Kings Beach cabin in North Lake Tahoe

Our family of nine stayed 4 nights and loved this home! The beds were comfy and the space was perfect. The location made it easy to walk to the beach/lake and explore what Kings Beach had to offer.
Just as many of the Lake Tahoe rentals, there is no AC, which we were aware of prior and prepared for. The main floor got warm in the middle of the afternoon but was able to cool down in the evening with open windows and doors. Upstairs stayed pretty warm, despite opening the windows and utilizing fans. Just be prepared.

This was a great property for our family vacation with two additional teen friends. The kids (4 teens total) had both rooms upstairs and shared the upstairs bathroom with no issues at all. The downstairs master bedroom is spacious and cozy at the same time. Very comfortable home for everyone in our party. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to rent here again. I gave the location 4 stars instead of five because of the maintenance issues with the surrounding properties on the drive to the property (some rundown houses). This house itself is adorabale and was very nicely remodeled. We actually thought it was the best looking house in the neighborhood!

The property was exactly what we were looking for, it was updated and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Definitely recommending to friends and will be booking again in the future!

The house is nicely located walking distance from kings beach. The property is very clean! Lots of room. Great outdoor space and kitchen. We cooked every night. The only concern we had was no AC. It was very hot during the day, even with fans, so we had to stay outdoors till late evening. Mornings were cool. But I believe most properties dont have AC in that area. The owner was very kind and repsonsive to any concern we had. Overall we had a great weekend!

We had a great stay at this comfortable and spacious cabin. Just a 10 min walk to the beach and town the cabin is set back enough from the hustle and bustle and feels like a forest escape. The cabin is updated and decorated nicely. The hot tub was a great place to unwind and the master bedroom is spacious. The only thing to be aware of is there is no convenient “front door” access so you end up either going through the basement or the master bedroom to go in and out. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Kings Beach cabin. There was tons of snow, but we stayed warm and cozy. We loved being able to walk to the cafes and restaurants, and to the lake. It was a good location for Pallisades and TahoeX/C. We also found a nice park for snowshoeing nearby (we saw a brown bear!). The hot tub was perfect for the teenagers apres ski. (I would note that the access to the backyard with the hot tub was through the master bedroom. The snow was too deep to go around the side of the house.) We had everything we needed for cooking basic meals (lots of seasonings and oil available). The layout of the house worked well with two bedrooms and full bath upstairs for the teens, and the master on the main floor. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again!

Great house!
Loved our stay! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable trip, was very clean and the property owners were quick to respond to our questions. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. We especially enjoyed the location. It was a short walk to Kings Beach, shopping and dining. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Hosts and a Great Property
We stayed for a full week and the house was fully stocked and super comfortable. With a great location near Lake Tahoe, on several days my daughters walked from the house to the beach. The deck was the "gathering spot" for us each day and we used the gas fueled grill to make dinner. The owners clearly cared about our comfort during the stay and this was evident upon arrival as we walked into a squeaky clean home. Thank you Eric and family for allowing us to see the beauty of Lake Tahoe through the exquisite comfort of your home.

King’s Beach/ Lake Tahoe Getaway
This was exactly what we were looking for! Clean, spacious, and great location. The second upstairs bedroom was equally as nice and spacious as the downstairs master bedroom. We loved the kitchen / living room combination and wine coolers. It was also so convenient to have the washer/dryer in the basement. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Tahoe Trip
The home was very clean, and well appointed. The home was a short walk to King’s Beach, in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub worked great on the cold nights. Eric was quick to respond, had instructions in the home, and was extremely easy to work with. I would book this home again after how nice it was, and how great the owners are.

Great House
Everything was great! The only negative was the floor could have been cleaned better. It didn’t look dirty but when we saw the bottom of our white socks they were black. This was when we first got there.

Perfect
My family and I had an amazing experience. The house is clean and beautiful. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. He actually bought and shipped a fan to the house as we were in the middle of a heat wave. We highly recommend it

It was a nice place in a very good location. Just a mile away from Safeway incase you need to buy some stuff. Also, Eric was very responsive whenever I have questions.

Fabulous Experience
We had a truly lovely time staying at this wonderful home in Kings Beach. It is tucked in a peaceful neighborhood that is incredibly close to everything in Kings Beach-- making anything you want to do easily accessible. The home itself was fabulous, it has obviously been renovated and is very tastefully decorated, has every detail you could think of (especially in the kitchen) and has been setup as a very comfortable space that you want to spend time in. Plus, the deck out front and the hot tub in the back are the perfect places to relax and enjoy the beauty around you. In addition to all of that, the host Eric, was incredibly responsive, helpful and accessible, which is incredibly appreciated. This is such a fabulous home, I'd highly recommend it as it made our trip perfect and am looking forward to returning in the future.

