I wrote a longer review on Google that exceeded the character limit here but wanted to provide a synopsis of our wedding week at the location. - property was gorgeous but his property next door takes away from it’s beauty - fire pit is on his property so we didn’t want to use it - property owner fined us $500 on our wedding day because my husband smoked on the porch then threatened to shut the wedding down until he got paid - treated one of our vendors incredibly poorly because they parked in the driveway when they were supposed to call him upon arrival - made a statement about the pool looking like it had been slashed by a knife and he was going to check cameras (my son used the pool once for a very short period of time) Again, this is just a brief synopsis of our 4 day stay and I would highly recommend reading my longer, more detailed review prior to booking especially if it’s for the biggest day of your life.

Lovely location, accommodating & responsive host. Communication was excellent. Michael was very helpful in getting us settled in as well as offering local recommendations & assistance with the pool & hot tub. We were able to sleep 14: 4 people in 2 bedrooms & 6 in the 3rd. It was close quarters, but worth it to spend the holidays together.

Overall a decent experience. House was just like expected. There were no directions on how to use anything, so the first night we were not able to swim (too cold) or use the hot tub. The owner did change that the following morning though. My friend did stay one night, and where it said guests were $25 a day, I suppose I miss understood, because I had to pay $25 a day for every night I was there even though she didn’t stay the duration. Luckily I was only there for 3 nights and not a whole week. And lastly, one thing that concerned me as I was sitting there with my daughter the Alexa echo came on and stated it was “owners name” testing. It made the rest of the stay a little uneasy.

Located in an amazing location - so close to everything, but very secluded. Mark was very easy to communicate with and even left us breakfast for the first morning! Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it is much larger than it appears in pictures. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a reasonable accomodation in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

We came to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and this place was perfect. Owner gave us a warm welcoming. House was clean,the outside was great for kids. Owner helped us prepare the backyard and was very nice to us. when we came into the house we were greeted by a full fruit basket and breakfast croissants! We had a great weekend. Thank you Michael!!!

Shhhh…this is a hidden gem. We needed a base for some medical appointments we had in Lakewood Ranch traveling from SC. Michael was the perfect host of an amazing laid back beautiful hidden home. Very large comfortable accommodations nestled in beautiful live oaks and greenery near to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Having your own pool and hot tub was an amazing and relaxing way to end our busy days. Full kitchen and eating area made you feel you were at home. Comfortable beds…very clean. Thank you Michael for a perfect stay. We will be back!!!

The property was located convenient to grocery stores/restaurants, and beaches. Worked perfect for our large group. And host was excellent.

We stayed at this property from 7-14 to 7-18. The house was really nice, it came with alot of essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, condiments, seasonings. The pool was really nice as well as the jacuzzi. The property was beautiful and it was so peaceful to set out on the deck. Michael was amazing he came gave me a tour and made sure I knew where everything was and that whatever was there we could use and there was no need to ask. He had a Mango tree that he allowed me to get some mangos off of and I was very grateful for that because mango is my favorite fruit. The stay was perfect!!

I stayed for 3 nights with friends and the owner is absolutely nuts. After booking the property, the owner added a ton of rules & fees that were not disclosed previously. Such as the owner charging for every tiny thing including number of guests/visitors per day, the pool/hot tub per day per person, per dog per pound per day. Not to mention he lives on the same property and will come over randomly. Also, the owner watched cameras to see how many people were over before returning my security deposit (since number of guest/visitors are limited). I would advise to not stay here and stay somewhere else.

Loved our stay at this perfect property! We travelled for a baseball tournament and this house was perfectly located between baseball parks, the beach and activities. Everything we needed was there and plenty of extras too.

Amazing location, the yard is big, plently of birds. So peaceful, and so close to everything. So nice to go to the pool and hot tub right after work. Wonderful host, very helpful and friendly. Will be back for sure.

Michael’s place was perfect for having a small get-together to celebrate the coming of my daughter’s baby. Would definitely recommend this place for personal stay or for events.

We had 4 people stay and had a wonderful amount of room. Everything seemed to have been supplied for our stay, more than we would have wanted and more than we could have used for our short stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grove (22min drive) we also made it to the Ringaling Museum (15min drive) Fantastic grocery store (detwilers) within walking/biking distance (2min drive) near plenty of shopping/ a busier main road (University) BUT the property is so secluded and quiet we felt like we were the only ones around for miles. Walk the property, it’s so scenic! We had fantastic weather (last week of March) it was very breezy on the top deck and we spent most of our time there The showers were spacious AND had plenty of room for all your own toiletries The water has a softener on it so the shower is refreshing but make sure to lay down the mats provided. My one suggestion: hand held shower heads the kind with the hose? Property had PLENTY of towels/washcloths! The property even supplied a 5gal water cooler dispenser!

We had a wonderful time with family in a lovely secluded location that was just minutes from shopping and grocery needs. The house was well stocked and were welcomed with a continental breakfast of muffins, fruit, and orange juice. Our dog loved walking the beautiful paths on the property.

Michael is a terrific host. His place was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The property is very private yet also very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay!

Large property - plenty of things to do in and around house. Dogs loved it as well.

We love the quiet seclusion that this property offered. But more so, Michael, the owner, is fantastic. Anything we needed was a text away. inside of the home was very comfortable and spacious. He left a yummy little breakfast for us. If you are looking for a secluded quiet getaway, this is the place.

The location was good, lots of land and privacy and everything we needed was there.

We really enjoyed our stay. Michael was a great host! He gave us some great suggestions on places to visit, including a beach known for finding sharks teeth and then provided my kids with the tools to do so. He also had other beach gear (chairs, cooler, beach towels, sand toys ) for us to use. We arrived at the house and he had the lights on for us and had provided some breakfast items which was a very appreciated touch. The kids wished they had had more time to just hang out at the house and swim in the pool but we did fill our days being out and about. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and the beds slept great. My four kids also liked each having their own bed. Michael was quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was nice as it was close to many restaurants and a grocery store but then felt secluded enough with the large front yard and large forested back yard that had a walking trail through it. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Very nice vacation other than the weather! Amazed at the beds and bedding and the concern Michael showed for our comfort. Basic necessities all provided and plentiful. Enjoyed the hot tub!

Michael is a super host. He was very attentive and cordial. The property is about two acers and its full of trails and nature. It was truly a tropical scape.

Such a beautiful property and friendly host. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything from the fresh fruit and muffins waiting for us upon our arrival to having the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful area made for a perfect weekend birthday celebration!

Apart from the rental being spotless, the property stunning & tranquil, and the kitchen having everything you could ever think of - and probably even more things you wouldn't - Michael was beyond accomodating! Excellent communication and very generous. He went above and beyond by picking me up from the airport and even let me borrow some essentials (dishes, silverware etc.) after my stay to ease my transition into my supposed-to-be-furnished (but unfortunately not) rental. As I have just moved to Sarasota for work, it gives me a great sense of comfort to know that there are people like Michael living in this area. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you so much for everything!

Could not have picked a better place. Perfect location close to everything yet private with a secluded feel. Mike is truly a super host! Can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the house was clean had everything you would need. The property is private with lots of trees but still close to everything. The host Michael was super accommodating and communication was great. We will definitely stay here again.
