This is such a lovely little cottage situated in the heart of the village but on a very quiet lane overlooking the magnificent village church. It had everything that we needed and Mandy ( the owner) provided us with bread,milk,butter, biscuits jam, tea, coffee etc for our arrival. In addition the bottle of Prosecco she had chilled in the fridge was a lovely idea for our first night. We used the log fire which made such a cosy evening for us. There are lots of bars, lovely shops and eating places close by. All in all we could not fault the location and facilities No 2 provided. Mandy contacted us before our arrival and before our departure to check all had been satisfactory which we thought was a nice touch too. It is easy to park temporarily outside the cottage to drop of bags etc. Parking was then free on the road about 3 minute walk . We had one amazing meal at the Pheasant Inn which was a 5 minute drive away.

The location was excellent right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage had loads of character and was very cosy and welcoming. The host, Mandy, was attentive and wanted to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

This is a beautiful period property very well equipped with modern facilities, clean and tidy. The area is amazing the cottage is in a great location, literally a minute or two walk to the main street. Mandy the owner is very attentive and helpful, she left us bread, milk, coffee, tea, butter all the essentials that we would need on arrival that saved us carting them with us and the keys are easily accessed. Information spot on regarding parking. Very nice touches, folder in the property with all the information needed (inc WiFi code) plus places to eat and a monthly Kirby Lonsdale magasine to find out what is going on in the town. Beautiful place to stay we will be booking again.

Stairs to upper levels could be difficult to negotiate if mobility is an issue!! To be expected in an older property.

Excellent communication from the owner. Fab cottage in a great location. So comfy cosy and homely and everything you need. We've been coming here for a few years now and the moment I walk in its feels like my second home. All facilities in kitchen is great as the owner makes great use of kitchen and I highly rate the slow cooker as a great bonus, whilst out walking. . The personal touches are so lovely providing. Bread milk tea coffee Tec butter and even prosecco. So if you arrive late you have the staples there which is very generous. The location is so fab everything is so on hand and very peaceful no traffic to disturb you and waking up to birdsong is delightful. I will be returning. !!I time and time again

The cleanliness and home from home feel. The courtesy call from the host. The essentials left in the fridge, Milk, Butter and Prosecco. Also a loaf, tea, coffee, sugar and jams. The bathroom is fully stocked too. It’s the little things that count. Such a lovely clean and homely place to stay near to the town.

Mandy the host was so attentive to detail and made sure we had everything we needed. Cottage was located perfectly for easy access to the shops, pubs and places to eat. Really relaxing place to stay for a great getaway.

Nothing to dislike !

I stayed here with my 3 grown up children last weekend, when the weather was tropical and we absolutely loved the cottage. Perfect Location Beautiful decor and all mod cons Beds were THE most comfortable EVER. It truly won't be our last trip to stay here. Mandy, the owner has thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. We will be back soon!

I can honestly say, there was nothing at all that I would change. It was beyond perfect.
