Overall a good experience. Kid friendly and plenty of room. Kitchen amenities could use some updating but otherwise user friendly and clean.

The porch and views are unbeatable. The neighborhood is safe and authentic. The house has lovely history. You truly get a real feel of the island staying here.

House is really nice for a family vacation. We really enjoyed it. The house was really clean and beds were comfy. Loved the view and the feeling of being surrounded by trees. Loved all the animal visitors. So fun to have iguanas, horses, roosters and cats in the yard. Such a fun experience. Close to the fort. Can walk to get fresh delicious fresh bread in the morning. We all loved the house.

What a wonderful experience staying at Colina de Brisas. The house was plenty equipped for our stay. Upon our arrival, being greeted by wild horses in the marquesina. To the ample kitchen for entertaining and enjoying the daily sunsets over the plentiful onsite fruit trees. Or the very close proximity to everything in Isabela II…the house was lovely and exactly what we needed. My family and I had an amazing time and the accommodations made it convenient and comfortable. Thank you for having us. We enjoyed every moment and hope to be back soon. We recommend this house greatly!

The house was perfect. It is stocked with toys and books that my young children enjoyed. It has beach chairs, toys, snorkel gear. Kitchen is well stocked. Close drive to multiple beaches.

We all agree this is one of our best trips to date - and part of it is because of this house. Such a beautiful view, so much space, awesome kitchen to cook in - we could go on and on. And having the car with the house was wonderful! Renee is a wonderful host! This was a wonderful place to come back to after adventuring during the day. We were able to get a very good feel for island life here - and we loved it! Chickens, horses, beaches - and don't miss out on the Rincon food truck - amazing! We loved Bieke's, but weren't able to dine out as much as we wanted to, so I know there are many other great restaurants. And this house has amazing pans - stainless steel! We really appreciated that:0) Not all places have good cookware:0) And great beach chairs/umbrella. Wonderful place - highly recommended by all of us!

Everything you need to access everything on the island. We left a local map to help get oriented. Loved that the AC worked well. Took us a while to get used to the chickens and dogs in the neighborhood. We would certainly stay here again.

Great property sits above tree canopies. Awesome views of the surrounding areas all the way to the sea. Owner provided everything needed for a excellent beach outing( chairs, coolers, towels, and even some snorkeling gear).

We had the most amazing stay at this lovely home. It had everything we needed, and was the most incredible home away from home. Everything about this property was magical. We started every morning, and ended every perfect evening on the gorgeous porch overlooking the sea and the tops of the tropical trees. I can’t wait to return and would love to stay at this magical property again!

We had an amazing stay! The veranda has breathtaking views of Isabel Segunda and the Atlantic Ocean. The rental is spacious and has everything you will need for your stay in beautiful Vieques! There were beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, an umbrella for shade and the list goes on! Renee was wonderful with communication and helped us immensely with planning our visit and the pandemic restrictions/rules.

My family of 5 stayed here for Christmas week and were thrilled with the place! It was just as described, communication was wonderful, beach supplies were available for our use (chairs, sun covering for making shade at the beach, coolers, etc.), and it was very clean. Everything that we needed for making meals at home was available. TV with internet streaming was good. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk to town where there were baked goods, groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, fish market - everything that you could possibly need. The chickens did talk a lot, but that added to the charm of the place. The view is spectacular and being able to rent the owner’s car made the whole week so much sweeter. I hope to go back again.

Staying here was perfect for our visit! Definitely need a jeep for the driveway but a great central location for exploring all the beaches. Property was nice, views magnificent! Great having beach chairs, towels and coolers for use during our stay.

The house was just what we expected. It was an easy check in and our process. It was very clean and well stocked both in the kitchen as well as supplies for the day trips to the beach. The wrap around on the exterior was great! It was where we spent much of our time when relaxing in the evenings. The property manager was very easy to contact and quick to respond. This house is closer to the downtown area, but a bit of a distance to any of the very beautiful beaches so renting the car along with the property was very convenient. The only recommendation we would have is to upgrade the mattresses as the ones there are a bit uncomfortable. Overall a great place and would definitely return to this property!

Cool place

We absolutely loved our stay at Isabel Segunda. We loved it so much, in fact, that we ended up staying an extra night! The house was roomy, and the wrap around balcony was fantastic! I recommend you have transportation to get around the island. We ended up renting a golf cart ($75/24 hours) so we could get around. The publicas were expensive ($20 for a 5-minute ride from the ferry, and $60 for a round trip ride to La Chiva beach). It was hard to leave Vieques and Isabel Segunda!

Great views. Great space and everything works! Easy to get pretty much any/every where. The 5 of us had a very enjoyable, stress-free stay here. The owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful.

Two couples stayed in Colina de Brisas and had a very good time. It has everything you need, even if you have small children. It would have been a little hard to fine (street names are a formality not used a lot in Vieques) were it not for the excellent directions supplied with the checkin instructions. Bedrooms are A/C if you want, but the home is cooled quite nicely by the Caribbean. Would stay there again without reservation (pun intended). It's remote while being close enough to everything to feel like you are part of the island. Fantastic property.

