Le mazet est très bien équipé jusque dans les petits détails sauf les 2 douches laissant à désirer. Ce qui le point le plus négatif c'est l’environnement, chaussée avec grand trafic. Extérieur de la maison pas soigné.

Excellent séjour passé dans cette super maison avec un beau jardin

Le Mazet...on s'y sent bien. Ce petit mas a un charme fou, il est superbement meublé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Sa situation privilégiée est un atout supplémentaire (10 mn à pied du centre historique d'Uzès). Nous y avons séjourné pendant 3 semaines et avons passé d'excellentes vacances. L'hôte du Mazet nous a très bien accueillis, sa gentillesse mais aussi sa discrétion nous ont nous ont vraiment touchés. Un grand merci !!!!! Véronique & Nicolas

Rachel ist eine hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin. Der Kontakt verlief reibungslos und schnell. Das Haus und der Garten haben eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Es sind auch Dinge vorhanden, die in vielen Ferienwohnungen fehlen z. B Auflagen für Liegen, Tischdecken. Es gibt Bücher und Leselampen im Wohnraum. In 10 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß das Zentrum Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage an der Straße,man hört tagsüber den Verkehr deutlich. Nachts ist es ruhiger

This was a very charming old Mas property with all the amenities: modern bathrooms and all the comforts (double beds) and lovely terrace for meals. The location is also superb as you need only to walk around 7-8 minutes from the house before you arrive directly at the Place aux Herbes in the heart of Uzes. Also Rachel was a great host making us feel quite at home and, whilst being very discreet, was full of good advice and excellent recommendations on what to see and visit in the Uzes region whenever our paths crossed.

Le mazet était très agréable, très bien décoré, climatisé et surtout très bien situé par rapport au centre ville, accessible à pied. Notre hôtesse, Rachel, nous a fort bien reçus et a su nous expliquer l'histoire de la ville et de ses environs. Elle était vraiment sympathique, nous reviendrons certainement avec grand plaisir. Sehr schöne, gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung! Alles da! Die Wohnung liegt fussläufig von der schönen Innenstadt Uzes entfernt (ca. 10 Minuten). Rachel ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die auch gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der näheren Umgebung geben kann. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour durant ces 2 semaines passées à Uzès. Pour les amoureux de vieilles pierres, le Mazet est décoré avec goût et plein de charme, il dispose de tout l’équipement nécessaire pour se sentir comme à la maison. Le jardin et la terrasse sont un plus pour profiter des belles journées ensoleillées. Très bien situé, à 10 minutes à pieds du centre historique d’Uzès et de sa fameuse place aux herbes, on peut profiter d’un des plus beaux villages de la région. La propriétaire est très agréable et est toujours à l’écoute pour vous donner des bons conseils sur les activités ou les promenades (pont du Gard proche, Nimes, Vézènobres). Encore un grand merci à Rachel pour ces très bonnes vacances !

Charmante propriété, propre,confortable et bien équipée, située à seulement 10 minutes à pieds de ville d'Uzès. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil de Rachel, ses nombreux et judicieux conseils sur les visites à faire dans la région, sa grande disponibilité ainsi que sa grande discrétion. Nous avons passé au clos des Avettes de merveilleuses vacances et espérons pouvoir un jour y retourner !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 2 semaines dans un mazet bien agréable avec sa terrasse côté cuisine et son jardin. La climatisation a été fortement appréciée en période caniculaire. La propriétaire très sympathique a été de bons conseils pour découvrir la région.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen, alles drin, was man braucht und nichts Überflüssiges, was nur stört. Alles was man braucht ist fußläufig zu erreichen, und natürlich auch die Altstadt, damit es nicht bei einem Glas Rosé bleiben muss... Dankeschön an Rachel, die perfekte Gastgeberin: immer da, wenn nötig und ansonsten unsichtbar! Merci à Rachel de tout coeur!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Rachael to her cute little mazet - it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Rachael was a wealth of information on places to visit and restaurants to eat at and left us discreetly to our own resources most of the time. The mazet is perfectly located so close to the town of Uzés, a 10 minute stroll or 4 minute drive. A lovely holiday!

The cottage was private with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Rachel the owner was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Uzes itself was a great place - we were there for the local 'bull running' festival (very exciting!). It had a great market, and lovely restaurants. The surrounding area was beautiful with vineyards and small fortified hilltop towns. A great place to stay.

We spent a magnificent week this April at Rachel's mazet in Uzès. Rachel was helpful from the very beginning, giving us clear directions to her home, in plenty of time. Upon our arrival she treated us as friends, while also giving us total privacy. She made many suggestions for places to visit, both in Uzès and farther away, that made each day unique. Uzès is a beautiful town and for us each trip into town brought something new. It was just a short walk into the center from the house, so fresh bread or a nice meal was easily accessed. The house itself was perfect for our family of four. Inside it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Outside we enjoyed both relaxing in the blooming garden and dining on the patio. Our kids loved the pets next door, and are still talking about the turtles. On our last morning they were invited to pick cherries on Rachel's tree which made lunch on our drive home exceptionally delicious. Thank you Rachel for your kindness and for making our vacation so special! We hope to return soon.

Rachel's Mazet is characterful, comfortable and clean. It is set in a lovely garden full of flowers in which to relax after a day in the town (10 minutes walk) or further afield (good bus service to Nimes or Avignon if you do not have a car). Rachel met us when we arrived and took us shopping; she was very kind but unobtrusive. If we wanted anything she was there to help. We did not bother to eat out because there is a good traiteur nearby in the Passage Marchand (near the main car park) which offers ready-cooked meals to take away. Highly recommended!

A truly delightful experience staying at Rachel's mazet ! The place was so picturesque. A superb modern kitchen and two bathrooms with every facility,very spacious bedroom, dining and lounge areas, immaculately clean and very well maintained. Two, indeed three, outside areas to relax in a garden filled with the delights of Provence. The description of the accommodation was exactly as described and photographed online.....even better! We highly recommend stayng here for many reasons apart from the high standard of accommodation. For the countless sites to visit easily within a day including Arles, Avignon, Nimes, the fascinating surrounding villages, the beauty and charm of Uzes the centre of which was within easy walking distance Most particularly we were charmed by Rachel - her warmth of welcome, her incredible generosity, her offers of help and consideration for our welfare (too hot for Australians in southern France?....mais non!). We did so much enjoy also her great knowledge of the history and geography of the area which she so willingly shared with us....albeit being always aware of our own privacy and independence. All communications with her at the time of booking were handled spontaneously and most comprehensively. We knew we had a very special holiday coming up. We were not disappointed! We are trying to let all Australia know that this is to be their next holiday destination in France!
