Ofrece 190 m2 renovados en 2014/15 y habitaciones decoradas con buen gusto para hasta 8 personas. Todas las salas de estar y dormitorios tienen vistas al Rin y la naturaleza virgen en el lado opuesto del Rin.
En tres plantas hay una sala de estar y comedor con 38 m2, una cocina totalmente equipada, 5 dormitorios, 2 baños grandes, 1 aseo, 2 balcones grandes, una sala para el almacenamiento seguro de sus bicicletas, lavadora, secadora, acceso gratuito a internet.
La acogedora casa de vacaciones está perfectamente equipada para familias o grupos pequeños. Es el punto de partida ideal para caminatas, recorridos en bicicleta, paseos en barco, degustación de vinos y muchas atracciones turísticas. Pero también puede relajarse aquí durante todo el año en paz y extensamente. La gran sala de estar, las amplias habitaciones y los dos grandes balcones invitan a desconectar y relajarse. Observe los barcos que pasan, las muchas aves acuáticas, o recuéstese en una tumbona en el balcón superior e invisible y tome el sol. Lea un buen libro (encontrará una excelente selección en la casa) y disfrute de una copa de vino en el balcón a la luz de la luna por la noche.
A poca distancia hay una tienda del pueblo, varios restaurantes y el muelle de embarque.
La casa ha sido equipada por nosotros para que se sienta completamente cómodo y también se le proporcionen cosas cotidianas como yesos y herramientas de costura.
Por la mañana, puede ser mimado con panecillos frescos.

My family, which consisted of three children, mother in law, husband, and myself stayed at this property in late February into early March. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own rooms and the ground level living was great for my mother in law who can't do a lot of stairs. The kitchen was mostly equipped to cook for our large group but could have benefited from a few more pans for baking and more knives to cut meat at dinner. The living room with dining room was nice and big for a large group and we loved the balcony out from the dining room and the upper bedrooms. The heat worked great. The hot water was nice and hot on the top floor but we couldn't get much warm water in the ground level bathroom. Neighborhood is quiet, nice area to have kids play, and walking path along the river is great. Small off street parking area. House does echo a lot in the stairway so you should try to be quieter in that area. Information binder was only in German so make sure to have a translator app to take a picture of the pages if you do not speak German. Plenty of towels, beds were comfy, and plenty of storage for clothes in each room. FYI, roads leading up to the house are very narrow. Overall we liked this home and thought it was a good value. We would rent here again if in the area.

We had a wonderful time at our stay in Spay. The location is idyllic, right on the Rhine River. Nice playground for a 2 yr old, just down the street (helped keep him busy during the day). This is a well situated house, and allowed us to easily explore the area by boat, bike, train, and car. Lots of bedrooms on several stories, so it provided our family lots of space to spread out. Towels and bedding provided by the host - which was nice! The hosts were easy to contact with any question.
Great place to stay - I would highly recommend.

We stayed here for three nights in late June 2023. 5 adults and one teen loved this home—lots of space with everything we needed including comfortable beds and bedding. The washer and dryer were a plus since we are traveling around Germany from the USA. We ate at the Flair Hotel Alter Posthof, a 5-minute walk two nights in a row. It is THAT good. Get reservations if you want to sit in the beer garden. Other reviews complained of the noise of the trains and river boats but I'm afraid I have to disagree. It was quiet and peaceful. We slept with the windows open and were in heaven. We shopped at nearby Rewe and Lidl/Aldi and had wine and cocktails every evening on the deck overlooking the Rhine. We found an excellent bakery nearby (a short drive) for breakfast. Lots of fun with the ducks and geese and the friendly neighbors and dogs. It was warm while we were here but the breeze flowing through the house was marvelous. Wonderful house, great location -- 8-minute walk to train station -- if we are ever back near Spay we will be sure to stay here again. I highly recommend this host and house.

