A la fois calme et proche de toute commodité, la maison offre tout le confort nécessaire à un séjour agréable (Nous sommes restés un mois) et des lieux où il faisait bon se reposer ou prendre ses repas (varangue et jardin). Jennifer s'est montrée très attentive à notre satisfaction à l'arrivée et au long du séjour et réactive en cas de nécessité.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans votre agréable villa, bien située à l'extrémité de la plage de trou aux biches à laquelle on accède par le bord de mer. L'ensemble de la villa est fonctionnelle et ses 2 salle d'eau wc, sont très pratique lorsque l'on est nombreux. La literie est correcte, pour nous un peu trop ferme. Une belle terrasse abritée permets de passer de bonnes soirées avec tout le confort, canapé et ses fauteuils, table extérieure. plusieurs lits de plages, tables permettent de profiter du soleil. Marie lourdes est très sympathique,et les différents plats préparés sont tous succulents, un régal. Nous avons fait plusieurs excursions avec Mr Veegen, qui nous a permis de nous balader en toute sécurité, et toujours de bons conseils. Merci pour toutes les prestations. Cordialement.

Gleich vorne weg: Dies war der schönste Platz an dem wir jemals Ferien verbracht haben. Und wir waren schon in Hawaii, Thailand, Sri Lanka. Wir wollen ganz sicher wiederkommen!!! Jennifer hat unseren Transfer organisiert und so wurden wir gleich nach unserer Ankunft von einem freundlichem Fahrer zu unserer Unterkunft gebracht. Nach der freundlichen Begrüßung durch die Vermieterin erklärte sie uns die Technik des Hauses. Dann erkundigte ich Garten und Terrasse. Ich war überwältigt: Der ungestörte Blick über den Ozean, wirklich mindestens 180°, diese Farben, die exotischen, riesigen Bäume, die Palmen und die verspielte, einmalige Architektur des Hauses, einfach ein Traum. Und dann die Sonnenuntergänge: Einfach unbeschreiblich!!! Doch was wäre dies Alles ohne Marie Lourd. Ihr Lachen während sie das Haus besorgte hat immer gleich für gute Stimmung gesorgt. Sehr selten trifft man so freundliche, warmherzige Menschen. Sie ist die Haushälterin aber sie kocht auch manchmal für Gäste, wenn man sie fragt. Sie ist eine hervorragende Köchin und so kamen wir oft in den Genuss original einheimischer Speisen Die Räume des Hauses sind ansprechend groß, die Einrichtung einwandfrei. Die Lage ist einmalig. Nichts verstellt den Blick auf den Ozean. Die Terrasse mit ihrer Einrichtung lädt zum Entspannen ein, wir verbrachten die gesamte Zeit, wenn wir nicht auf Tour waren an diesem fantastischen Platz. Große Hotels sind in der Nähe aber nicht so nahe das ihr Lärm stört. Direkt gegenüber ist ein sehr gutes Grillrestaurant, ein paar Meter weiter ein erstklassiger Italiener, wenn man so etwas auf Mauritius denn will. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein gut sortierter Supermarkt. Noch paar Meter weiter gibt es Geschäfte für Alles und auch eine Apotheke. Noch viel Schönes, über die Freundlichkeit der Bevölkerung gegenüber uns Weißen,trotzt unserer unrühmlichen Taten in der Vergangenheit der Insel, über die Naturwunder könnte ich erzählen. Über das Glück das es Hausbesitzer gibt die auch anderen Menschen die Möglichkeit geben für einige Zeit die schönsten Plätze auf der Welt zu erleben. Deshalb vielen Dank an Jennifer die uns eine so schöne Zeit ermöglicht hat.

This wonderful, quaint, fully equipped house is lovingly maintained and cared for by Jennifer, the owner, and cleaned spotlessly by Marie Lourde every day. Jennifer kept in touch with us when there was cyclone weather to ensure that we were OK. We felt truly welcomed and loved our stay here. The sea is right at the bottom of the small garden and there is easy access to the most amazing beach of Trou Aux Biches. Off the beach we were easily able to swim to the coral beds and snorkel for hours. Do not be put off by the “private area” sign in front of “Le Plage” beach bar…..public use of this beach Club is allowed and we spent time there every day, enjoying cocktails and eating light snacks as well as watching the sunset from their beach beds. The waiters are friendly and welcoming. Within easy walking distance is a great supermarket, Chez PoPo and plenty of good restaurants like International Café, Souvenir, la Caprese and make sure you order Peking Duck at the Chinese Palace. Trou Aux Biches is a very expensive area to rent in but Jennifer’s house is affordable for most budgets and absolute value for money. We are so grateful that we found this Island Gem.

