Monica is a very nice person and her colleague on reception on the day I checked out was also friendly and good-natured. The bed was comfortable. There were shelves and cupboards. There was a kettle and a fridge in a kitchen for all guests.

This is a good hotel but staying in a hotel is always a lottery unless you're lucky enough to be a deep sleeper. I was once again unfortunate to be woken up by an inconsiderate guest closing his door loudly several times during the night. This is not the hotel's fault of course! It's horrible how much we have to rely on people being unselfish and how many people aren't unselfish. The fitted sheet was too small and old and kept coming loose, I had to readjust it several times, which was annoying. It's just a case of buying a new one (which will hopefully be a better fit).

The room was extremely cold. We had a door to a terrace which didn't close. In addition, the shower didn't work and the bathroom was dirty. A very poor stay for a very high price.

Good for a night, the room has a decent size and it’s clean. There is a taxi stand in front of the Hostal if you need to go to the bus station early in the morning

Be aware of the bad location, there is nothing around the Hostal and if you want to go to the nice areas of Salta it’s at least a 20min walk. The road in front of the place is super busy and it’s loud all night long. the Kitchen is barely equipped, it’s impossible to cook in this kitchen
