This property well sites to give good views over the English Channel. The Veranda is really good to sit on for Breakfast if the weather is good!! The beds are really comfortable and warm . Good quality linens!! The bathroom is good although a bit small . The shower is great !! The kitchen has everything you need. Parking is off road and set for the property. Although there are three apartments in the block, we found it nice and quiet. The walk into town is a bit steep down the hill but worth the effort when you get to the pubs and shops . Really enjoyed the stay there and would recommend anyone looking for a nice place to stay to try this place !!

Very pleased with almost everything. A couple of things need a little attention, but there were no show stoppers. The blinds in the lounge didn't work - I think they had just come off their runners, and a couple of hooks in the bathroom would have been useful. I recommend a torch if you are walking back at night as the entrance to the parking area has some potholes. The allocated parking place is the 5th one in. It is marked, but when we arrived the dustbins were obscuring the marker. The apartment overlooked the bay and we had great views. It was quiet. A short walk to the Esplanade and the town. Ventnor has some really great restaurants, but booking is essential for evenings. We have already booked for next year!

This apartment was a nice peaceful base to explore the Isle of Wight. The seafront, bus stops and shops were a few minutes' walk away, and the sea views - particularly from the little balcony - were fantastic. The shower wasn't an issue for us and worked perfectly. Some areas could have done with a deeper clean and we would have appreciated a dishwasher tablet or two, but overall we had everything we needed to comfortably enjoy our stay.

We were really happy with the size of the apartment, location and facilities. It could benefit from a washer/dryer combo instead of just a washing machine, the sofa is pretty uncomfortable and the kitchen could really do with a better clean in some places, but generally all was great. If we decide to return to the Isle of Wight next year, we would definitely choose this apartment to stay in again.

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time as a family. Perfect location and amazing sea views from the property!

Lovely spacious apartment equipped with everything you would need with amazing views. loved Ventnor some great places to eat and drink Yes there is a steep hill to the apartment and if you had mobility issues you would probably have to drive the very short distance down the hill and park on the sea front, but not a problem for us and I don't class us as the fittest people around. Ventnor town has plenty of places to stock up on your basics plus a few interesting shops - the town is also easier to access by foot as you cut out most of the hill. It was our first but not last visit to the isle of wight and found the location great for getting around the island by car, but did notice what appeared to be a very good bus service which would do the same.

The flat is in a fantastic location, overly the sea & a short walk to the beach & pub! It was a great base from which to explore the Island, then to come back and watch the sunset from the balcony

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was well equipped we just had problems with the shower. Was well situated for getting to the beach & front. Walking down which we did was ok but the very steep incline on return was not easy. All in all it was an enjoyable week away. Best regards Veronica & Dennis

Loved almost everything about this property. Interior was perfect for us. One or two small niggles: Shower in main bathroom didn't work, however loads of hot water was a great compromise. Oven was slow to reach temperature so cooking was difficult to time. Parking was sometimes an issue as another resident had a vehicle about 3 feet longer than the designated parking bay. We didn't let any of these issues spoil our stay and would happily return.

Lovely property. Bigger than it appears on the listing. Great location. Loved it!

The property was exactly as advertised (although we did question if there was a BBQ b4 we booked and the host responded advising not and had it removed from the listing - so we knew beforehand that it wasn't possible). The view from the apartment was exactly as in the advertising photos and the kitchen had more equipment and gadgets than I have at home - garlic press and corn on the cob (spikes/holders?). The apartment exceeded our expectations. A really nice touch was the tea & coffee making facilities were all included, even down to a new carton of milk in the fridge for us, which was really welcome. The only possible thing which could be added would be a hair dryer, as we forgot ours. We had a fantastic stay -thanks Martin - and if we come back to the Isle of Wight would not hesitate to stay here again. I don't usually write reviews but this was so amazing I couldn't not. If you have mobility issues then this place wouldn't be for you though, as on a steep hill (as is most of the Isle of Wight). Nothing to do with the owners but parking in the allocated space was tight, but nothing they can do, as this is due to the retaining wall of the property above and the other adjacent parking spaces. This was not a problem for us at all though. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

fantastic location and accommodation, would be hard to find better, very clean. quiet and modern, only suggestion would be a hairdryer (we didn't think to take ours)

The pictures for this apartment does not do it justice. The apartment is a lot bigger than it looks and the views are breath taking. Being able to see the Sea from all of the rooms apart from the bathroom was amazing. We could even hear the sea which was wonderful, especially to hear as you go to sleep. The apartment was so close to Ventor it made it possible to ditch the car for the week. Spy glass pub was minutes walk away which is a must place to eat and drank at. Ice cream stall a little futher down was also extremly good. The beach was clean and the water very shallow in places, ideal for those who love to swim. As you look out of the villa to the right is a walk along the coast to Steephill Cove, where we was able to hire a Canoe for the hour. The walk was an idea area to spot the Lizards. If I could rate the apartment 6 star I would. Communication was excellent. Thank you Martin for allowing us to check in early. We will definitely be returning.

The property was clean, well equipped and convenient for shops and restaurants. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and it is wonderful to drop off to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. The parking space is a great asset in Ventnor where parking is limited. The property is on a steep hill which might be a problem for the less able. We will definitely go back.

An extremely well equipped spacious apartment, with the most fantastic South facing view over Ventnor beach from the balcony. Very comfy large bed and pillows. Parking space for one car, but we easily found free parking for a second car nearby. Highly recommend, hope to visit again.

The only downfall for us was the steep hill, we knew it was on a hill but didn’t realise just how steep, but that didn’t stop us having a brilliant holiday. Would certainly recommend

The apartment was quite large, and in a good position for easy access to the town and seafront. It is well equipped with every item you might need.It is halfway up a very steep hill, so only for the fit unless your car is used all the time. It has its own parking space, but is advertised as having a charge point for electric vehicles, which it doesn't. It has a lovely view of the bay from the balcony.

Fairly easy to find (we don't have satnav) and pleased to have a parking space (very important) as car parking very expensive. Perfectly situated for walking to beach and our favourite pub, the Spyglass. Would definitely book again

A small, well-presented property in an excellent location. It was lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves. The flat was clean and tidy and I would recommend it to friends. If I were to make any suggestions it would be that there is too many pans, crockery, etc, it could do with some new pans and paring down of the crockery. The mattress was also a bit soft but that may suit some.

The whole experince has been good. Communication with owner was prompt and helpful. Instructions for key collection accurate. Apartment clean and had everything (and more) we need for a family of 4. Loved the little touches bin bags, tea bags, dishwasher tablets and towels. Made it feel like home from home. Location is stunning! Waking up to hear the waves just made my holiday. The binoculars are a really good touch- we enjoyed guessing the boats destinations. Thank you so much for thinking of everything!

Would definitely recommend- glorious views and great apartment - we have rebooked for next year !!