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen im April in Trou aux Biches verbracht und würden am liebsten sofort wieder kommen. Nach unserem langen Flug wurden wir von einem sehr freundlichen Fahrer abgeholt (Jennifer hatte den Transport für uns organisiert). So konnten wir die ersten Eindrücke dieser schönen Insel ohne Linksfahrstress genießen. Jennifer begrüßte uns dann im Haus und hat uns alles gezeigt. Der Kühlschrank war bereits für unsere Ankunft gefüllt und es stand sogar ein richtiges Mittagessen für uns bereit. So sind wir bisher noch nie begrüßt worden. Vielen Dank, Jennifer! Marie-Lordes, die Haushälterin, kam jeden Tag (außer Sonntag) und hat ein bisschen Ordnung in unsere Schuhreihe gebracht ;-) Sie ist die gute Seele und am schönsten ist ihr fröhliches Lachen! Man kann Marie-Lordes auch fragen, ob sie für einen kocht. Das Essen ist soooo lecker und gar nicht teuer! Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt einen kleinen Safe und eine Alarmanlage. Die Klimaanlage in den Schlafräumen sorgt für die nötige Abkühlung in der Nacht. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, die Musik macht, wenn sie fertig ist. In 5 min Entfernung findet man einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und eine sehr gute Pizzeria! Ein Mietwagen ist trotzdem unumgänglich, damit man die Insel auch kennen lernen kann. Links fahren ist gar nicht so schwer. Die Menschen auf Mauritius sind unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind hoffnungslos verliebt in diese Insel und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Wir können dieses tolle Haus an diesem wunderschönen Strand uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Gepflegte Unterkunft. Nette und zuverlässige Gastgeberin. Zuverlässige Hausangestellte, gute Köchin. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Perfekter Ort zum Ausspannen. Verkehrstechnisch gute Lage für Ausflüge.

Nous avons passé des excellentes vacances avec ce séjour dans cette maison très agréable, calme et très propre , parfaitement équipée et disposant d'un emplacement exceptionnel avec un accès direct à la mer et un jardin ombragé devant la maison. La plage est très belle et agréable pour la baignade et la natation. Les couchers de soleil dans l'océan indien sont magnifiques. L'accueil par la propriétaire a été très agréable et chaleureux avec la communication d'informations utiles pour le séjour. Nous avons aussi pu dégusté des plats typiquement mauriciens grâce aux très bonnes preparations de plats de Marie-Lourdes. Nous avons également fait notre propre cuisine en achetant du poisson aux pêcheurs situés juste à proximité au retour de leur pêche. Les commerces et arrêt bus sont très proches. Ce qui nous a permis de visiter facilement différents villages de l'île et d'aller sur différents marchés locaux. Nous recommendons très vivement cette location !

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans ce gîte " les pieds dans l'eau". Il est spacieux, bien équipé et très confortable et nous avons apprécié la connexion internet ainsi que le téléphone qui nous a permis de rester en contact avec la propriétaire qui n'a pas manqué de prendre de nos nouvelles et nous conseiller durant le séjour.La superbe plage de Trou aux Biches est accessible depuis le jardin et les restaurants et commerces sont à proximité. Nous avons apprécié les services du taxi proposé par Mme Fleurot . Il nous attendait à l'aéroport et nous a permis de rejoindre la location sans souci. À notre arrivée en soirée nous avons eu la surprise de trouver un excellent repas préparé par Marie Lourdes, qui nous a d'ailleurs fait découvrir sa cuisine tout au long de la semaine. Sa bonne humeur et ses bons conseils nous ont ravis. Nous recommandons cette location sans retenue et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter si nous revenons sur cette île de rêve

Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour; cette location y a grandement contribué. La maison est conforme au descriptif et aux photos. La vue est magnifique, la terrasse est très agréable et le jardin "pied dans l'eau" est tranquille et idéal pour admirer les couchers de soleil. Bruit des vagues pour nous bercer et chants des oiseaux pour nous réveiller... on a apprécié. N'oublions pas Marie-Lourdes qui vient entretenir parfaitement la maison et qui nous a préparé de délicieux plats locaux que nous étions ravis de trouver le soir après nos journées découvertes de l'île. Et merci à Jennifer pour tous ses bons conseils, depuis la navette transfert aéroport-villa jusqu'aux suggestions de promenades ! Oui, nous vous recommandons cette location ! ! !

