The house was spacious, clean, well-equipped and perfect for family with 2 children under age 5. The play area in the lower level and playground were used daily. My husband enjoyed shooting hoops on the black top. Dock was great for granddad and granddaughter fishing. We enjoyed the canoe we rented for 5 days. The porch was great for the view of the lake and listening to the amazing variety of birds in the area. Gas grill a plus. Host very responsive and helpful.

This house was perfectly functionsl for our families: fully equipped kitchen, spacious basement, fully furnished bug free deck, boat house, small sandy beach, plenty of shade and THE LAKE within steps! Highly recommending it for a group of 8-12!

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Anna with my Sisters family who were visiting from England. 5 kids from 18months to 10years and all had a fabulous time. Great sized home, fully equipped and no issues. We will def be returning. Great stay.

Perfect Location
Perfect location for bass fishing access all over the lake. Dock is plenty big enough for 2 bass boats. Nice deeper water for swimming in a secluded cove. House is plenty well stocked with just about everything you could need. It does echo a lot in the house so it's tough to get up to fish early without disturbing everyone else.

Ideal spot for families with kids!
This property is fantastic! Clean, roomy and well stocked! The big table is ideal for family dinners and the lower level is a perfect spot for the kids to hang out! We have stayed in both the Summer and now in Autumn and both experiences were great! We can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Perfect House for Families with kids
The house is perfect lake front property that has something for all ages and more than enough space to spread out. The kids play area was perfect since we had 3 under 4 kids.
The screened porch was a favorite place to hang out for adults :)
Located in middle of the lake with deep water off the dock made for good boating.
Only complaint was main TV being in very large open area with 20' ceiling, which made the audio hard to hear. Recommend Sound Bar.
Really like the electronic lock on door eliminated need to pickup key.
Had plenty of linens and towels for long weekend.
Not cheap, but we definitely recommend house

What a beautiful home away from home. It was clean, owners were super hospitable, and the home was in a perfect location. We enjoyed our 8 days and the whole family didn’t want to leave. Thank you for being such a great host!

Great Family Getaway
Our family had an amazing time together. The property has plenty to do for all age groups. The fishing was great at the dock for the little ones, pole in, fish on! We were on paddle boards, kayaks, and floating in tubes. So close to marina to put the boat in and get fresh bait daily. The house is so beautiful and has more than enough room for family game night and great space to separate when needed. Love it and can’t wait to book again!

Family vacation
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The amenities of the house were great and it was very clean. The check in and out out process was so easy. We enjoyed fishing from the peir and it was great being able to launch our kayaks and paddle board from the beach. My young son enjoyed the beach entry and feeding the fish. We would definitely stay again!

Lakehouse
The house was beautiful and clean! Check in and check out so easy. The only disappointment was when I booked this place, one of the reasons I booked it was because of the pictures it showed of the backyard down to the lake and the boathouse and the private beach. It look like in the picture the backyard was more flat and went down to the private beach and the boat house to the right. That wasn’t the case, the boathouse and private beach was to the side of the house and access to it was going down like 50 steps. We rented a pontoon boat, and of course utilized the dock and boat house space that we were allowed to use.

Many pro’s
There are definitely many pro’s to this place. It was by far the cleanest VRBO property we have stayed at and was very well stocked with everything we needed. We traveled with an infant and three year old so the children's play area and children’s items in the house were so helpful to have. We had a lot of rain during our stay so having the screened in porch helped make the trip a good one. Overall, I’d rent here again.

Great place for relaxation
Great place for a big group, there were 12 of us (7 adults and 5 kids, ages 3 - 14) and we didn’t feel cramped. House was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed fishing at the dock, playing basketball at the court and the playground. We brought our bikes and had fun going on those rolling dirt roads! The play area and the pool table in the basement was a plus. There was a nearby place that rented out kayaks and pedal boats which was delivered to the house, so convenient. We will definitely come back.

Great house for families!
Great property - the pictures don’t do it justice! All together we had 4 adults and 5 kids. House was well equipped for little kids (booster seat, baby monitor, bed rail, play space) and the cleanest rental we have stayed in, thank you so much! Especially the floors! Kids loved trying to catch minnows in the beach and fishing off the dock. Overall, definitely would love to come back!

Great Family House
It's a wonderful and accommodating place to stay. We went during a snow so we stayed inside most of the time. Plenty for the kids to do, large to have enough personal space and the kitchen was AMAZING. The neighbors were kind and helpful, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel special. We can't wait to go back!

Great Location and House
We've stayed at Lake Anna multiple times and this is the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen. We enjoyed the ping pong, basketball hoop and swings and close location to pub, restaurants and winery.

Lakeside getaway
I was looking for a few days of r & r and this property totally enabled me to do that. It has an astounding view, even from the living room, which was nice because it was a bit chilly for me to always be put on the screened in patio. I was glad that I brought my own toilet paper and paper towels Because that was not supplied, but otherwise the kitchen had all of the cookware and plates, glasses and mugs needed; they even had juice and wine glasses. Would highly recommend this property

Great house for kids and family
We stayed on a rainy weekend and were happy to have such a fun house to stay in. The basement had lots of toys for 2-8 year olds and a pool table for older kids. The screened in porch is delightful to slow down and the dining is perfect for large groups. The beach was cute but seasonal. The actual lake looks gorgeous - a boat is essential!

Perfect End-of-Summer Getaway
Perfect location for two families with 7 young boys to get away and play for a week. The most well-equipped kitchen I think I've ever encountered in a rental, which made it so easy to cook for our group for the week. Awesome little beach area for small kids and we loved fishing from and jumping off the little dock attached to the boat house. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and it was a wonderfully low-traffic area to be able to enjoy those things without waves or worrying drifting out too far. Our kids enjoyed all the toys and ping pong table and the adults enjoyed some games of pool after the kids went to bed. Overall, a great trip! My 3 year old asked, "Can we stay here forever!" :)
