The cottage was perfect for our family weekend away. It had everything we needed and more! We thoroughly enjoyed the house, beach and lake.

Your cottage is a great place for family. Nice sandy beach for the little ones on a beautiful lake that wasn’t overly busy. We had fun fishing, boating, taking the girls tubing, kayaking, making s'mores by the fire and enjoying a couple of beautiful sunsets. Nice to relax and be together in such a comfortable cottage.

First time on Upper Crooked Lake and we loved it. The house was exactly how it was listed and was perfect for our family. Tons of beds for everyone. The beach was great for the little kids and the patio/fire pit was great! The inside made it feel like you were at the Beach. Communication was great with the Owner. Highly recommend this place!

Incredible week long stay at Brenda's Beach House with 6 adults and 7 kids of all ages. Great communication. Easy check in process. Stocked with nearly everything our large group needed for a week at the lake including amazing sunsets! Our group is already discussing our next trip back.

This was our 8th stay and the property is amazing! The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our group of 14 stays right on site all week and we are never bored! The owner is very responsive, the beach and lake are incredible and the house is so comfortable and the views are perfect!

This lake house really checked all the boxes for our family of 10: nicely remodeled home, close to the water, very well appointed home and kitchen, fire pit with plenty of wood, clean, boat at the dock, great owner, nice local stores, great fishing all week, and comfortable beds and linens. We will be back next summer, thank you!

Had a great time. My 4 grandsons enjoyed the fishing, swimming, and playing games in the spacious cottage. Loved the kitchen—well stocked with dishes, etc., a lot of bedrooms, and ample living spaces. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed the freedom to cruise around the lake and fish in different areas. All ready planning on returning next year.

We had a fabulous time, as always. This was our 3rd year in a row. Only a few recommendations to improve upon, a few we've mentioned in the past. The upstairs shower door needs replaced. It is nearly impossible to get out of once inside. We had a few kids screaming for help and a toddler with a pinched hand. As an adult, I too struggled to open it every time. The bedrooms could really use actual blinds on them for light blocking - for those that go to bed early (kids) and those that try to sleep in (adults). Lots of loose door handles throughout, including the back slider. The kitchen cabinets and closets could use a good thorough clean out. Lots of small appliances that are no longer working and a hodge podge of chipped and/or broken dishes and utensils. Bedding and pillows have seen better days and coule really use some updating. This was our only real complaint this year: we had to strip almost all the beds the first night after pulling the covers back. They had sand, hair, and other various stains throughout. Also, no s'mores this year with the picture frame like last year. Oversight? Overall, this is a great space, great home, and we plan to come back again and again. Our annual family tradition of coming here is something we look forward to and upon arriving, it's like coming home. It's familiar, comfortable, and so relaxing. Only a few misses on details that would go a really long way if addressed! Brett and Greg are both great and a joy to interact with.

An amazing home that was perfect for our family. Beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. Look across the lake in the fall for an amazing display of colors while swans swim by. Relaxing and centrally located to area attractions.

We had a great Labor Day weekend, everything was great, we fished, swam, golfed, and enjoyed evening cruises on the pontoon!

Our 2nd year in a row and it was great again!!! Being so close to town and having the boat at the end of the dock is outstanding! Highly recommend!!!

Our family had a fun week on the lake, the kids enjoyed the sand & clean water, and with all the windows & slider facing the water, the adults could easily keep an eye on them. Brett was very helpful in any issues that came up, & made us feel welcome. It was nice to have the pontoon boat for tubing & exploring the lake. Providing free firewood was also a plus, as we enjoyed a fire every night. Julie, the neighbor was also very helpful. All in all, we would stay here again.

We had a great week at Brenda’s Beach House. It was very clean and it is the most well stocked cottage we have ever rented. We had one issue with the plumbing and it was taken care of very quickly by Greg, the property manager. The sandy shallow water was perfect for the little girls and they caught all kinds of fish right off the dock. A wonderful cottage with plenty of room for everyone. It was so great, we hope to come back next year, too!

We had a great time at this beach house. There was plenty of room for 12 of us and kitchen was huge. We enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful view.

This is a very nice house on the lake with all the amenities (comforts of home) for a memorable family vacation. Lots of space for family to gather. Nice sandy area and big shallow water front with sandy bottom. It was great for all kids (ages 1 - 35) and big enough for the kids to have their own space.

This was our 6th year and we had another amazing week! There are been some really nice updates done to the property and the new property manager was very helpful! We have 14 of us and spread from ages 5weeks to 62 and every person had a great time, we never left the house/beach all week!

Property was great. Actually much better than the pictures on line. They have made upgrades. We enjoyed the lake and the boat.

Lots of improvements from last year's visit. The beach area was a hit! The house is perfect for our large family. Great space, very clean, well-maintained. Looking forward to next year!

With the caretaker right next door you get an immediate remedy to any issue or question. Good fishing and clear water! We will be back next year.

My whole family, 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children had a wonderful week again. This is our second year at Brenda's beach house. They made several improvements, both inside and outside. The house is very large, perfect for all of us--multiple bedrooms and a large eating area with a table that can seat all of us. The kitchen is easy to use with all of the amenities. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, relaxing by the water. We hope to go again next year.

I don't think the pictures did this place justice. it was awesome. the beach was awesome for the kids. endless supplies of sunnies of the end of the dock made it super fun for the kids to fish. property manager communicated well. Also the neighbors was super helpful and nice.

The house was perfectly situated on the lake. We had lots of opportunity for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating. We enjoyed every minute of the outdoor experience!

Great stay! Loved the house and everything! Needs upgrades on the beds but that is all I would suggest! Overall wonderful week!

We just got back from a week of having a great time at Brenda's Beach House. Should be Brenda's BEST Beach House. My wife and I have memories of staying at lake cottages as children. I am happy to say we created new memories with my sons and their families, especially my granddaughter, who really loved the beach and water. Thank you very much!!!

Have rented this property multiple times. Home is a hidden gem in a very small, quiet town. Home is exceptionally clean, and has a surprising amount of room. We rented the pontoon as an extra fee, and enjoyed rides multiple times a day

My family just finished a one week stay at Branda’s beach house and the place is amazing! The lake is very quite even in the peak summer season. We rented the pontoon and tubed the kids on the lake a lot, very few boat traffic and always plenty of room. The lake in front of the house is shallow and has a naturally sandy bottom. We have stayed in plenty of Michigan lake houses to see how rare that is. Very safe for kids to swim in. Lake is extremely clean, again right at the top of the many lakes we stayed in Michigan. Bluegill right under the dock for kids to fish. We caught bass off the dock too. House is situated in the perfect position to see glorious lake sunset. Owner provides plenty of firewood for the fire pit. I don’t see any geese which is a plus too. (Can’t count how many similar places are filled with geese droppings, which make you worry when kids play right next). Overall the natural location of this place is perfect, it has everything you want from a lake house and none of the things you don’t. Inside the house the furniture is a bit dated, the mattresses are not the best quality but really, you won’t mind those minor imperfections. Also need to remember bring your own dishwasher soap and laundry soap, as well as shampoo, etc.

We enjoyed our time at Brenda’s. The indoor space and bedrooms was great and the 2 bunk rooms was perfect for all the kids in the family. The water is great for swimming and they had a sandbox for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and they had a lot of board games and puzzles to play with. We rented a boat from the neighbor and had some trouble starting it but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. A few things that were not included was dishwasher soap, laundry soap and shampoo/conditioner. Our only complaint is all the mattresses were very old and very squeaky so not the best to sleep on. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go there again!

Great property right on the lake. Loved the sand beach and pontoon boat. Kids had a blast!