Excellent property and awesome customer service !!
We have stayed in numerous cabins in Tahoe over the years (before and after kids) and this one is by far our favorite! Super clean and baby friendly. The enclosed front yard gave us peace of mind letting the kids play in the snow.
Adults can have a fun time too with the available hot tub, grill and fireplace. I love that the kitchen has some useful stuff already that we don’t have to buy every single thing (olive oil, spices, ziploc bags, Foil, etc). Small things, but definitely appreciated. Driveway can easily fit 4-5 cars if you have a big group. The owner (Eric) was quick to respond and very receptive to our needs/inquiries.

Awesome house
This house was awesome for 6 people. Very Modern inside, like it was updated recently. Lots of space to put ski equipment in the bottom level. My kids and extended family loved the hot tub so much after skiing that we were in it every night. Perfect if you plan to ski Northstar, Incline, or Mt. Rose. They are all about 15 minutes away. You could even go to Sqaw/Alpine in about 30-45 minutes. Loved it and would give it a higher rating then 5 stars if I could!

Generous host with a great home
We stayed here over Thanksgiving from Wednesday to Saturday. A huge storm was forecast beginning early Wednesday. Eric, the owner, reached out to me via email and offered the home on Tuesday at no additional charge, so we could come up a day early and avoid the storm. Very hospitable and generous. Once we arrived we found the house to be perfect. Close to everything in North Shore. With the snow we had during our stay we made a good toboggan run along the side of the property. We will definitely return.

Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable
The home is renovated, spacious, and clean. The long driveway along the side of the property was also a huge benefit for us as we had four vehicles in our group (friends reunion). The home is located on a quiet street and a short walk to the lake. Will definitely come back in the future.

Perfect Place to visit Kings Beach!
We loved this place and definitely plan on coming back. The location is perfect - so close to the beach and the cute little town (there's plenty of shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk). The house was recently updated, and they did a fantastic job - fully stocked CLEAN kitchen (we cooked almost every meal there and it had everything we needed), gorgeous bathrooms with heated floors and walk in showers, comfortable beds and couches! My favorite part was the front patio/deck. We sat out there every morning and had coffee, and ate dinner out there every night. (We brought a folding table for the deck to eat at, and there was already a small picnic table for the kids to eat at). Also if you have little ones, this place is very safe. There are stairs, but there was gates that you can keep closed if you need to. Owner was easy to contact if we had any questions. I would absoltley go back!

Clean and Efficient Home
House was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Beds and couches are excellent and the bathrooms were new. Recommend this place for any tahoe visitor.

All around great property
We loved staying here for the weekend. Very close proximity to the Safeway and Northstar resort.
The house itself is recently remodeled and fully stocked with anything you could need. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the restrooms have heated floors. Plenty of towels and blankets / pillows. The kitchen has many utensils and gadgets; we felt at home when cooking here.
The backyard is large and the hot tub was perfect in the snowy weather. I’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting Tahoe.

Our family recently stayed in Kings Beach for a ski trip. It was a wonderful vacation. The house was centrally located for north shore ski resorts. In the summer, you could easily walk to town.
The house was lovely, very well kepted and cleaned. It was well stocked with needed supplies in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. The kitchen was full of appliances and cookware. Everything was in working condition. The livingroom was comfortable with a great fireplace and television. In the summer, the front porch would be great place to sit outside and barbeque. We did use the gas grill and it worked fine. The jacuzzi was in the backyard. It was also in good working condition and comfortable.

Extremely well kept, fully stocked kitchen to cook. Extra towels, blankets & blow up mattress
I have been staying in cabins for the past 21 years for my birthday and this year I chose Eric’s cabin in Kings beach.
I’m very familiar with the area and have been staying out there for years. I was extremely impressed with the communication before hand. Eric was always quick with reply and even checked in on me to make sure we got situated okay. The house is truly done well, and the remodel looks great. The fireplace is as simple as it gets and warms up the living room quick. The kitchen is AMAZING and is easy to cook while gathered around (FULLY stocked too). The bed rooms all were fully stocked with extra blankets and there was even an extra blow up mattress. The only thing this cabin is missing that I would suggest, is to convert the bottom entry room into a mud room for all your gear and add some hooks to hang up your jackets and gear. We rode at the resorts nearby almost every day and our gear didn’t have a place we could throw it up and hang (there is a metal grate in front of the fireplace that works excellent too). Other than that I would give this an 11/10 and absolutely recommend it to anyone. Walks to restaurants and bars, the lake and only minutes away from resorts.