Great communication from owner. we had to delay our stay for 2 years due to covid lockdowns, owner was happy to move our reservation at no extra charge. House on the river front perfect for our stay. Loved every minute.

Prima huis, zeker als je veel weg bent, zoals wij
Met familie met 60+ leeftijd de Rheinsteig gewandeld. Was prima. Wennen aan de treinen' s nachts. Slaapkamer boven aan zijkant is warm in de nacht. Keuken mag met wat betere keukenmessen worden ingericht. Deksel theepot zat niet meer goed vast; viel telkens.

Familienurlaub über das verlängerte Pfingstwochenende
Das "Haus am Fluss" ist ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus für mehrere Personen. Direkt am Rhein und der Uferpromenade gelegen, sorgt es für Entspannung und Erholung. Durch die vielen Schlafmöglichkeiten und auch durch die zwei Bäder hatte jede Familie einen Rückzugsort. Das Frühstück bzw. Abendessen bei offenem Panoramafenster war unser tägliches Highlight. Das Haus ist wirklich top ausgestattet. Nicht nur in der Küche fehlt es an nichts, auch in Sachen Kinderspielzeug ist sehr viel vorhanden.

Super Wochenende erlebt
Tolles Objekt, super Lage. Komplett ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Ein-und Auschecken völlig easy. Sehr nette Kommunikation mit Vermieter und Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Es war für uns ein rundum gelungener Kurzurlaub mit lieben Freunden in sehr schöner Umgebung und einer sehr empfehlenswerten Unterkunft.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit super Ausblick auf den Rhein. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Matratzen auch alle gut bis auf eine im Kingsitzebett., die war Brett hart! Alles alles in allem für uns 5 Sterne!

Super Lage am Rhein
Die Lage war einzigartig.
Ausstattung: alles vorhanden. Wir haben sogar Kuchen gebacken.
Anlaufschwierigkeiten gab es nur beim Heizen (hatten wir aber schnell im Griff)

We hebben een schitterende vakantie gehad. Het huis was fantastisch met 3 woonlagen. Ideaal voor 2 gezinnen. Mooi uitzicht over de Rijn.
De omgeving verkennen binnen een week is eigenlijk te kort. De wandelroutes in de buurt zijn ook aan te bevelen.
Helaas een beperkt aantal restaurants in het dorp waarvan de kwaliteit niet hoog aangeschreven is.

Ferien direkt am Rhein
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber! Liebevoll gestaltete Zimmer und ein fantastischer Blick auf den Rhein. Nur leider funktionierten die Nachtspeicheröfen nicht so, wie gesollt ( oder es wurde anders kommuniziert). Für den Holzofen gab es zwar Holz aber weder Anzünder noch Papier zum anfeuern. Bei sehr kalten Temperaturen könnte es kühl werden.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal.

A Wonderful Vacation Spot!
This was a really nice place to vacation. The house is literally on the bank of the Rhine river with beautiful views. The balcony has a four-panel glass door that can be opened completely. We did this every day, even when the weather was a little cool, to enjoy watching the river flow. Yes, there is frequent boat and barge traffic passing and the trains are running across the river every five to ten minutes but we felt the activity only emphasized the commercial importance of this river. Yes, the sound travels well across the river to the house, even at night, but we found it just added to the charm of the place.
Our traveling party was seven adults, three couples and one single. We all found the house comfortable and not confining. The neighborhood is very quiet and the walking paths along the river are extensive. I can heartily recommend this place.

Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und direkt am Fluss. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viel zu sehen. Es wird auf jeden Fall nicht langweilig. Sehr nette Vermieter. Alles in allem top.

A very nice property. Short drive to Koblenz, about an hour to Cologne. The local castles were wonderful, Stolzanfels and Marksburg, well worth a visit. The Christmas markets were very nice too. Went to Cologne and Koblenz. The property was well equipped, lots of plates, glasses etc. Ate at one of the local restaurants in Spay - Zur Marksburg - very nice food. Would definitely come back and stay again.
