House is great. Only complaint is there are three rentals on the property. And the fire pit and hot tub are shared. The oyster house is the main house and is amazing....

The view is great. Was bummed that the beach has no access. It's private. But the view was amazing and peaceful...amazingly quiet at night.

The barking dog next-door that was constant and the construction was going on the other side of the house. Made for a very non-quiet stay

The microwave oven was very tricky to use While we pressed the buttons Sometimes it would get switched on And sometimes it showed some F12 message

We loved the house, AC was awesome. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We used the fire pit, good location and privacy

I didn't know how to get to the beach. Having a more clearer definition of how to get there would be nice. I tried email but did not get a response.

Very beautiful and comfortable home in the cute town of Coupeville on Whidbey Island. Gorgeous view of Penn Cove from the property. The Oyster House is the top level of the cabin. There is another unit downstairs which wasn't totally clear when I booked this -- there was some noise from the neighbors when watching their TV at night. The hot tub was also perfect! It was hot, and in working order, plus it is under a trellis that protects you from the PNW weather. The birds were also fun to watch from the deck. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The master bathroom was so cool!! Very modern with heated floors and a towel warmer!! That was beyond my expectation. The beds were super comfortable. Kitchen has all needed amenities too.
The private beach is a short walk from the home (you can also drive, there is a spot to park at the end of the road). Watch out in low tide as some of the mud flats are almost like quick sand! I found that out the hard way.

Overall, fantastic stay and I would come back again!

The only thing that was annoying was the interface between Booking.com and Vacasa vacation rentals -- which is a whole other site like AirBnb. First my credit card was declined, then when I called Vacasa I was talking with the agent for over 30 mins and they were moving like sloths! I didn't understand there was some "checking" process -- not sure if they checked my credit or what it was but I ended up having to call back because it was taking so long. When I called back I had to "sign" a rental agreement and that was when they did a check on me to make sure I was ok I guess???? It was finally all worked out but it was a little strange. Once I was verified they sent me text messages along the whole stay so that was nice.

I thought it superb. Every time I needed something, be it cleaning supplies, a wine opener, coffee filters, etc, it was right where I thought it should be. Extremely well thought out, and very nicely supplied. The abode was lovely and the view fabulous.

It could use laundry facilities and some way to dispose of trash.
