Bien mantenido apartamento en el 3er piso de planta única que tiene el dormitorio principal en la delantera que le da amplias vistas del Golfo desde la sala de estar y el dormitorio principal! Preciosas nuevos sofás sala de estar, cocina totalmente equipada y un segundo dormitorio que tiene 2 camas individuales. This is a small condo building right on the sand. It was reasonably priced and great for our girls' getaway long weekend. Had everything we needed.

We stayed ( 2 couples) at this property for 5 nights in April 2024. Parking was included but they keep at deposit of $135 for the passes which is refunded at check-out. The ad says newly remodelled but the only thing new in the condo is the 2 sofas. The rest of the Unit is quite outdated. The shower/bath needs update as the water spout in tub almost falls off when you push shower button down and shower head if old. Water pressure and heat was good. Doors to bedrooms are pretty banged up and could use some paint. Stains on living room carpet. The ice maker was frozen and did not work. Previous reviews mention that the cutlery drawer is falling out when pulled....this has not been fixed and could hurt somebody if it falls on your ankles. The best thing about the Unit is that is was extremely well cleaned and smelled fresh ! The air condition works 100%. There were 2 older beach chairs in the storage area for our use. The unit is well equipped for making your own meals including a microwave. Also free WIFI..The unit is well managed by Resort Rentals ...they were quite helpful and responsive to any of our questions. The property itself is also well kept and cleaned daily. The BEST part of our vacation was the beach and the sunset views from the balcony.. WOW...

Positives:
Location, location, location - beautiful spot on the beach.
Property was clean and well stocked.
Lots of beach equipment to use.
Quiet building and very friendly neighbors.
Great parking location.
Master Bed was super comfortable.
Cons:
Outdated - lots of issues that need to be fixed
Water leaked around the shower extension, which probably means it was leaking behind the wall.
The kitchen drawers are all pretty bad, but the third one down kept trying to fall out.
The blinds in the master bedroom were broken, so we had to figure out a way to block out the light since they wouldn't go all the way down - it is turtle season so that was important.
The bed in the 2nd bedroom was very firm, and not comfortable.
The elevator was iffy - sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not which meant lugging suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs.
The biggest con, when you stood in the tub to shower, you could feel the floor swaying under you, kinda scary.
Overall impression - the location was the best, beautiful sunsets and so close to the beach and very quiet. The rental and the building definitely needed some remolding and just basic work. A hurricane had just blown through a few days before, so that probably accounted for the issues with the elevator. The rental agent was great to work with and answered our questions quickly. I probably wouldn't stay at this particular rental again, but it was a nice trip, and I wouldn't discourage anyone else from staying there.

The unit needs updating. Kitchen had very basic items. Third drawer in kitchen still not fixed. Saw this in other reviews as well. Unit had cables running along floors. No fans in bathrooms. Carpet was stained and needs to be replaced.
Would have been nice to have chairs and tables in the pool area and decent grills.

The view of the beach and ocean and access to both beach and pool was excellent Did not realize from the listing that there was no private balcony, which was a little disappointing.
The room was clean but was in dire need of some cosmetic repairs and the carpet definitely needed replaced. I reported a couple problems that needed attention and they came out that day and fixed it. Customer service is awesome. Overall, we had a great time. The sunsets from the balcony was the best it could be

Great area to stay, and right on the beach. Many places close to eat and shop. The kitchen drawers that fall down when opened that were mentioned in previous reviews still weren't fixed. And if your gonna stay for any length of time be prepared to do laundry as there were only 5 sets of towels for the entire stay. At least there is a washer and dryer on the same floor to do them at a cost. The keys and parking tag you pick up at the rental company are very close and easy to get to and return about a mile away. Although the keys are only for the elevator for after hours and the stairs I guess. They don't fit the condo door. It is a programed lock which is nicer than having to find keys, as long as you remember the number. 😁 They are doing some remodeling on the building but we were there Thanksgiving and no one was working at the time. There is a place to spray off your feet when you get off the beach. Would really be nice if there was a hose and sprayer there to rinse the sand off the deck as well since you rinse your feet then have to walk through the sand you just rinsed off. Over all a great place to stay and would go back.

The condo complex and condo 312 are very nice. We had to inquire.about a parking permit that was not provided before the start of our stay. Would love to stay again in that unit.

