We did our Girls Trip here and had a fabulous time! There were only 4 of us and we had our own rooms. There was so much to do. From hiking to horseback riding to wineries and relaxing in the hot tub at the house! We definitely plan on coming back again. I have other friends that want to use this house for their Girls trip too!

Our stay was wonderful! The space was more than we could have expected!! We loved everything about the property.

We had a great time at Moorhead Lodge! The property is beautiful, our kids enjoy exploring the trails and creek. The house was spacious and clean and updated and Ben and Megan were very responsive. We are already planning our next trip and hoping to bring friends with us to stay at one of the other cabins on the property!

Overall , great stay. Nice trails. Little disappointed in fishing opportunity. Pond was quite low and no fish caught.

Home was very nice suited our family well. Loved the large kitchen and very long table, seated all of us and good for games. Pond was nice the younger kids loved the fishing and of course hocking hills is great for hicking. Thank you Pam

Loved the house. Only really complaint is the back door off of the kitchen doesn’t open or close easy kinda tricky to figure out. The beds downstairs are really comfortable but the frame of the bed is not ideal. I would have slept better if my husband wouldn’t have had to crawl over me just to use the restroom. But the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. We couldn’t figure out how to use the fans outside to get air moving it was muggy. The house was beautiful and the sights are amazing. Having a small trail on site was awesome for a quick kick to wake you up. The pond was nice to have didn’t catch anything. It’s a great venue for sure. We would be back. Loved the big table had to push over the bench to be able to fit all 8 of us at it. There are only 6 chairs at the table. We would go back for sure!!! Also a great place for a wedding we found the bridal suit when we were leaving. So pretty and a really great idea!!! Thank you so much for a great and beautiful place!

Great property with lots of space

It was an amazing time. Cabin was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. Perfect spot to drive about 15 mins down the road to go hiking.

A great weekend getaway. I wish we would’ve been able to stay longer!

The house and amenities were even better than expected! It was a perfect gathering space for a group of friends. So many hang out areas, a dining table long enough for all of us! A couple major highlights; the hot tub, the trails on the property, the kitchen (we cooked all weekend), the comfortable beds and all the living rooms. After check out we headed to old man’s cave for a nice short hike before hitting the road. I can’t wait to have another reason to gather a group of friends and come to Crockett’s Run!!

8 of us (4 couples) enjoyed out trip into Logan and its neighborhood towns. The house we stayed in was very well equipped and was all we wanted for a short weekend trip. The trail at the back in the woods, the fire pit and hot tub were all enjoyed very much. Recommend this to anybody looking for a small getaway.

Our family of 12 stayed at Morehead for 4 days. We enjoyed conversation on the back patio and cornhole on the hill. The teenage cousins played board games and cards games at the large kitchen table where we all also ate wonderful meals together. We used the charcoal grill for burgers and brats and drank coffee and adult drinks on the nice sized patio that fit all of us. Some of our group went to Old Man's Cave and Conkle's Hollow for some hiking and since we were so close, we took our oldest to Ohio University in Athens for a college visit. It was a wonderful getaway and a really nice place to unplug for some quality family time!

Our family chose this cabin as it was in a central location for our adult children and their families to get together. We had a group of 7 adults and 3 children ages 3 and under. The property was beautiful and provided a relaxing and fun vacation for us with many activities available in the area, and a beautiful property to enjoy hiking, fishing, and camp fires. We had a wonderful time!

The entire family love the house they love the property as well as the Jacuzzi and lake. Wish we were able to stay longer.

Everything was exactly as the website described. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large family.

The Morehead Lodge was a welcoming place to stay, had a great feeling of "home" away from home, and was set well amidst the larger surroundings of Hocking Hills and Logan, OH. We were close to hiking while being close to grocery shopping at the same time - great place to stay while getting away.

Stayed the weekend after Christmas with the family. Another family could not go so we had the house to ourselves. Enjoyed the snow (which I’m told doesn’t happen often) and ended up sled riding, using hot tub, and exploring outdoors. Thanks for a great weekend.

Other than an inconvenience with the dryer not working, this was an amazing place to stay!!! My kids loved the entire property. It is filled with natural wonder. The cliffs along the River were so beautiful. The kids especially enjoyed exploring outside. The house was very inviting for littles and teens alike. There were plenty of games and a fussball table as well. We had fun and it was so close to Hocking hills, only about 12 minutes to Cantwell cliffs.

The location, property, and amenities were great. Fishing poles were available to borrow for fishing, self service fire wood via the honor system, and a great hiking trail behind the property perfect for young kids. The property is located near Canoe take off. Everything was great!

This is a nicely appointed house with a charming deck and hot tub. Grounds were peaceful and nice for walking about. Hot tub was hot! Washer and dryer a plus!

So much to do! Kids loved the stock pond. Also got to watch meteor showers in the wonderful night sky from the fire pit. Very clean and up-to-date cottage.

We had a great time at Crockett’s Run! The cabin was spacious, updated and the property was absolutely beautiful. From the description I didn’t realize that you share the property with other cabins, so we had to take turns on the playground and do some socially distancing but there are plenty of places to explore so it wasn’t an issue. We had a blast fishing at the pond and hiking in the woods. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked, the linens were clean and there were plenty of chairs and outdoor seating. Highly recommend, we’d definitely come back!

The view, cabin and entire area was the perfect getaway for our family and friends! We definitely recommend!!
