My family of 11 just returned to Montana from a week at this lovely place. We have been vacationing as a group of five adults and six children for the last 10 years, and this is the first place we have been that is exactly as advertised. Everything was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The white sand beach is incredible and private; we spent a good share of each day in the water. The kids (ages 9-16) were in heaven! Jen recommended several places to eat, all of which had wonderful seafood. We especially enjoyed the Lazy Days Restaurant, and spending time at Robbie's. Jen and Pete were absolutely the best hosts we have ever experienced. The second day we were there, we noticed that the grill had a propane leak, and let them know. By the following afternoon, Pete had come to the house and installed a completely new grill for us. Pretty amazing! We highly recommend this beautiful place!

After Hurricane Matthew "blew away" our vacation plans in the Bahamas, we found a paradise in Islamorada with Jennifer & Pete. Finding a home to accommodate 4 couples at the last minute seemed to be impossible, but it couldn't have been any easier. Jennifer and Pete were a pleasure and truly saved our vacation! The accommodations were great - plenty of room for all. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen (well appointed) were so comfortable. The deck off the house overlooking the bay was perfect and we spent many evenings there seeing incredible sunsets. 8 Adirondack chairs greeted us and lured us down to the beach each day. Jennifer gave us plenty of info about shopping and other hot spots in the area, of which there are plenty!! I would recommend this home, without a question. We have already booked out trip for this year with Jennifer and Pete!!

Spent a vacation in paradise at this hidden beachfront gem! An amazing relaxing time that simply took my breath away with the views and tranquility that we felt. Roomy, clean with all the comforts of home. Amazing views from entire house, including a clear view of the ocean from the second floor balcony. Kids had an incredible time paddleboarding, canoeing and even spotted a dolphin! You can’t go wrong with a cigar on a hammock under the shade of a tree during sunset. Left with a renewed sense of peace after spending time there and can’t wait to go back!

Simply saying this house is amazing is an understatement!! The views are incredible! We sat on the balcony drinking our coffee each morning and in the chairs on the beach each night. The house was more than enough. I vacationed with my family of 10 adults and 2 children. Each couple was able to have their own private space. The dining room table was great for our big family dinners as well as game night. The location is perfect! It's close to so many things but at the same time it is very secluded! The dirt road is hard to find but the owner gave great directions. We were able to swim and lay out on our own beach. We also brought a boat and seadoo. Being able to have them onsite was a major plus! We will definitely stay here again!

After accidentally missing the turn-off from U.S.1 to Lysiloma Lane twice (it's sneaks up on you), we turned down a tree-lined gravel road, at which we probably drove another half mile before finding the house on Gumbo Limbo Lane. What struck us when we first got out of the car in front of the house was how isolated we were from the traffic along U.S.1. The house is nested inside of what would pass as a small forest, while opening it's back yard to the calm waters on the bay. The house appeared to be well cared for, and had plenty of room for us to have some friends come over and visit who were staying nearby. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and one of those new stoves that can boil water in a minute. The bedrooms were decorated nicely with a tropical plantation theme to them. The bedrooms upstairs had attached bathrooms to them, while one of the bedrooms downstairs had it's bathroom located just outside it's door. The inside impressed us as being well maintained. The exterior was nicely decorated with plantation shutters. The front parking area was a large circle which had some trees in the center. The back yard is what really catches your eye. They have a beach area no doubt man-made, with I think eight adirondack chairs on the beach facing the water. The whole scene could be made into a painting: I spent my early mornings on the second floor balcony drinking coffee a gazing on the treeline-framed view of the beach and bay. The water on the bay side is way calmer, having stayed at locations on the ocean side in the past. Since it was April, it was a bit cool, but casually sitting in the waist-deep water while drinking beer does not suck! Recommend bringing water shoes when going in the water. Negatives: Turn-off from US 1 needs better signage; wish we could have brought our dogs.

The house boasts its own private beach on the bay that makes for great snorkeling, paddle boarding, or simply laying on the beach. We were also able to enjoy some amazing sunsets. The house is perfectly centered with the sun as it sets over the crystal clear waters of the bay. This house is in a great location for going out and exploring Islamorada or other parts of the Keys and is located near some amazing restaurants. This was the perfect house for a relaxing vacation because you have the option of escaping the crowds with your own private beach yet still remain close to a fair amount of restaurants, bars, and other activities that are only an incredibly short drive away if you want to experience the culture of the town. I would definitely recommend renting this location for anyone going on a vacation, be it as a family or for a group of friends on a getaway together.
