The unit worked well for us to come into town and visit with my son and his girlfriend.

Jacqueline and her family were so warm and welcoming. It snowed during our stay they asked if they could wipe our car off. How amazing and thoughtful. EVERYTHING about my stay was superb. Plenty of space, snacks, blankets/pillows, toiletries etc available for my use. I loved the decor and the warm welcoming. Easy to enter property without disrupting the owners. Will definitely be back next year around this time!

I have nothing but great things to say. It is a basement apartment, but it is cheerful, large, clean, and exceptionally well appointed. If you have kids, the best part is the separation! We could have stayed in a hotel and each shared a bed with a kid...but here, you can pull out the sofa bed, turn on the TV, close the door and slink away to a private bedroom for peace and quiet. Great breakfast spot called Savoury nearby. Hope to stay again very soon. Thank you, Jacqueline, for being such a thoughtful host!

This rental was very clean, quiet, and relaxing, located in a very nice neighborhood. The hosts were very accommodating and respond quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful home in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. I really enjoyed to back porch view of the golf course (even took a run on the back 9 golf path - after hours). I highly recommend the this place and the hosts.

I wanted a quaint space to enjoy a few days of solitude. This property did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the pool, gazebo, and living space.

The hosts are very kind and responsive and the place is beautiful - especially access to the backyard area. The pool bottom can be a little rough if playing for an extended period of time so we used water shoes just in case.

Property was very nice, clean and well maintained. Location was excellent. Stay was very comfortable. Hosts were excellent!

We actually looked forward to coming back each evening after busy Chicago days. Cleanliness and attention to details were much appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

Nestled in an upscale neighborhood, it was easy to spend all day working remote here. The bedroom is pitch black and silent, perfect for us.

We got a much-needed escape in Bartlett! All of the comforts of home without all the distractions. Hoping to return this summer to take advantage of the pool and gazebo as well..

The unit is very quiet and nicely appointed. Jacqueline is very quick to answer any needs. We were in town to visit a new grand baby and we were happy to be only 6 minutes from him. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights and relaxed in the Gazebo both nights. Kitchen area and bathroom were great for the two off us and just quick breakfasts in the morning. Host had snacks and K-Cups for the coffee maker all stocked up that was greatly appreciated. The restaurants were less than a mile walk from this location and is that is a really good distance for getting some exercise in on the way there and back. We had dinner at "The Still Bar and Grill" and the Brisket Nachos were really delicious. Definitely adding both this property and the restaurant to our list of favorites when coming to Chicago.

Clean, attractive, & comfortable!

This was our second time visiting Jacqueline's property. Another great stay with tons of pool time for the kids. We grilled, had a nighttime fire, and made s'mores.

Our family and I needed a much deserved getaway. This rental by far exceeded our expectations. We all had an awesome time. Jacqueline and her husband are welcoming and attentive hosts! The pool was amazing. Wish we had stayed an extra day! We are planning to make this rental a yearly getaway!

What a wonderful place! The pool and outdoor space is fantastic—so many seating areas and a screened in gazebo, too. Outdoor inflatables and toys, too. My kids were enchanted! (The stairs were a bit steep to enter the pool area, so most often, we walked around the side of the house, which was easy.) Jacqueline has taken great care to make this place family-friendly, and it is so large! For those with a travel crib, there is a large walk in closet, too. Everything was sparkling clean. It was a lovely, private retreat. My husband enjoyed having a little office nook, too, while he did a bit of work. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Near several nice parks within walking distance. We enjoyed delicious take out Friel several local restaurants, too. Jacqueline was a gracious host, adding lots of extra touches, and we hardly ever heard any footsteps upstairs; we had very courteous hosts! Thank you, Jacqueline, for making our stay so homey!

Easy check in. Very nice guest suite. Very comfortable and cozy! Mrs. Jacqueline was very attentive! Space was well equipped with anything you can think of. I love that cucumber hand soap in the bathroom. I have to find me some of that for our house. The private pool is the best part. Excellent and quiet area to relax! We loved it!! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely be back.

The place was great and property manager is super nice. We are a family of four and we highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

We did a short staycation at Jacqueline's property and it was exactly what we needed. The kids absolutely loved the pool! The apartment was well equipped. One thing to note is that the refrigerator is a mini fridge so keep that in mind if you're bringing your own food. We're looking forward to our next stay at this property in August.

We really enjoyed sitting in the gazebo and swimming in the pool, which overlooks the golf course. Very easy check in/check out process. Would love to stay again.

My husband and I stayed almost two weeks in this wonderful guest suite. It's quiet and comfortable, with easy access to Bartlett and the surrounding areas. We've stayed in many VRBO's over the years, and I've never seen so many thoughtful touches. Jacqueline goes out of her way to ensure that guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We definitely will be back when we return to the area. It's a perfect home-away-from-home!

Everything was above expectations. Even though it was only one bedroom, the apartment was pretty roomy. My kids had space to run about a bit. The outdoor space is the selling point. Even though the property manager lives above in the main house, she and her husband give you the privacy most quest expect. If you need anything, they get right on it. Again you have the outdoor space to yourself while there. The pool is great. It's a nice size. I highly recommend this place. Oh and Jaqueline keeps it very clean.

We couldn't stay because the air was so heavy with fumes from cleaners and air fresheners. We're not sensitive to that kind of thing, but it was leading to headache and dizziness. They had warned us earlier in the week that it might smell of "strong curry," as the guest before us had been cooking. We replied that we were unconcerned and that we would rather the place smell like food than like cleaners and air fresheners. We said it would probably not be necessary to clean more than the normal amount. To be fair, we did add "it's your property, so do what you gotta do." The property was vacant for two days before we got there, so the owners had that long to do whatever cleaning they had to do and ventilate the space. We tried airing it out for a couple of hours and coming back, but the space is not well ventilated, and whatever they were using was so strong, it stayed in our hair and clothes. We could even taste it in our mouths after we left. I appreciate the efforts, but they clearly overcompensated. The owners must really dislike curry, I guess?I appreciate that the refund was full and immediate. It's a shame that we couldn't stay, because the place was really nice. We particularly like the gazebo in the yard. I don't doubt that someone could have a pleasant stay there; it was probably just a one-time mistake. Nevertheless, it meant we had to find a hotel last minute, which was bad news after a long drive.

Conveniently located to my office in Chicago, well kept, comfortable bed, attentive hosts. I will definitely stay here again when in Chicago for business.