Jennifer arranged a taxi transfer for us from the airport and was there on our arrival to show us around and introduce us to Marie-Lourdes. She had thoughtfully given us a starter pack of fruit, cold beer and wine, milk and bread. Arriving mid-morning on a hot day, the cold beer was extremely welcome. The house is very clean and bright, and well maintained, with modern facilities, and very secure and alarmed. The aircon in the bedrooms was a godsend (late March/early April). The garden is kept immaculately clean, and extends right to the water. There is almost no noticeable road noise, as the house is set quite far forward, with a small house between it and the road. I rose at first light every day just to lie on a sunlounger, and take in the view alone with my thoughts before the others awoke. The sandy beach itself is an easy stroll about a hundred yards to the right. Marie-Lourdes sourced and prepared for us a couple of very tasty fish curries and side dishes for a very reasonable fee. Jennifer phoned a couple of times to check we were having a good time, and arranged the taxi transfer back to the airport. She is super-efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I suspect she struggled to understand how we managed to break an oven knob, but graciously let it go. I have stayed in Trou-aux-Biches several times dating back to the eighties, and this was by far the best accommodation and overall experience. We will definitely be back. For those not familiar with Mauritius, Trou-aux-Biches is on the drier, sunnier and least windy side of the island, with excellent snorkelling over the reef, and the beach has a lovely, relaxed vibe. Make sure you catch the samosa man at 12 noon sharp on the beach, and do ask for the chilli sauce on his very tasty vegetarian samosas. Popo’s supermarket is much expanded and modernised since I first patronised it in the eighties, and is only a couple of hundred yards away. The size of the excellent pizzas at the pizza restaurant next to Popos is stupendous. If you ask for the family sized, you will be amazed. Just behind the property – but not close enough to hear – is a relaxed South-African run bar and restaurant. So all, in all, perfectly placed. Thank you Jennifer.

Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in einem tollen Haus direkt am Indischen Ozean verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses direkt am tollen Strand und türkisblauem Meer ist ideal. Morgens kann man den Fischern beim Angeln zusehen und am Abend genießt man von der Terasse aus den Sonnenuntergang. Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bushaltestelle etc sind fussläufig erreichbar. Besonders lobenswert waren die kreolischen Kochkünste der liebenswerten Haushälterin Marie Lourdes die wir mehrfach genossen haben. Auch war nach dem langen Nachtflug schon alles für das erste Frühstück eingekauft. Es war ein wirklich perfekter Urlaub und ......ich komme wieder.

La location est absolument superbe pour un prix raisonnable, idéalement située, la maison est très bien agencée et équipée pour accueillir une famille. Le jardin est charmant et la vue splendide. Tout est très bien entretenu par Marie-Lourdes qui est très gentille...Les pêcheurs sont là tous les matins pour notre pur bonheur et ce côté authentique...Bref nous sommes sous le charme et reviendrons très certainement. Une bonne adresse qu'il faut préserver...Merci encore pour l'accueil et vive Trou-aux-biches !

Je pense que tout est dit dans les commentaires des autres vacanciers. Je suis toujours très inquiet lorsque je ne lis que des appréciations positives au point que je souscris souvent une assurance. Dans le cas présent je ne l’ai pas fait et ne regrette rien car tout est vraiment conforme. L’accueil, la gentillesse toute particulière de Marie-Lourdes qui est une vraie fée « du logis » mais également du repas. L’emplacement de la maison est idéal, un petit supermarché à proximité, des restaurants typiques et des pêcheurs à qui l’on peut acheter du poisson lors de leur retour de mer, une pure merveille. Je fais court car il y a vraiment trop de choses à dire, donc un grand merci à tous et à une prochaine fois.

Confortable villa de 3 chambres à deux pas de la superbe plage de Trou-aux-biches et suffisamment en retrait pour ne pas être ennuyé par les vacanciers. Tous commerces à proximité. Jennifer, propriétaire de la maison, est vraiment accueillante. Elle a rédigé un feuillet de tous les bons plans sur place. Ses précieuses recommandations s'ajoutent à sa sympathie et son sens de l'accueil. Possibilité de cuisine locale livrée sur place ou à chercher à proximité

Séjour de rêve, dans un cadre superbe, tout est conforme à la description. La location est très propre, bien située (tout près de l'arrêt de bus, proche de l'épicerie chez Popo ). La grande plage de Trou aux Biches est "aux pieds" de la villa et permet toutes les activités et attractions propres à la mer (parachute ascensionnel, promenades en bateau, pêche, plongée, etc...). La propriétaire Jennifer est adorable, très à l'écoute et de bons conseils. La femme de ménage Marie-Lourde très sérieuse, très gentille. Elle nous a d'ailleurs "concocté" quelques délicieux repas mauriciens .. Sans hésitation, nous recommanderons cette location à tous nos amis !