My first and only complaint is more with the property management group as the process to get all your stay info is a little complex. This is my 5th stay through VRBO and have never come across a system like this. Unfortunately we had changes in our flights that delayed us leaving 12hrs and we didn’t get to the condominium until midnight. I did not realize I had to login to their website to know how to get access to the building as they lock their elevator and stairwell from the outside at a certain time and had a mild panic attack that we would have to sleep in our car the first night. There is no one to get ahold of after hours except a 3rd party that has to try to contact the mgmt group so we felt helpless. Once I dug back through emails and found that I had to go to a website to access information about the property I was able to find that you have to check in with the mgmt group first before going to the location or visit their after hours box to get a packet that contains your elevator key and stairwell keys as well as your parking pass. Like I said this is not something I have come across before in staying through VRBO so more just a heads up for those staying at the condominium as a whole.
This is an older unit and the location of some things was a bit odd. It needs several maintenance updates (top kitchen drawer almost falls out, it’s like it’s not even in a track; wall outlet on the left side of the master bed is very loose and the cover pops off; microwave cabinet doors need to be tightened; smoke alarm did not appear to be working; shower seat in the master appears to be peeling). Be prepared for a giant list of “can’t do’s” from the condominium management as well. Overall our stay in this unit was fine, it’s a quiet and very secure location with million dollar views. The beach access was fantastic and the pool was amazing! The condo also comes equipped with several beach amenities including an umbrella! Large closet spaces and access to washer and dryer on each floor.
My only other complaint has nothing to do with the condo we stayed in, but more of a heads up for those traveling and staying here recent. They are doing building construction and road construction at the same time so be prepared for early wake ups and delays if you’ve got an itinerary.

We come to Sunset Chateau every year and this was our fist time staying in this condo unit. The furniture was comfortable and all our needs were met. Will definitely be looking to stay here in the future.

This is our 18th year of renting a condo at Sunset Chateau. We have rented several units thru the years thru different managers that are no longer managing units. This year the condo was nice. We were very disappointed in the amenities. For instance some of the basics that we have had at previous units. Things like beach towels, decent beach chairs, enough bathroom towels, kitchen towels & trash bags for our 2 week stay. The Adirondack chairs were to big for the balcony. A person had to stand up to let other guests pass by. No information about operating TV's. A maintenance man the came to repair the sink showed us how to operate.

This is our second year at this condo, Sunset Chateau 312. We love the close location to the beach, the pool is well maintained and the property is well kept. Our Condo is fairly well equipped but could be a bit cleaner (carpets need to be cleaned & bedroom door and paint peeling off the Livingroom side) minor compared to the excellent location.

Good vacation week and very nice condo. Resort rentals made everything easy to checkin and checkout. The only items of very minor concern were a few light bulbs were out and the condo owner beach chairs were rusted to the point of not being usable. The resort rental did offer options for the chairs. This was our first time renting with Resort Rentals but, it definitely won't be our last. The condo was great! The master bedroom was enormous and the bed was VERY comfortable. My husband keeps talking about how comfy the pillows were. The walk1in shower in the master bath was great after being on the beach all day. Our two girls LOVED their room and separate beds. This condo had everything we needed except measuring cups we needed for one meal but that was minor. We are most of our meals in since there were two grocery stores within 5-10 minutes of us. Having two bathrooms was a plus since we could have both showers on and hot water wasn't an issue. The only negative is the screen door was literally coming out of the frame exposing nails, but to us it wasn't a big deal since our girls are old enough to know better. MORE THAN AMPLE closet space for over-packers like myself and plenty of storage for groceries and toiletries. On the last couple days the second elevator stopped working, but we took the steps. The pool was perfect and right off the beach.

This was a family vacation with my wife our son and his family. The owner of the condo was kind enough to allow all six of us to stay in their condo. We had a wonderful time and the weather was great. We went to Sea World and took a ride on a Pirate Ship at John's Pass. Also ate at great restaurants. Looking forward to booking future vacations at this wonderful condo!

Great stay
Great stay and great check in, check out procedures. The only suggestion I would have is since the condo is partially carpeted, please provide a vacuum for use. It got pretty dirty throughout the week. Also there was a broom but no dust pan. Great place but lacking basic cleaning supplies.
