The property is really central and close to everything, the balcony overlooking the river is lovely. The apartment has basic features, it was clean and overall it was a pleasant stay but due to the noise in the main bedroom I was very tired after my weekend away.
The machine or fan that starts 6am Saturday and Sunday mornings that sounds like a clothes dryer that never ends. The screen door in the main bedroom that banged in the wind all night, meant sleeping past 6am impossible. Overall if you want somewhere you can sleep in, I suggest elsewhere.

The location of this property was ideal. Sitting on the balcony, taking in the view, watching all the activities on the lake - bliss!! And those sunsets?? Magic!
I'm not sure why the sheets and towels were not supplied - this is the first time I've come across this in booking accommodation. It was unusual, but certainly not a deal breaker. This was well communicated in all correspondence though.

It’s all about the view of the estuary…..fabulous! Close to shops, the beach, the boardwalk, and bridge.
There were two flights of steps but worth it for the view. Apartment faces west which was very hot in a heatwave, but the aircon took the edge off the heat.

We didn’t like that there was a extra cost to have sheets on the bed.

It was fun to stay above the shops and next to the lake. The views were excellent and we spent our meals and relaxing time enjoying the birdlife and everything that was happening near the lake. The unit was well designed and the kitchen was great with modern appliances and views - a nice environment to prepare food and choose to eat in! It was a moment to get to shops and restaurants. We went on the Amaroo Cruise which was perfect and took a whole minute to arrive for boarding.
The light well has a step on the middle of the landings and the lights go off quite quickly. A bit tricky. The unit was good for two people but could feel really crowded with more.

Walking distance to restaurants, water. Had everything you needed.
Loved it was equipped with dishwashing liquid and cleaning products to use made it easy to keep clean.
Few stairs to carry up everything. Parking tight to turn.

Definitely felt like it was managed by a real estate compared to hotel accommodation - so many rules I didn’t need because I apply them to my life in general that just made things unpleasant.
Having to pay extra for linen, like you wouldn’t need linen…?
Dealbreaker was the creaking poorly fitted windows that made it impossible to sleep in the main bedroom - I ended up in the single… lucky I had my son stay one night and paid extra for linen in both.
The stairs are many, harsh, loud, dark and awkward, especially when you get to the top carrying everything and have to use both hands to function the locks and door knobs. There are better places for the money. Thanks, but I’ll ask work not to put any of us up here again.

Location in Main Street excellent for shops and restaurants, view from the balcony of the lake fantastic. Secure car parking on the first floor.
Stairs, 3 flights up, never thought to check that before we booked. Being ‘older’ not so fit, people, carrying suitcases, bed linen, pillows, groceries up the stairs was a nightmare. The main queen bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Also the headboard was a noisy metal frame.. May look attractive but totally impractical. Also, no air conditioning but it does have ceiling fans.

Renovation on bathroom and kitchen lovely. Second toilet in laundry. All the comforts of home. Clean and spacious with 2 balconies. Fantastic view. Security parking, easy walking to shops, restaurants and beach. Leave the car and relax
Very noisy. The apartment below and across are permanent young tenants and party all night, so not much sleep. Also street and restaurant noise.
