having 2 bathrooms. We just loved it; The kids asked if they could stay longer! The decorating is amazing as well!

Great house! Fully stocked with toys and books which was wonderful for our three young sons. About 10 minute walk to the beach- but much shorter if you grab a scooter or bike. We had a lovely stay. Hope to come back next year!

We were pleased to stay at a well maintained property in a quiet neighborhood. The home was well stocked with dinnerware and glasses. The only problem we found was reported to you earlier and that was the need to explain where the lock box between the two windows was located (in the garage).

Property owners were a delight. Property was perfectly maintained and equipped. Beach 6 blocks away. Food was wonderful but as with everywhere Covid has taken its toll on the restaurant industry. Too bad we can't educate the uneducated about the benefits of society in general about the vaccines.

We enjoyed our stay, loved the house. Would be nice to have a queen instead of a full for a second bedroom but there were absolutely NO complaints. We used the grill and laundry and beach chairs and that made our stay work perfectly! GREAT HOSTS!

Beach days
All was as advertised. Short walk to beach. Many extras that were previously mentioned. Had some hot days for the upstairs but used the pull out bed with air unit close by. Very comfortable. Owners were super accommodating. We did need to purchase extra paper supplies however family of seven.

Nice home in OP.
We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was clean and accommodated our group of six very nicely. The master bedroom was very nice with an adjoining sitting area and balcony. The kitchen was well supplied. The living room was large with seating for about nine people. We were definitely stay here again. The owners responded within minutes every time we had a question. It was just under a half mile walk to the beach, but we were able to drive when we wanted to because with Covid and this time of year (early September) it isn’t all that crowded.

Beach get-a-way close to everything!
Location is fabulous! Owners were great and very responsive to all of our needs. House has plenty of room and everything you need to have a great vacation. The desk in the master bedroom is very helpful for a work/play getaway. Kitchen is very well equipped. Only thing I would recommend to make all future stays more comfortable is replacing the main sofa in the living room and adding air conditioners to the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Thank you Kristin and Rick!

Very nice tidy apartment near the beach
Very friendly, well kept up neighborhood. House is on small lot, a short walk away from the beach. Very clean. All amenities available. We had some confusion about the wi-fi at first, but got it figured out quickly enough. The bicycles weren't really in great shape, and, although this wasn't why we came, we thought we'd give them a try and found they weren't really rideable. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Very quiet bedroom community near the library. Everything worked perfectly inside. We left a map of Orchard Beach in the kitchen, in case any guest might want to place themselves with respect to the downtown and other amusements in the area. Instructions for entry were easy enough to follow. This house suited our family perfectly as we have 3 children, twin girls and an older girl. The twins happily took the room with 2 beds and our older daughter was happy to have the smaller of the other two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a huge king (with a small sunroom and porch) which were quite delightful. We'd recommend it.

Everything was perfect! The house was clean & very roomy for 5 adults & 2 young children! The location was great! A sort walk to the ocean & a short drive to many different stores! We loved it!!

Perfect spot
A beautiful comfortable place with everything you need for wonderful week in Ocean Park. Bright sunny kitchen and loads of room for relaxing. The beautiful tree lined street was so comforting to come home to after a day at the beach. Kristin and Rick are the best hosts and very responsive for the smallest question.

Home and location was perfect!
We were in town for a local baseball tournament during Memorial Day weekend. As soon as we arrived we knew the place was going to be great. The home was clean and well organized, the neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing as well. The owners Rick and Kristin were always available for any questions and always followed up promptly. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Spacious and Inviting Property
We enjoyed our stay at this Ocean Park retreat. We found it relaxing and appreciated the spaciousness. The location is one of convenience as the oceanfront is nearby as are restaurants, supermarkets, and the Old Port is only a short drive away. The owners were very responsive to our questions prior to our visit, providing requisite information for our stay. We would do it again providing we receive our refundable deposit!!

Lovely Home and Fun Vacation!
We absolutely loved our time in this Ocean Park vacation home! It was very well kept, clean, nicely decorated, it had all the amenities for adults and kids. It was a beautiful and relaxing walk to an awesome beach! We just hands down loved our one week vacation there! Thank you Rick and Kristin!

The owners went out of their way to answer any & all questions and their warmth and great
attitudes and ease of talking with Kristin and Rick made them seem like old friends.
The cottage is spotless with every need from utensils to related reading material on the
cottage and Ocean Park provided and the sleeping arrangements and beds, etc. were all first rate and the A/C and heating (although we didn't need the latter for our stay) were perfect.
The convenience of the nearby beach and Ocean Park's down town were a big plus. And the town has a serene, comfortable and friendly ambiance, a very special "small town" appeal
that coupled with the majestic sandy beach and refreshing ocean, makes this a very special
place to visit or have an extended stay. An unqualified "we loved it" from myself and family.

A true Gem
This is truly a wonderful cottage. The pictures did not do it justice - it is far more spacious than the pictures show. I needed a cottage to stay during my daughter's wedding and it provided the perfect venue for her and her bridesmaids. The owners were always prompt in all our email exchanges and extremely flexible with my requests. Anyone who stays here will find peace, tranquility and cozy environment. A true gem in Ocean Park.

We're repeat renters and for a very good reason: this property is truly a home away from home. Can't say enough about the home and Ocean Park, in general. Every amenity is provided and the owners are quick to respond to any questions, etc. We'd recommend this home to anyone who appreciates a beautiful, comfortable cottage that affords close proximity to the beautiful beach on one side and the cooler, pine-shaded area on the other.

Couldn't Have Asked For More
This was my first experience renting a cottage and it was the best. The property was beautiful, clean, furnished nicely, and had everything you could want. There was a great selection of books and games that kept the kids busy when we weren't outside. It's a short walk to the beach, which we did every day. I would and have recommended it to friends already. They just better not want it when I do!

Perfect Vacation Home
Our family has rented many homes in Maine over the years but I have to say, by far, that this is the best one of all. This home offers every amenity imaginable including internet access, fully equipped kitchen, convenient first floor laundry area, gas grill, games and large TV in the livingroom.The master bedroom is to die for with the separate sitting room, private deck and television. The other bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's too bad that there aren't photos of these as well. Having 2 full bathrooms is a luxury not always offered in rentals. There was so much room that everyone had a place to retreat when they wanted some quiet time away from the family. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The distance to the beach was around 10 minutes and, like the house, it was clean and well-maintained. The street is very quiet which allowed us to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep after a busy day of kayaking, bicycling, swimming, shuffle board and tennis. I recommend at least one stop at the old-fashioned ice cream parlor and candy store. Although we shopped Hannaford's to stock up, it was convenient to have the little deli right in the heart of Ocean Park - we highly recommend their lobster rolls. The distance to OOB Pier is doable although I'd recommend driving and parking for convenience. You can see the Pier and rides from the beach but are far enough away to not hear all of the noise. Watching the Thursday night fireworks from the beach was a bonus.This is a true family vacation home that would appeal to all ages. We look forward to returning next summer and are thrilled to have finally find the PERFECT vacation spot.
