This property is exactly as advertised. Renovated and exceptionally well maintained. It is steps from the heart of Beaune, has a dedicated parking spot, and owner is accessible and extremely helpful. I’d recommend this highly for an immersive experience in Beaune!

This is a beautiful apartment in the center city of Beaune that is close to everything and the apartment decor blends old world charm with modern amenities. The apartment is spacious and tastefully updated. It is truly a beautiful apartment and I can’t wait to return. There are numerous patisseries within a 2 minute walk and numerous restaurants equally close at hand. The unit is fully furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. A large wine refrigerator is a real plus after visiting a few tasting rooms. Benjamin our host is fabulous. He is very friendly, attentive and most helpful. There is free off street parking near the unit that is very easy to use.

This place is amazing!! Lovely spacious apartment with every imaginable amenity. The apartment appeared to be brand new - certainly newly renovated. The location is in the old section of Beaune and walking distance to everything. Dominique was an exceptional hostess, and we would love to be repeat customers next time we are in France.

This is the second time we have stayed in in this home. it's the perfect place to say in Beaune. Close to the town square, comfortable, well appointed and great communication and support from the host. Will stay there again!

The apartment was lovely and central to everything in Beaune. Benjamin was very flexible with the check-in time and gave us a history of the building and the renovation. The apartment was spacious and well-stocked. It was a bonus that a near-by parking spot was also included. I highly suggest renting this apartment if you are in Beaune.

Walkable to everything in town. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Location COULDN’T have been better. Was a little nervous about access to VRBO. I email 6 weeks before our trip about local tours, didn’t receive response until about two weeks before we would be there. Emailed about leaving luggage upon arrival has entry time was open, didn’t return email however he met us at location upon arrival. Same was true of departure. WOULDN’T deter me from renting again.

Thank you Benjamin for allowing us to stay at your home in Beaune. The unit is awesome - beautiful high ceilings, a fully remodeled space with modern kitchen and bathrooms, excellent decor. We loved staying so close to the center of town - I can’t imagine a better location. Benjamin provided a hands-on welcome and was helpful in every regard. Beaune is a wonderful vibrant town to visit for an extended period. We would be delighted to return and to stay here again. Merci beaucoup Benjamin!

I read ALL the reviews before I booked. Several had said the location was good, however in our experience the location was not just good it was excellent, we couldn’t have been more lucky. Anything and everything you could have wanted was minutes away by foot. Excellent boulangers and patisserie, cafés and brassiere, Michelin restaurants, wine shops and coffee, clothes, jewelry and antique shopping all around and several historic sights. The neighborhood was safe, we walked as late as 12:00 and we felt very safe. There were people out enjoying late night dinner and wine….so picturesque with the vibe you hoped you’d find on your vacation to France. Benjamin, our host was fantastic! He gave us a brief chat of the city and where to get what. His dining and wine tasting recommendations were spot on. His gite was elegant yet rustic and immaculate. The architecture mixed with his very thoughtful renovations made the space absolutely magical. Next time we’ll bring the family, rent one or two additional apartments and stay much longer. Final note, Benjamin had a great parking garage very nearby. The bathrooms and showers were sparkling and well fitted. The kitchen was fully stocked and the washer/dryer up leveled our whole experience. Generally I just hope to find the location I booked is as good as I expected. This time, everything was much MUCH better than we expected!!! Thank you Benjamin for a perfect visit to Beaune. We’ll be back.

Apartment (gite) was as described and depicted in photos. Everything was clean and in order, kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, knives, etc., three coffee makers (Espresso, drip and Nespresso), an electric kettle for tea, and a full size wine and beverage fridge. All appliances were good. Microwave, juicer, lots of glassware and plates, and some basic supplies to get going like olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, as well as soaps, detergents, laundry supplies, more. Tons of counter space and storage in kitchen. We ate many meals there. Apartment was thoughtfully renovated 5 or so years ago and is isn very good condition, nice lighting, beautiful stonework and wood floors. Bathrooms (en suite) in each bedroom plus a half bath and laundry room combo off living room. Water pressure and temperature and fixtures all fabulous. Benjamin, host/owner, was accessible, a few minutes away in same neighborhood, and very helpful with information about the area, a very nice guy, speaks English too! We stayed there for over 3 weeks (two adults and two adult children) and it worked out great.Two generous size bedrooms and yes there is a pull out couch in a very big living room, if that is something you might use. The location is excellent, close to everything walking, dozens of really good restaurants and cafes, butchers, bakers, grocers, specialty stores, wineries, historic sites - EVERYTHING -really.

The property is in a great location and has free parking. A big plus. The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped. There was construction at it and across the street that created a couple issues. However, when we visit Beaune again, we would drfinitely stay here.

I can't say enough good things about our stay and Benjamin. It is perfectly located and gorgeous. Benjamin was very thoughtful and helpful. We had arranged with him to take us to wineries and lunch for one day. It was perfect and fun. He had arranged a variety of experiences. I have only one slight suggestion. The lighting in the small bathroom could have been brighter. Benjamin was very receptive to our comment. I highly recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay there again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Beaune in large part due to the wonderful accommodations in the heart of town. This home is spacious, has large bathrooms and a great kitchen and living area for socializing after a long day of exploring. The property was clean an had everything you needed to enjoy you stay! Will definitely be back!!

While the home is as lovely as the photos, there are a few fundamental issues. (We have noted all of this info to the owner, hopefully he will address for future guests and update the rental profile accordingly.)NO A/C - we chose this home, listed with A/C because of the high risk of warm weather during our travels, only to learn, after our arrival, that the home is without A/C (somehow a portable unit can be rented as an option, which was never provided to us, making for a very uncomfortable stay). Construction- While Benjamin is working very hard to improve the property, I wish we would have been told, in advance of our arrival, that the roof was being replaced and that we would be awoken by the sounds of hammering and debris falling from the ceiling at 715AM. Again, communicating this in advance and allowing us to make other arrangements, without penalty, would have been better for all. This left a very negative impression of our stay.Communication - Prior to our arrival, we had sent several messages, attempting to obtain house entry info amd instructions. We were finally able to reach Benjamin by telephone the evening prior to coordinate logistics. On the positive side, the home has been beautifully restored, having access to a washer/dryer and full kitchen is helpful in making it feel like home. The town if Beaune is bustling so access to cafés, restaurants, shopping was great.

Benjamin was highly responsive and has done a great job creating a beautiful apartment. The location is ideal as others have mentioned. My only disappointment is that the listing reflects that it has AC and we learned upon arrival that is not the case. There were small fans provided which we used but the temperatures were in excess of 100 degrees on two days of our visit.
