The cottage was perfect for our family, and the host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved that the cottage was on a quiet side street, away from traffic, yet within walking distance of the busy downtown area. The patio/deck area was ideal for quiet morning coffees and evening family dinners. We will definitely return!

The property owner was very welcoming The house was perfectly located for what we wanted to do and see. Very cozy and loved the uniqueness of it. The only drawback was the listing said two bathrooms There was only one. There was an outdoor shower.

Life of Reilly cottage was perfect for our family. Clean, nice space for being together and relaxing. The location is amazing- so close to the sea. Communication was easy. Definitely recommend a stay

Stayed 2 nights in early November and lucked out on fantastic weather. The home is just as described and a short block to Back Beach. Walking distance to Rockport shops and Front Beach. Hosts are very friendly and communicative. Definitely recommend and would stay again next time in the area.

Great location! Easy access to Rockport, train to Salem, road trip around Cape Ann and only 1.5 hours to Maine for lobster.
The house is an easy walk to the beach and Bear Skin Neck. Maybe 2 minutes to Back Beach and 15 minutes all the way to end past My Place restaurant.
The one bathroom was oddly laid out and the shower is small. Would have been nice to have a TV in the dinning room. And the coffee pot was a little fancy for me, no instruction so no coffee. Brothers Brew is maybe 7 minute walk and have all the coffee and donuts you need.
Over all; the owner was great, greeted us upon arrival. Wealth of information about the area but gave us room to explore. I don't think you will beat the value/location.

It was just myself and my three school aged children 12 and under. We had such a fun time in the Rockport/ Gloucester area this summer. The house was super cute and perfect for me and mine. With such close and convenient proximity to all our destinations: bearskin shops, wingearsheek beach, Hammond castle, and Cape Ann whale watch we were able to get to everything on our to do list and still have time for relaxation! Loved the Reilly life experience 😁

Rockport July vacation
My sister, brother in law, my husband and I had a delightful vacation at the Life of Reilly! The location was ideal! Close to stores, museums, beaches-even walking distance! We loved the kitchenette, living room & had plenty of room in our bedrooms! What we liked the most was the picnic table on the deck where we all talked into the night! Highly recommend this location!

Quaint getaway
Rockport is beautiful! The house was cute, clean and the location is very close to the beach and downtown area. We enjoyed ourselves and Liz was available for any questions as well! We look forward to visiting Rockport again in the near future!

The house was perfect for us! We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice, clean, and overall quite area. Very close walk to the beach and the ocean view from down the street is beautiful. Liz and Tim were great, they responded to any questions we had promptly and they were very helpful with suggestions of things to do around the area. We will Definitely will stay again!

Fun Visit to Rockport
The house is as described, and is such a sweet property. Having two separate living spaces is nice if you have kiddos along. Walking distance to many of the fun Rockport attractions made this a great place for us to stay. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owner who left a graduation surprise for us, so incredibly sweet. We would love to come stay again sometime soon. Perfect getaway
This was the perfect place to spend a few days near the ocean. The view of the ocean from the house was so nice and the short walk allowed us to visit it frequently.
Very close to the center of Rockport where we enjoyed leisurely strolling, shopping and dining.
We mostly avoid public dining due to Covid, and the kitchen in the home was perfect for preparing meals and eating in.
The main living room is warm and inviting and was roomy for some more family to join us for the afternoon for conversation and board games.
The two bedrooms were lovely and the beds were comfortable. We needed three separate sleeping spaces and words of advice for those planning to stay here: the loft is awesome, but the beds are best for young people. The mattresses were not suitable for my 200lbs. But the couch was a comfortable alternative for one person.
And the owners were so friendly, they really made the experience perfect.
I highly recommend it.

Autumn Weekend by the Beach
My friends and I loved our weekend stay here! The location is great, right by the beach and so close to cute towns. Liz was responsive and happy to make recommendations and do whatever she could to ensure we had a pleasant stay. While the beach in autumn isn't for everyone, their cottage has a lovely living room with a fireplace, it was so cozy and fun to spend time there! I will cherish the time we spent here for years to come.

Home away from home
We had an amazing stay at Liz and Tim's place in Rockport. We were there for a few weeks and not only was the property perfect for us to visit with family but we really felt welcomed to the neighborhood. The town is wonderful for morning walks and runs and exploring the beautiful, serene beaches.
"Life of Reilly" cottage was the perfect size for our small group of four and the backyard was perfect for hosting friends and family. We had beautiful fall weather and made use of the wood stove in the "cozy room".
Liz and Tim (and all the Reilly's) are unbelievably thoughtful hosts, making us feel so welcome from the start of the trip and all through our stay. Would recommend this hands down for anyone looking for a home away from home for a short trip in beautiful Rockport!

Cosy Cottage
This cottage is fabulous! Location is amazing. Very short walk to the beach and Rockport town centre. The cottage itself is spacious and really well stocked with towels, bed linen, kitchen equipment, outdoor shower and fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location
A nice walking distance to front beach. Could either walk or drive to the neck. A quiet street that was peaceful at night listening to the waives while enjoying the cool nights on the deck. Loved seeing or morning fox stroll by.

Perfect family vacations
How lucky we were to find this house for our family vacations! The location was perfect with the beach almost next door. It made our days so much easier with the kids. Liz is a great host, available and very welcoming! With all the art galeries, shops and the Bearskin Neck within a short walking distance, we had everything we needed to really relax and enjoy our vacations. I would recommand this place to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience visiting Rockport and staying here. Home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with single wall AC unit in master bedroom. Washer/dryer in 2nd bedroom. Home is in an ideal location, walking distance to all you need in Rockport. Owners are available and responsive. Would stay here again.

Long Weekend in Rockport
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property! There were 6 adults visiting for a long weekend to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was smooth sailing all around. You cannot beat the location of this house. Not to mention, Liz and her husband Tim were beyond helpful and friendly - they really helped to make this trip special. We will certainly be back!

Was not comfortable
The main problem for us was that when we arrived, the weather was humid for several days. The air conditioning was in the master bedroom. There were ceiling fans, but only about three windows were able to be opened. We stayed for three nights. We couldn't feel a good breeze, unfortunately. We found the beds to be too firm for our comfort. Also in both the master and second bedroom, there was a window where the sun shone brightly through at 6 am, which made it difficult to sleep. Good location, but would not return.

Fantastic location!
The house was as described, and communication was easy and immediate. Liz responded to my very last minute (the night before arrival) booking request, and was available during our stay as needed. The house was comfortable, and set up perfectly for my family. The kids loved, loved, loved the sleeping loft and can't wait to go back to their house in Rockport!
The location was great- walking distance to Bearskin Neck, even for my older mother with limited mobility.
