Buffet de desayuno y cena muy repetitivos

La ubicación
No me gustó , que no me gustara algo. Me encantó

Quarto empoeirado, limpeza fraca.

Very nice hotel. Nice staff. Comfortable, direct near mountains. Good breakfast and dinner. Good prices.

Breakfast had lots of options . Great space .
Would have preferred a room with a view and not looking into the back of a building.

Amable and kind staff
breakfast could improve a bit. One day it had mixed eggs that were green

The food and the kitchen staff were very lovely! Super friendly and helpful!
The cleaning staff were attentive and reactive, they deserve all the praise.
The hotel is super close to the ski lifts which is the selling point the whole reason we booked the stay. 10/10 for convenience.
The Room: The beds were very underwhelming, instead of a standard double size bed we got two separate beds pushed together, the bed legs came apart on their own and we had to screw them back on everyday. The mattresses were not so comfortable and very slippery.
The room was also poorly ventilated. It takes one shower and the whole place was filled with steam.
I didn’t like the absence of closets as I am not appreciative of leaving my belongings out in the open, but the staff was very considerate and nothing was misplaced so I appreciated that.
The biggest disappointment was that the room door isn’t soundproof. And you can hear Everything! This was a huge point of dissatisfaction for us, for a hotel with a big hollow lobby that overlooks a busy restaurant and a child playground, it gets extremely noisy during peaks hours and you cannot enjoy your sleep even if you wanted to. I cannot emphasis how big of a letdown this was.
The Snack Bar menu: if you missed on the restaurant service hours, then you will probably go hungry as the menu doesn’t show lots of variety at all and it gets boring quickly. I should note that it’s also overtly overpriced for dishes that are very basic and not gourmet. They tasted great but I advice you catch the buffet hours or look elsewhere because after a long day of skiing, a meal at this place will not bring you back to full.
The spa: Disappointing. Small. Nothing much to offer besides a tiny jacuzzi, two small steam rooms and one shower. Very much not worth the price.

Great location. Great staff (it was fun to try dig up some forgotten knowledge of Spanish).
Only the beds. Spring beds may be comfortable for some but I have the impression of fighting to stay on it.

Very friendly reception staff, clean room and very quiet place.
A bit far from the restaurants / leisure area.

Clean and the sauna was good
The place is sterile and the staff reserved. Lacks a bit of soul. Can't even get a glass of wine with the dinner. Do not offer takeaway lunch packs, despite being situated at the doorstep of the national park.

Location of the hotel is right by the chairlift so you can ski/board to the base. In relation to arinsal village the hotel is at the top of a steep enough hill but if you master the bus timetable that can be avoided.
The staff here are the real deal. Just nice, courteous and helpful. Always a smile and a nod.
Dora and Rio (not his name as it escapes me currently but i remember he said that is where he is from) were so pleasant and helpful. All the staff are but I had the most interactions with them.
In the bar, I was observing the bar man (didn't get his name), who was just so good at dealing with the young kids running around the place. He treated them with respect and fun. It was very refreshing to see. You knew that it was genuine and in his nature/character. Dealing with the kids just came easy and natural to him.
The food in the buffet breakfast and restaurant was OK but I will admit I am a fussy eater so my opinion doesn't really carry much weight in this area (i am a very plain ,non adventurous eater). All the other guests seem to be happy enough though. The food in the bar was pretty good (burger and schnitzel).
The smell in the room after the cleaning staff have been in is pretty weird. It's not bad just strange, like a mouldy disinfectant. Wouldn't put my off staying here at all just found it odd.
Had kids knocking on my door and then doing a runner till it was there time to go to bad so I just returned the favour when they were trying to sleep...Good times but slightly awkward when there parents answered the door before I could get away......

The location.
The area was beautiful. However, that's where things went downhill.
Read to the end before you book this hotel.
If you book through booking, you won't be able to use the spa, hot tub, and steam room, an extra €17 a day each and you'll also have to pay extra for parking, another €17 a night, which is free right outside the hotel.
We arrived, and check-in was easy, friendly staff.
We were in room 210, overlooking the ski run, but right above the restaurant, in the morning, you can hear scraping of chairs by staff at 6.30 am onwards.
We were there for 4 nights but came home after 3.
The hot breakfast was never hot, It was great if you liked yoghurt and croissants, but that was it, certainly not 4 stars.
We made a complaint that our room was cold, the thermostat said it was 24 but it certainly wasn't.
We were told by the staff that it's a computerised system and it was set to 23.
Our room was not 23, so much so we slept in thermals.
The next day, we complained again to the manager that our radiators had never been on.
She said the same thing, I asked her in the morning to accompany me to our room to feel that the room was cold.
She agreed, and then she said she would get maintenance to sort the situation out.
This was not done until late that evening. By his time, we took our skis back a day early as our ski gear was still soaked. as we decided that after a cold room, without even offering a different room, we had had enough.
We complained to booking, who contacted the hotel, the manager said that the heating was working perfectly well, and infact lied to booking.
The manager knew the heating had a problem, and when we asked for a refund for the night, we weren't going to stay in the hotel it was refused.
It was totally unacceptable by the management, it was €571 for 4 nights, so it was not a cheap hotel.
I would never stay here again, the food was terrible and this is nowhere near a 4-star hotel.
You have been warned.

Nothing
Everything - we couldn't sleep during the night. The bed was uncomfortable. One of your worked had a day off and got drunk in the bar downstairs - we paid for our drinks 29€ and couldn't enjoy it as your worker was too rude and disrespectful to us. Reception was unbelievably slow we were waiting to check in for very ling time at least 30min.. The price is to high for your hotel. The worst service.

Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception and in a restaurant, good breakfast and dinner choices, lots of parking.
Not much of a view from my room.

When it comes to access to the mountain, Ushuaia is the best. Directly next to the hotel is a 6 man Ski lift that takes you directly from the hotel to the Ski schools, restaurants and various Ski lifts for access around the entire Vallnord Pal-Arinsal Area.
Additionally there is a ski run that stops at the side of the hotel meaning you can literally Ski back to the hotel.
Transport links are also superb. The bus from Toulouse airport stops directly outside the hotel and the L7 bus which also stops at the bus stop outside the hotel make access to the rest of the town and to the Andorran capital Andorra la Vella convenient and easy. (Tickets cost around 4 Euro return).
The hotel has a SANT MORITZ equipment rental store, outside, in essence in the basement which supplies everything you may need and is also part of the Arinsal.co.uk package for rental equipment.
The hotel itself was excellent value for money. The rooms were spacious and minimalist, providing all the space we needed for our equipment. The rooms were incredibly clean, as was the bathroom, the hot water and pressure in the showers was excellent and the rooms were always warm with multiple radiators for drying equipment.
One complain would be the breakfast. During the beginning and mid week the breakfast buffet was a little lacklustre, possibility reflecting the reduced number of guests. At the weekend the options improved dramatically with shashuka, sausages and a full cooked breakfast on offer. However there was always a great spread of continental, warm food, fruit, cereal and pastries on offer.
Additionally, the open layout meant that nay loud sounds in the central area were easily Hurd in all rooms. However, this was seldom an issue.
Also, the convenience of mountain access comes at a slight cost. The town of Arinsal is around a 10 minuet walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend this as the food and drinks on offer in the town provide many more options than the hotel.
