The nine adults, two children, and two black lab sisters enjoyed a wonderful long Labor Day weekend. Perfect set-up in house, on deck, on lawn, on swings, on beach and in the water. I highly recommend this property.

Our family of 9 adults and 1 dog thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach house. There was plenty of space to spread out and the thoughtful touches and amenities are plentiful (even for our dog!) We all slept very well each night. We enjoyed taking turns cooking meals in the kitchen and eating together around the dining table. The deck, kayaks, dock, fire pit, view of the lake… all made for wonderful memories outdoors. LuAnn is incredibly responsive and kind — I truly enjoyed my interactions with her. We’d certainly recommend this home for other families!

I hesitate to right a great review only because it was so wonderful we want to go back next year. While not a huge mansion this house is very well set up for families or even several couples. Great functional kitchen. Great big deck. We are outside all week. Nice sock and small Sand area. Water toys included. 12 of us we very comfortable. Lake Michigan is a short drive or boat ride.

Our family was unfamiliar with Michigan when planning our trip. We chose maple beach house because of the location on the lake and kid friendly yard. It was beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. The kids had plenty to keep them busy including the tree swing, game room, dock/lake and large yard (yard games and toys provided). We used the fire pit every night. There were plenty of activities off the property as well, including, Lake Michigan beaches, sand dunes, dune rides, light house, eatery's, water park, etc. LuAnn was very responsive with answering questions and offering information. She made the planning of our family vacation simple and stress free. Her house was clean, very spacious and provided a lot of amenities. I highly recommend maple beach house for your stay!

This home has been carefully decorated with tasteful furnishings that make it a very comfortable and welcoming place! It is especially suitable for families with their own grown children, and grandchildren. We had 9 people, with plenty of room, and space to spread out when we were inside. There were also comfortable gathering spaces, like the large dining table, and the family room and den. Bedrooms were nicely furnished. The towels and beach towels provided were of high quality, and plentiful. In our experience of 12 years of vacationing, we have not found another vacation home with as many things provided in the kitchen, bath, and laundry! The owner was exceptionally good at communicating with us, and she provided several recommendations that made our stay even more memorable! The sandy beach was large and heavily used by our children, along with a large, new rectangular pool (for splashing and playing in the water–rather than getting into the lake. The nearby beach on Lake Michigan was excellent for wading when the wind was low and the waves were safe. The deck and swing were certainly enjoyed, and there were treasures to be discovered on the lake (think bald eagles and swans, as well as interesting properties). It was especially nice that we had the option to rent a pontoon boat for a day. In our experience, this owner takes great care to provide an excellent vacation home for her guests. She regularly improves features, too, & worked to meet our needs!

Stayed with 14 people, plenty of room. Beautiful views and great outdoor areas to relax. Lake was great and the fishing was too.

My family fell in love with this property. The owner is amazing and you have everything you can need. Lots of space for my 17 family members. We got to spread out and have a mini section of the house. My kids/nieces/nephews were not bored with all the activities (kayak, fishing, beach, swimming, swinging, air hockey, foosball, pool, games, etc). This property is beautiful and you will not regret renting it for your families next getaway.

This house was the perfect setting for our lake getaway with family - very clean, absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with anything we could have wanted. The host went above and beyond my expectations with communication and making everything perfect for our stay. I couldn’t be happier with this experience.

This was a great stay overall. Communication with owner was awesome! She answered any and all questions and went above and beyond communicating. There were 10 adults in our group and 9 children ranging from 3-16. Everyone found something to do and enjoyed the stay. Well stocked, clean and lots of extras!

Had a family birthday party with 14 total for a long weekend. Kids had a blast fishing off the dock and had the weather would have been better there are a ton of water toys to use. New Weber grill was great and overall everyone had a great time. Would love to go back.

This property was very suitable for our family gathering. Within our family we had 5 small groups of 2 or 3 and each had their own space for sleeping. The living space was adequate even if the weather required inside only, but we had beautiful weather and spent most of our time outside on the huge deck, waterfront and play space for the kids, including the basement game area for all. LuAnn has made sure that the property is VERY well equipped with supplies and amenities well beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this property for a large gathering and "memory making" fun!!

Our extended family had a terrific time. Plenty of space inside and outside for adults and kids. The two living rooms is a must for a large group like ours--a space for kids to watch their shows and the other for the adults. Plenty of dining space indoors and outdoors. Basement game room a hit with the teens and adults as well. Host was attentive and super responsive to questions.

Great location on White Lake. Lots of lake frontage, beach area for the kids, huge yard, lots of bedrooms and space for our extended family to spread out. Manager, LuAnn, was great to work with.

Excellent location with large lot. Which, in turn, gave amazing privacy on a busy and crowded lake. Great deck and more than ample room for our large family.

LuAnn our host was fabulous. Communicated during the year with any questions that I had. We were a large group; ranging in ages from 83 to 5 years old. The house and beach were nicely kept and we had a fabulous time. Thank you LuAnn you were a phenomenal hostess! We would stay at this property again!

Three of my children and their families from three different states joined me for a wonderful week. The house met our needs and the lake experience was great. Our hostess was very helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Not only was the location amazing, but the house was everything we hoped for from furnished, large outside deck, fire pit, swim pad and fishing dock! Inside large kitchen well equipped, dual living spaces and tasteful bedrooms/baths made vacation not only fun but lent room for relaxing!

We had an amazing week at Maple Beach House! The location is very private, yet close to Montague and Lake Michigan, but we spent a majority of our trip at the property. We enjoyed the beach area, views of White Lake, backyard activities, and the spacious deck. There are plenty of things to do at Maple Beach House as well as there are a lot of places to visit in the area. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make meals at the house. There was plenty of space for 16 of us to enjoy a comfortable vacation and simply hang out. LuAnn is a great host, and made sure that we were comfortable, and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Maple Beach House.

My extended family of 17 stayed at the house for a week in early June. The house was great and the location right on the lake is beautiful. We used the tubes and kayaks multiple times as well as the fire pit every night - wood provided! It is only a mile to the town of Montague and there are sidewalks the entire way so we were able to walk there and back. It was a wonderful trip and we plan on returning!

Had a family of 10 and slept comfortably. Love the location. Lou Ann was a wonderful host that made sure we had everything we needed to do and know. Caught a lot of fish off of the dock. Rented a pontoon boat from Jon at dunes shore boating and they were very accommodating. He brought the boat right up to the dock and picked the boat up as well. Great place to stay

Nice piece of property! The house was great! Owner is very responsive to questions and very accommodating! Just about anything you can think of was provided!! The whole process from booking to check in, to check out was seamless. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again!!

Our vacation at the Montague house was fantastic. The property was beautiful, the house had everything we needed with plenty of room and the owner, LuAnn is simply amazing. We would highly, highly recommend this property to others!! All of us had a great time, especially our nights around the firepit. We will be back soon.

We had a great time!! The home was perfect inside and out!! From the nice large deck/ large private waterfront to the really nice six bedrooms, two living rooms, three bathrooms, gameroom and more!! LuAnn was always available to answer any questions we had. We can't wait to come again next year!
