Alles was in orde

On arrival lift didn't work very narrow and steep stairs, and very dangerous step without warning when entering flat. The lift was repaired the next day thankfully. This gives you a safer entrance to the flat. Flat excellent location and very clean indeed. But sleeping on a bed with missing supports is no pleasure. It was extremely hot but one of the electric fans stopped working. (Obviously this was unforseen by the owner, but the broken bed frame obvious) Owner is argumentive about the broken bed frame and for that reason can not recommend this place.

Defects to the flat and owner attitude.

We have stayed before in this location : nice renovated appartments, trendy style and well equiped. In te center of Ostend, close to the beachfront. At that time, we had no complaints.

Upon arrival on Thursday, we were surprised to find our appartment occupied by a team of workers maintaining/repairing the elevator (the small elevator immediately gives direct access to the appartments). Obviously we didn't expect this, but as repair team said it would take approx. 1,5 hrs to finish the job, we left our luggage and went out for a while. Returning by 5 Pm, the work stil was't Finished, and at 6 Pm they called it a day, saying they would come back the following day at 8 Am, which we clearly refused, as we would have no privacy at all. We offered to continu for another hour or to come back after the weekend. The next day, we were out for a walk and got called by the Owner at 11 Am, saying we needed to allow the workers Into the flat immediately. When we refused she was extremely rude and shouted she would have the police have us evicted, before she broke Off the Communication. When we returned around 1:30 Pm, de maintenance crew was again in our flat, and it took till 4 Pm before the job was Finished. So for 2 days, we didn't have the normal privacy and peace you might expect when spending a long weekend at the seaside. To make matters worse, on Saturday night, we were repeatedly ( 3 times) woken after midnight by very drunk and agressive people who forgotten the access-code and tried to get Into the building, finding them in the morning asleep on the staircase.

Clean, quiet, spacious. Close to the tram and shopping. Responsive host.

Large bright open spaced kitchen and living room. When you book one or two other flats for your family, you can easily fit everybody around the table and there is plenty of space in the living room too. The balcony on the top floor is perfect for sunny days

It was a very nice appartment near the beach. Sigrid ist aver y nice person!

Unfortunaley it smells a little bit in the appertement because of the restaurant downstairs.
