We met up with our kids from Idaho and sister from Hilton Head. The condos were amazing! We didn't want to leave. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with utensils and items needed for cooking. It really was like being at home except we had an ocean view and sunsets that were beyond amazing.

We were very happy to have such a beautiful condo that was comfortable and well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, even beach towels. Everything we needed was there. And the people were friendly, from the men at the gate to the people on the beach and by the pool, loved the large pool. Having a keycode rather than a key to enter the condo was an added bonus!

Our second stay in this unit. They have replaced the old couch and love seat. This make this unit perfect and very updated. This is the first time we have witnessed a pool monitor during our stay and they did a very professional job of enforcing the rules and regulations without making a big deal out of it.

The semi-gated location on the Gulf feels secluded from the busy area beyond it and the largest heated salt-water pool in the area keeps us coming back. Very nice condo, the bed was very comfortable. Only a couple issues, the keurig coffe pot leaks, one of the toilet seats was broken and the linen closet door is broken. The views are spectacular and the sunsets are beautiful. Easy access the the beach and if you like shells there are many.

August 2021 - Satisfied except AC issue & communication
Very nice two-bedroom apartment with a nice view of the ocean. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The property was clean and had all the necessary supplies. WIFI was great.
We had an issue with the AC in the master bedroom: the system had some sort of flaw which caused it to not push much cold air into the master bedroom. That resulted in the master bedroom being uncomfortably warmer than the rest of the apartment. I'm sure it didn't help that it was very hot and humid that week.
The bigger issue was with the maintenance staff. When I called, the lady first said "previous guests didn't report any problems" & to make sure the vents are open (they were). Either this person was new to this property and hadn't dealt with previous calls about the master bedroom AC, or she didn't read reviews on this unit. If you look at reviews for the unit, you can see previous renters also had the same issue:
* From Sherry - June 2021: "only concern was that the air vent in the master bedroom did not blow cold air"
* From Jo - June 2021: "The air flow vent in the master bedroom was putting out ZERO air flow."
* From sheriy1 - May 2020: "The master is very hot and doesn’t get the best A/C but does have a fan!"
* From Frank - Apr 2017: "Air conditioning did not work well in master bedroom."
A technician did come a couple of days later (they were closed Sundays) and worked around the issue by closing other vents to force more air out of the master bedroom's vent. That addressed the problem for the rest of our stay.
So - I was overall happy with the unit but disappointed that an AC issue that was reported many times in the past was never properly addressed.

Condo is great. Beach is not. There is a restaurant across the bay that plays loud music at night. Any time you step on the balcony or go to the beach at night you feel like you are standing outside a nightclub. During the day, there are several people who bring speakers to the beach to play their own music. I've been to a few beaches and this is the first time I've encountered people playing their own music on the beach. A walk on the beach was always disappointing because I had to pass several people playing loud music. Most of the time when I wanted to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean I instead got to listen to the music from the restaurant across the bay or the music from people on the beach.

Beautiful view and great place
We spent 7 days in this condo! It was beautiful although there were a lot of dead bugs on the floor.... could have used better cleaning! The good news is that the location could not be better! Steps away from the beach, a beautiful pool with shuffle board, beach volleyball, etc. There is a playground steps down the beach and also a lovely beach bar down the way. Sunsets on the balcony or the beach are spectacular!! Powder sand is great, too! Well appointed kitchen and good dvds, games, books to keep you busy!
The bad news -The second bedroom with two beds are pretty rough as the beds have major dents in them... they really need new mattresses or else you will break your back. Ok for small children but not adults. The master is very hot and doesn’t get the best A/C but does have a fan! The fridge is old so you have to make sure the door is closed properly or else your food will spoil. These are all things you can manage for the price!

Very nice condo and a great location. The condo itself is great - updated with very nice amenities. Wonderful view of the Gulf and beach. Sunsets are fantastic from the third floor. Parking was good and underneath the building so the car never got too warm. The Lands End complex is very well maintained with a great pool area and a wonderful 0.6 mile long boardwalk around the complex. The condo was very well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful month at Lands End! There were some housekeeping issues and some missing items, to which Resorts Rentals promptly responded. My only negative comment is that housekeeping should be more thorough when preparing for the next tenants and not take shortcuts with regard cleanliness.
