The apartment is in a really central location and was perfect for our needs.

Feb 2019. Excellent location. Met the Manager on arrival who was very professional, helpful and answered all of our questions). The sea, marche, shops, restaurants and grocery store all next to the apt. Other visits to Menton will be a must. Tks for a great two weeks.

Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen und bietet ausreichend Komfort . Man wohnt zentral und dennoch nicht zu laut, vor allem nachts. Man muss für den Meeresblick recht viele Stufen gehen, aber es lohnt sich. Schade, dass es zur Wohnung keinen Parkplatz in der Nähe gibt.

2 bémols malgré tout: l - la literie de la chambre ne nous a pas convenue - impossible de trouver des places libres pour se garer en centre ville.

Votre appartement a rendu mon voyage très captivant. Immergée dans la culture française (je suis américaine du Connecticut). C'est ce que je voulais, vivre localement, pas en vacances. Del l'emplacement sur une carte postale rue, au marche frais tous les matins et les fenetres ensoleillées donnant sur la Place des Herbes un la Côte d'Azur, vet appartement au troisième étage était parfait! Il est équipé de plus que vous avez besoin; tous les aspects de la vie quotidienne couverts. J'ai passé mes jours à marcher et à explorer; à apprécier l'architecture un les magasins, et ressent un véritable amour de vivre. Chaque commerçant est fier de son produit, il se sent et est en sécurité, et cela m'a rendu nostalgique pour les mêmes valeurs communautaires que j'ai jouies dans ma jeunesse. Diese hübsch eingerichtete Wohnung in Menton mit idealer Lage in mitten in der Altstadt und 5 min. zum Strand machte unseren Aufenthalt zu einer exzellenten Urlaubswoche. Die Wohnung ist mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet, was sehr umfangreich in Küche , Schlafzimmer, Bad und Wohnbereich vorzufinden war. Auch Strandassosoires wie Sonnenschirm und Badeschuhe waren vorhanden.Für die tägliche Unterhaltung ist bestens gesorgt, viele kleine Restaurants,Cafes und Boutiquen bieten eine große Auswahl. Die sehr nahegelegene Markthalle verfügt über ein sehr reichhaltiges Angebot an frischen Waren für den echt französischen Genuß.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder nutzen. We spent a wonderful two weeks in this cozy and comfortable apartment in the center of Menton, overlooking the sea, the mountains, and the fabulous covered central market at the Place des Herbes. We could walk to everything, but there is also a bus stop right at the Place (the best dining/meeting/music spot). The Cocteau Museum is next to the market, and other museums are a few minutes away, not to mention the beaches, which are right there !! Cafes line the beaches, but in a much less frenetic elitist way than one finds in Nice, Cannes, etc.. The apartment itself has everything you need to dine in, and the views are beautiful. If you're not able to climb stairs, that could be a problem, but we found that after a few days we got used to the trek, just don't bump your head (it's a very old building). The owners and their representatives are thoughtful and accessible. I want to live there!!

Très bonne situation (mer, port et centre ville) appartement bien équipé, décoration gaie et sympa, calme. Convient pour 2 personnes. Accueil très agréable, personne prévenante et à l'écoute des locataires, nous l'en remercions.

Très bien agencé, tout ce qu il faut pour passer un très agréable séjour. Appartement situé dans le centre historique de la ville, les commerces à proximité et un temps magnifique. Nous reviendrons...

les escaliers sont mortel pour des personnes agées .ne pas louer à partir de la soixantaine.'les marches ne sont pas égales et avec des bagages c"est la mort).on peut pas se permettre de monter et descendre plusieurs foi dans la journée...

L'appartement est très bien situé et correspond à la description. Il est coquet, bien aménagé et à proximité de toutes les commodités. Le mois de décembre est très animé (Illuminations, décoration, marché de Noel, patinoire, ....). Et nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une semaine ensoleillée.

The apartment was perfectly placed, in the atmospheric old town, close to the market and the sea-front. It was bustling during the day, though pleasantly un-touristy, and it was very quiet at night. The rooms were comfortable, light and airy and were well-equipped for a holiday let. Having travelled by train from Nice airport, we might have appreciated basics like washing-up liquid, a cleaning cloth and toilet rolls, but the supermarkets are only a short walk away. We loved exploring the steep narrow streets in the old town. The Cemetery on the old castle hill was a beautiful and interesting place to visit - so many British, German and Russian graves from the nineteenth century and the views over the town and coastline were stunning. We very much enjoyed the Cocteau museums and the Salle de Mariages. We used the local buses to visit the Jardin Serre de la Madone, and the lovely ancient hill town of Roquebrune - it was an easy walk back from both places. Providing your legs are strong ( over 50 winding steps from the street to the apartment door! ) we would thoroughly recommend Menton and this property. WE were very happy with this little flat, it has a nice view of roof tops and sea, although the owner must have taken the photograph from one floor higher than the flat so what this photograph shows is not exactly what you see. We were very comfortable and everything was clean and in working order. Elizabeth was very helpful and we felt the flat was good value and was in a good place in the town. However the three flights of narrow stairs are tricky to negotiate as they are black and it is not easy to see the edge of each step. it needs a light coloured strip at the edge of each tread. My husband missed his footing several times when coming down the stairs.

My wife and I spend 2 weeks in this beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect and we felt we where living just like the local people. The apartment is nice, clean and close to the beach and a wonderful marked at our doorstep. Especially we wold like to thank Elisabeth. She was so kind and helpful.

Most of Menton is condos and hotels one could find anywhere, this market and harbor and historic center is genuinely French, with varied and reasonable restaurants and shopping and maybe the only free parking for miles. The stairs are many and steep and somewhat irregular, but the height of the place yields the charming view. We felt cozy there and kept ourselves amused by what was right outside.