We greatly enjoyed our stay Colina de Brisas on Vieques. The house was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. It was quite convenient and despite being located in a quiet, private setting, Isabel II could be reached in 5 minutes by car. Since there were only two of us, we only used the master bedroom. However, the other two bedrooms and second bath could easily enable 3 couples or an expanded family to stay without feeling cramped. The large balcony was lovely and enabled us to see surrounding trees with several of the largest iguana we have ever seen. The manager of the property, Jared, was extremely helpful in giving us suggestions for beaches and restaurants. Any text or call to Jared was returned within 15 minutes. The car rented with the house has 4 wheel drive and is a very convenient addition. Jared picked us up and dropped us off with the car at the Vieques airport. Roads in Vieques were surprisingly well-maintained for a small Caribbean island. The only need for 4 wheel drive is to reach some of the most secluded beaches such as Green Beach.

From the moment we contacted the property owner, the follow up, meeting the property manager, arrival coordination, sanitation of the premises, availability of needed supplies to ensure we enjoyed the island stay, location and beautiful accommodations, to the departure arrangement and after stay follow up. OUTSTANDING!!!

We were a family of 7 (adults) and from the moment we walked in to Colina de Brisas we were comfortable and relaxed. It is a lovely, clean, spacious home with breezes and lots of bird and frog noises.

My family of 5 (3 kids ages 7, 9, and 11) and parents stayed at this house for spring break in 2014. We had an amazing time. The owner and property managers were AMAZING! The owner provided so much valuable information prior to and during our stay and the house managers were so accommodating. I can't put into words how great our stay was....... Highly recommend this house. Can't wait to come back!

We are a family of 4, which includes to adlut kids. It was pleasant superise to find out that the picture's is what we were hopeing for. The house is great, well maintained, the beadrooms are big & comfortable. The only draw backs at the place was that there is no TV reception, but they have plenty DVD & games after you get back from your day's activities. If your not use to the sound of wildlife & night it could bother you, but we slpet like new borns. We felt very secure alarm system. We didn't have a car for the first two days, but that was ok because we were within walking distance (10mins) of Isabel II. Our first night we eat at Richard's cafe good food, great rum punch. For dinner a must is Trade Winds, breakfast Roy's Cafe & Internet, lunch Bananas & Williams Pizza's. If you want to hang out at a bar for small talk with the locals & tourtist Al's Mar Azul is the place to be. The people are friendly & full of lots of info on where to go & what to see. You do need a taxit or car to get to the beaches. Sun Bay was fun but crowed the locals said it's the most people they seen in a long time, Red Beach is nicer, but Blue Beach was the place to be, only about 50 people there. they have Gazbo's like Sun Bay, but unlike Sun Bay no bathroom's. But don't let that stop you it's by far the best beach to go too. The caretakers at the rental Patirck & Pat are great, always available to reach by phone & very helpful. From what I've heard from other renters else where car rentals were very high, but we got a great deal from Patrick far better then going thru a car rental place. Make friends with the taxi driver who pick you up from the airport, they will be available to take back when time to leave & we took the taxi from Luis Muniz airport to Fajardo. We took the ferry to Vieques which we recommend. I would also like to thank the owner Renee' Chandler she was also a phone call away. Your place is beautful. Thanks again.

The view was beautiful at all times, everything we needed for our stay was available. Fully equipped and spacious, the air conditioning was a blessing after a day at the beach. Ease of reservation process was great. The responsiveness of the property manager was exceptional. Would recommend this property without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time in Vieques and a large part of that had to do with Colina de brisas. It literally had everything that you would need to enjoy a day at the beach and be able to come home and cook a great meal. Renee was very helpful in securing the place and the property managers also had additional information to help with the stay. Highly recommended!

Clean and well- kept, it was such a relaxing place to come back to after enjoying the beaches and restaurants on the island. Renee was friendly and very helpful! For our third trip to the phenomenal island of Vieques, my husband and I chose Colina de Brisas as our home away from home. From the very beginning of the rental process we were extremely impressed by how easy and professional the owner Renée Chandler made things. The website’s photos and information was wonderfully comprehensive, the information they needed from us was requested via easy to fill out forms, they accept PayPal, and answers to questions and confirmations were sent immediately.When the date of our trip was near, we were sent terrific verbal and visual directions (that ultimately navigated us to the home flawlessly), as well as were given the opportunity to select our own entrance code in lieu of a key. We loved the simplicity of not needing to worry about keeping track of a key on the beaches!Our arrival at Colina de Brisas took our breath away! The views from the enormous veranda are even more stunning than the website can give them credit for. The home is bright, airy, spacious, exceedingly comfortable, meticulously clean, and had all of the amenities we could ever imagine desiring. There is an easy to use home security system and a safe in the bedroom. The kitchen was huge and vastly stocked with more cooking and dining supplies than we could even get around to using. The two (that’s right, two) bathrooms had massive counter and storage space, as well as great lighting. The volume of bathroom towels and beach towels available to us was astonishing. We particularly enjoyed the wide array of DVDs, Playstation games, books, and board games available for our use during the stay. We really appreciated having use of the in-house washer and dryer so that we could pack far less than we normally would for the trip. Colina de Brisas also has a big selection of beach bags, coolers, chairs, body boards, and other fun supplies we made full use of. In conclusion, we have never had a better experience dealing with a renter, nor stayed at such a magnificently beautiful, perfectly appointed home. Renée Chandler and Colina de Brisas have ruined us for all other possible vacation rentals!

We had a very nice stay. The view from the verandah is beautiful. The drive to the beaches on the south side is only 10-15 minutes, and the restaurants in Isabel II are very accessible. This vacation rental gives a good value for your $.
