Comfy apartment About 30/40 min from nearby attractions/parks/hikes/ lakes/ villages

Actually everything. The apartment was extremely clean, cosy, and it made us feel at home. The house is a beautiful example of the french architecture. Although it was situated near the main street there wasn't any noise pollution. The stars on the sky in the evening were amazing - something that "homo-citycus" doesn't see anymore nowadays. Thank you Gregory for putting so much effort to turn a simple country-house into a place that just begs you to stay longer and forget about the rest of your life.

I can't go there every week.

Lovely, spacious and quiet apartment, spotlessly clean, recently renovated, very comfortable, we loved it! Grégory, our host, was very nice and helpful, extremely accommodating too (he graciously allowed the presence of our two cats, despite previous unpleasant experiences he had with other pets in the apartment, we appreciated this very much!) We found everything we needed for a very pleasant stay of more than a week. We slept very well, as the bed is big and comfy, and the house is in a lovely quiet corner of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, albeit only a few minutes walk to the Tourism office, Super U, shops, bakery and restaurants. The house itself is also lovely and very well kept, with a huge garden near a brook (garden is made available to the guests, you can even barbecue, everything is provided!). Excellent value, would definitely go back and recommend!

Nice property situated at the end of the town. Garden is huge snd beautiful and fully closed off and so perfect for kids and your pet dog! The owner Greg was tip top.. even prepared the bbq for us. Recommended place to stay 👍

Easy to find, host waiting on arrival and very helpful. Lovely residents next door gave us toys for our children to play with. Large green space out the back of the property with outdoor seating. Fully equipped with everything we needed, Easy parking and well secured. Modern and well finished, recently renovated. Lovely views, very quiet.

We were given the wrong keys on check in so couldn't leave the property for dinner as we had no way to lock the apartment or the building, and no way to get back in if other residents locked the building if we left. The host did correct this that evening though and was very apologetic. No curtains on living room windows, and shutters for both rooms quite difficult to reach to close. Not enough towels for the number of guests, and no handtowel in the bathroom. Minor issues, we enjoyed our stay very much.
