The Little Red Cabin! Less than 15 minutes to Okemo! Close to Everything VT!
Nuestra cabaña de dos habitaciones y un baño recibió una renovación refrescante. Súper cómodas habitaciones con amplio espacio de estilo familiar. ¡La hermosa estufa de leña te mantendrá caliente y es probable que te sientas cómodo! ¡Trae tus pantuflas más cómodas para entrar realmente en un ambiente relajado de vacaciones! Ubicado en 5 acres en Cavendish, estás a solo 15 minutos de Okemo pero obtienes la auténtica experiencia de Vermont. Perfecto para una familia de cuatro y damos la bienvenida a grupos de cuatro con una cama queen y literas. El WiFi y un televisor inteligente están listos y le recomendamos que disfrute de la atmósfera y la belleza natural. Como puede no ser obvio, ¡los nuevos sofás se reclinan para mayor comodidad! The cabin was well equiped for a cozy relaxing stay in the fall. Located on back roads, the traffic which goes by the cabin is very minimal, and the location gave us a glimpse of Vermont that probably most tourists don't get to see. We used it mostly as a base camp to drive around the state to find the autumn foliage hot spots. But then when it got dark, the cabin living space was very comfortable to wind down for the night in front of the woodstove. I very much would recommend this cabin for anyone who's looking for a quiet place in the mountains.

The listing was accurate as written. Pictures were representative of what we found. The listing does not show the bathroom, which is literally about 5' by 6'. If you are a big person, this will be a sore spot. Don't plan on shaving your legs in the shower.
An easy drive to places of interest and we found the hostess very responsive.
I have learned to not only look at what you see in the listing, but what you don't see.
I would rate this listing as a 4+.

The perfect quiet getaway spot! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to relax and getaway before a hectic spring/summer schedule starts. It was amazing.
Only downside is that there wasn’t a microwave.
Other than that we can’t wait to see when we can come back!

It was quite nice. We went during November. The power went out on us once in the afternoon due to wind and snowfall, but it was working again by morning. I'd recommend preparing for a power outage, just in case; learn how to work the woodstove and have some water handy, etc.

The home was lovely and well taken care of. The one draw back was that we had to read endless lists of directions via the app messages or signs posted on the refrigerator or elsewhere. And some of the directions scolded you like a child. (I.e. not putting wet towels on the floor or bed "Cmon") Really? Threatening extra fees for not stripping the beds or leaving food in the fridge? The atmosphere was really wonderful, but the fear of getting extra fees for some random thing we might have missed... Not conducive to a relaxing get away. The host dealing with some of those things is the cost of doing business. I suggest you communicate everything in one location (except the combination) in advance and respectfully. I didnt want to have to keep checking my app just in case.

Our weekend getaway at the Little Red Cabin was wonderful! We really enjoyed the opportunity to relax outside in the Adirondack chairs and grill our supper outdoors. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a chill vacation.

This was our second visit to this little cabin and we loved it even more than last time. It's so quiet and peaceful, the yard is lovely, and so close to so many fun things to do!

The Little Red Cabin welcomes you warmly, ready to enjoy off the beaten path rest and relaxation. Quiet, birdsong, moon and stars, long walks seeing stone walls, local bovine, old cemetery. Cottage has all the essentials needed for a visit: comfy couches, chair, local info materials, thorough directions on property use. Outside bench for morning coffee, evening relaxation. Netflix and videos available along with many games for extra fun. Cabin out in the woods, but still near Ludlow, Okemo, restaurants, hiking. I will be returning again for some snow time R&R. Hosts easy to contact, quick replies if needed. The cabin welcomes you and almost waves goodbye. Bring binoculars for some bird watching.

We had a peaceful time time at this beautiful little cabin. It was the perfect place for our little summer trip -- so much beautiful nature and good food nearby. On days in, we enjoyed cooking (thanks to the well-equipped kitchen) and relaxing (thanks to the comfiest couch and plenty of board games).

Quiet and comfortable
We loved this stay and would have liked to stay longer. The little red cabin had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing family stay. The only downside was the microsized bathroom, but we made it work!!

Comfortable except for the shower stall
Everything was as described, excellent coffee, board games under the coffee table - and only 1/2 mile from a field of clover that gave us memorable star gazing every night. Too bad the bathroom shower is an elbow bumper. Don't drop the soap if you are over 5'4!

This place was a great home base for a weekend trip to Vermont. I kind of wish we'd had more time to hang out at the house because it was SO cozy! Highly recommend.

Quiet relaxing weekend
This was a great place to stay. Everything there that you could possibly need and then some! Owner was very nice and left notes for how to start woodstove and operate TV. We had a great time and plan to return in the future.

Place was clean and had everything we need (did miss a microwave for popcorn but all good) . We where a little bummed about Long Trail brewery not being open but there was plenty of other places. Over all really enjoyed the stay, thanks again Marina!

Cutest cabin but....it was a bit uncomfortable for all of us due to the ants all over everything. I know its deep in the woods. Im well aware of more insects etc...but that was a HUGE pain for us. The owners were extremely responsive and rushed over to try to solve the issue. Communication was wonderful. But the ants definitely took over during our stay unfortunately
