Location

Poor customer service. First, when I arrived, I was designated to a wrong room - which was recently used by another guest. Second, upon my arrival, I was notified about a 100USD (or 2200 mexican pesos) deposit that I wasn´t notified about before - and which I gave it right away and in USD cash (I have a photo of me giving it to the adminstrator employee). Third, I tried to contact the administrator (Mrs. Gelsy) 3 days in advance before my departure, to notify about my early leaving, and to arrange a best way to have this "deposit" delivered back. She said she was in Cozumel and could not deliver it on time. Gave me the option to make a bank deposit. I accepted this alternative when I contacted another administrator through whatsapp message. So far, after 8 days of my departure, I haven´t received this deposit back. After all, I can say that I did not had a satisfatory experience with this apartment and do not recommend it to others booking.com users.

When we showed up to check-in, we received a message that there was a problem with our initial booking. The property manager was very accommodating and prompt to find us another property in the area for us to stay. It ended up being a massive upgrade and we were very happy. We appreciated how the property manager dealt with the entire situation, she was very friendly and we were very grateful for her help. Definitely enjoyed our stay and although we can't speak for this specific property, we enjoyed dealing with the host & would recommend to others.

It would have been nice to get more of a heads up but it all worked out in the end.

loved the location close to the dolphins and felt very safe for a solo female traveler. they had a full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, and a big bed and balcony.

the shower head wasn’t clean, and you only get about a minute of lukewarm water and then it’s cold. the walls are so thin you can hear everything! the freeway next door, the neighbors screaming and fighting, the bars way down the road with their loud music, and the construction doors swinging open and shut all night. I did bring ear plugs, so that helped a bit, but it’s loud.

Puerto Aventuras is a nice place

It was a really bad experience staying in this apartment. here is what happen: First of all, the owner just doesn't seem to care about the condition of the apartment. The furnitures are cheap and has issues, they are not clean and there are stains in many places. There is no "thought" behind this apartment. some of the kitchen cabinet doors just do not open, some of them are stuck. its a mess. Then, the entire apartment is full with ants! (and 3 types at least - small ants, big ants and real small ones). in the end of the vacation we felt like we were inching all the time. One night our neighbors started to play loud music at 4:30 am... the host did not answer until the morning. But the worst part is.... there was a an electric power outage several times. One time it was more than 15 hours and we were lucky it was in the end of our stay... and we just checked out. we had: No electricity, no air conditioner, no water, no way to boil the mineral water we had, no shower or even toilet(!!!), for 15 hours! (and more) Just so you could understand how it felt: in the last morning, I woke up, grabbed one of the glasses in order to clean it and drink, only to find out that the entire glass is covered with ants. So i went to wash the glass... just to remember there is no water in the apartment! Luckily we just checked out. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay there. Puerto Aventuras is a nice place, you can find much better place to stay.

The word ‚luxury‘ is misleading... First appartment i‘ve ever seen without a mirror!:)))

New Property, Clean

They didn't have internet/ connection information so we spent our own money to connect the internet service through Cell Phones. There is no Toilet brush, potato piler and we had to ask for cups for coffee. The hot water heater is in the Kitchen Cabinet and very small that's why there is not enough hot water available if you have a family with you. There were no curtains by the kitchen area and took em 3days for them to cover the windows for privacy. The pictures of the property are looking good but do not expect you will have that property in front of the pool! They will give you one of the available seams.
