Loved the location, condo well equipped and clean, the ocean views/sunrises were spectacular, communication was excellent....however, although mentioned in the description, climbing the stairs to the top of the building was a BIG drawback to our stay. I'm 77, my wife is 67, and we thought we could handle it, but realized it was too much of a hassle to be able to come back here. We'll be renting someplace in the future that has elevators.........still, nice place, and once we got to the top, thoroughly enjoyed our visit ....!!!! Huff...Huff...

We were very impressed with Mike’s property. The condo is located within walking distance of the boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. The condo is the perfect size for a couple and located right on the ocean. We are already discussing the possibility of visiting again in the future. Thank you!!

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation. Mike was a great host and helped accommodate an early check in. My only knock was that the bathroom could have been cleaner and we had to make the bed ourselves. You can't beat the location - steps from the beach and walking distance to all the best restaurants. Overall, it was a great stay.

Only issue was part of the condo had no power. We reached out to the owner and he responded immediately. An electrician came out and fixed the problem right away.

I am so incredibly happy witb our stay!! Watching the sunrise and laughing while walking up the never ending stairs. We made so many memories that I will cherish forever. Very comfortable condo in a quiet yet convenient location. Easy walk to many restaurants. For walking up three flights of stairs, you are rewarded with an incredible vantage point for viewing the ocean. We hope to stay here again soon!

This condo was perfect for the two of us. Great location and amazing view! Comfortable bed with nice bedding, nice bath towels provided and a comfortable couch for relaxing.
We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the beautiful sunrises and dolphins. We visited Wilmington and Southport, both great day trips.
Mike was a great host, very responsive.

It was a wonderful stay !! It was perfect for the two of us, we would get up to the most amazing sunrises and be able to sit on the balcony and ENJOY! I was surprised about the amount of restaurants/activities still available in offseason. It was so relaxed and easy to find -- ALL walking distance. It was very convenient to get to places without having to drive. Trust me-- I am in my 3rd trimester and it was so convenient to walk.

Perfect location for rest and relaxation. The view is amazing. The condo is well stocked with just about everything you need.
The no clean fee means you have to put the sheet on the bed yourself when you get there but that was no big deal it just threw me when we first arrived.
There is a washer and dryer in the unit whjch is nice but the dryer takes forever to dry.

Only negative I would say is the WiFi didn’t work on our second day ..the tv is TINY and cable kept skipping while trying to watch a football game 😞..would have been nice to have tv in bedroom ..

After many years of vacationing with family in Carolina Beach, this was the first trip my husband and I took by ourselves. We hoped to find a small, clean, oceanfront unit close to the boardwalk, and this condo checked all of our boxes.
The space was even larger in person than the pictures suggest. Bed and sectional were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. We even loved having dinner for two at the little dining table.
Outside, the private beach access was an awesome bonus! No need to walk down the street to public access with all your gear. Parking was a breeze all week as the building is small and there aren't many guests. It was so convenient to leave our sandy stuff right in our vehicle at night and grab it the next morning.
The boardwalk was less than a ten minute walk up the beach, and we appreciated having nightlife & restaurants close without needing to worry about a ride.
Finally, Mike was the ideal host. Helpful when we needed him, hands off when we didn't. He was responsive, welcoming, and professional at all stages.
We would 100% stay here again!

Great location to all Carolina beach has to offer with beautiful views! Easy check-in and overall a good place to stay. A couple negatives were the deck after any rainfall collects a puddle that has no where to drain and there was no outdoor water spigot to wash the sand off your feet upon returning from the beach. The bathroom could use some minor updates, but with that being said, you can not beat the cost for this oceanfront rental.

Perfect for 1 or 2, i loved the fact that everything is within walking distance that i needed. Mile or less. Super easy access to the beach, the condo was perfect, clean, comfortable and the sunrise veiws are perfect. The greatest thing was the condo is afforable. He wasnt busting heads, well worth the money. If i go back to CB im grabbing this one again!
