The pictures of this house and the views do not describe the beauty nor the graciousness of the host. Lindsey quickly responded to all my questions both before and during our vacation week in Malibu. I was there with 4 of my girlfriends celebrating my 60th and I am just so grateful that I chose this exact location. aside from the amazingly well-stocked and comfortable house and views that it provides, the location was ideal for what we wanted. Lindsey had made recommendations for restaurants, hikes, yoga, shopping and beaches. We used some of these and some provided by personal friends who live in the area. We had some downtime and stayed pretty busy during the days. It was perfect! I have Lindsey to thank for allowing us to stay in her home and neighborhood in a gorgeous part of our country. It was an unforgettable time!!

Lindsay and Trevor’s home provides a magnificent expanse overlooking the ocean with canyons on each side. The house is a private oasis tucked away with the most spectacular gardens of natural plantings and sitting areas. The house is well maintained with stunning views and windows from every room. We come to Malibu to spend extended time with our family. Our adult sons and nieces enjoy visiting while we host family dinners. Everyone walks away in awe of the breathtaking scenery. This was our third summer renting and will continue to do so! Love it!

Heaven on Earth is the most accurate description. You feel enveloped with warmth the minute you step foot on the property. This place has soul! The breathtaking views, meticulous and luscious gardens to the warmth and coziness of the well appointed house. You simply could not ask for more serene getaway. So lovely that you don't even want to leave to go explore Malibu.

House is perfect - so comfortable, well equipped, incredible kitchen, quiet street, lots of privacy, gorgeous garden and amazing views of the ocean. Every amenity possible was considered, and available, from beach necessities to the well appointed chefs’ kitchen. The check in process was easy and communication was prompt. This was our second extended visit and it was perfection. The house is beautiful and stocked with everything one could ever need. The grounds are gorgeous and impeccably maintained. I will never forget the stunning views from the deck. Our family was so comfortable, from outdoor dining on the deck to relaxing and enjoying the shade in the beautiful gardens, complete with a hammock. Not a bland, where are we again, white box. This is a family home with all the books, art, stories, and personality that tell you exactly where you are, which made it feel like home and enhanced our stay. The gracious amenities supplied by the hosts were lovely and considered, such as drinks, snacks, and treats for the dog. The hosts responded immediately to any questions. Nearby beaches, superb dining, and an incredible neighborhood. I feel I've lived in Malibu, not just visited, and isn't that what travel is about? Our family hopes to be your guests again soon. My husband and I booked this home, having hunted the internet and having clicked on dozens of houses. We've booked 5 times in Malibu and would have booked here again in an instant but it was full on our next dates. This home is everything the photos show and more. Jump to the next section for the "more." What you get as pictured: ocean views, 3 beautiful bedrooms each with an ocean view, a well stocked kitchen, a stunning garden with lovingly done landscaping and gigantic succulents, lots of places to sit outside, sky and mountain views, a well stocked kitchen, a sweet sitting area just off the kitchen, outdoor lounging, dining, etc. What is NOT pictured: The love and care that exudes from every corner of this home: the creative books (this is a haven for artists/writers/filmmakers); the beautifully chosen art on the walls, the choice of colors and fabrics; the elegant kind note that Lindsay left for us when we arrived along with a basket of treats; high quality back up food items in the pantry in case we needed them and a fridge with a variety of speciality drinks; the comfort of the master bed (oh my goodness that bedding!); the SMELL of honeysuckle when you lie in the hammock (I'm not at all a hammock person, and I literally blocked time in my days to sit there because it was so special), the sense of being in nature away from everyone. It was very hard to leave this home. This is a gem of a rental, and it was a privilege to stay there. THANK YOU, Lindsay & Trevor.

All 5 stars for this Malibu home? Without a doubt. If I could give more than 5 stars, this wonderful home has earned them. Location, comfort, well maintained, beautiful garden, cleanliness…this home has it all and more. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and there are plenty of blankets, towels etc. The kitchen is well done and has everything you need. The library and living room are marvellous spaces for a family to spend time in or for a lovely, quiet read. The blinds and curtains are great and the bedrooms are dark enough for a good sleep. Nothing is in disrepair. Even the grout in the bathrooms is clean. The house feels good too. It is bright, cheerful and has a great energy to it. You cannot help but be happy if you are lucky enough to stay here.

This is one of the best rentals we have had. It is the best of Malibu with its views, sounds of the ocean and tranquility. As other guests have noted, it is even better than the pictures can portray. Trevor and Lindsay are welcoming, helpful and generous with their lovely home. We can't say enough in regards to how much we enjoyed our stay. It was perfect.

This is our second time renting this property. The house is the perfect base for us in the LA area. It is very comfortable, the property is private with meticulously cared-for gardens, and the hosts are very accessible. Highly recommended.

This was our second time staying at this property over the past two years, and we were just as impressed the second time - maybe even more, it was like "coming home." Lindsay and Trevor are the most gracious of hosts and go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome with special treats to greet them. The home is immaculate and even more impressive than the photos. We had perfect weather and loved enjoying the beautiful views of the canyon and ocean out front, the mountains in back, and the lovely, whimsical gardens around the house. We are back in Minnesota, but as children of the 60's, we are still "California Dreamin' !" Thanks Lindsay and Trevor❣️

My wife and I stayed in Lindsay and Trevor's house while we were visiting two of our children who live in the LA area. Our daughter from NYC also joined us for part of our stay. The house was warm and inviting and the views of the ocean and mountains were breathtaking. He house was immaculate and welcoming. We cooked several meals during our visit and the kitchen was very well stocked and wonderful. Lindsay was a very accommodating and friendly host and had prepared a helpful welcome package with usual information about the house and the local area. She had also left a very nice welcoming package for us which we enjoyed. The house was the perfect gathering place for us to spend time with our children and it truly made our trip memorable. We would definitely stay here again!
