El apartamento atípico y luminoso en el segundo y último piso de nuestra casa de la familia reformada de 1900 en preservar el encanto de lo antiguo a 4 km del centro de Estrasburgo, en el pueblo de Eckbolsheim, una ciudad contigua Estrasburgo también los alrededores.
Conveniencia real a la llegada y el desplazamiento:
- tranvía de la línea D 7 minutos a pie de la casa y familia de autobús nº 4 a 50m
- Estación está a 3,5 km directamente accesible en tranvía D
- Aeropuerto 10 km

Nuestra ubicación hace que sea una base ideal para explorar Estrasburgo y Alsacia, los Vosgos y Alemania incluso incursiones de hermoso Bosque Negro, Baden Baden, etc ....
Cerca de la ciudad y el campo, también se puede disfrutar del carril bici hermosa Bruche que le permite, a través del campo para reunir Molsheim, los Vosgos o Offenburg, en Alemania, a los pies del Bosque Negro. Bicicletas disponibles.
Los niños no son olvidados en nuestra región: pueden aprender sobre la ciencia mientras se divierten familia en la nave en Estrasburgo tienen la cabeza en las estrellas en el Planetario o navegar en el río Ill por barco por el río .... Los más pequeños podrán visitar la granja de mascotas en Fort Kléber en Wolfisheim, cerca de casa .... o alimentar a los monos en libertad de Montaña de los monos, descubrir los lobos blancos al parque Santa Cruz o para hacer sustos o no Europapark 45 minutos de casa.

The apartment was perfect, the owners were wonderful, and the area is easy to travel throughout due to excellent public transportation. The food and wine are fantastic, and the people are very friendly. We took a Walking Food Tour and Wind Tour, both were outstanding. Enjoy!

Very nice apartment outside of Strasbourg. Excellent hosts. The apartment was well supplied and in excellent condition. A short walk to tram or bus into town and near a grocery store (Norma). Whether you want to get out and about or just hang out and relax—we did both—this is a good choice. After a week in small hotel rooms it was nice to have a home like place. Marianne is very attentive and if you’re lucky as we were she’ll treat you to her own preserves and Alsatian pastries!

Our stay at Marianne’s place was wonderful. She greeted us with a homemade kugelhopf and homemade jams😊. All excellent! The Apartment is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and was easy to cook in. The views of her lush garden was such a treat. And the place is quiet at night - unlike the downtown Strasbourg place we stayed prior to renting Marianne’s apartment. We were able to walk to several locations and the tram was just about 10 min away so we could get to many places easily! If you are very lucky Marianne might show you her amazing antique wood burning stove and oven. If you like to cook like I do, you will be impressed with this 1904 stove!

This is great place to stay while visiting Strasbourg and surrounding locations. Maryanne is thoughful and gracious host. Her homemade treats are delicious. The accomidation is an 8 minute walk to the CTS Tram and a 2 minute walk to discount grocery. We would definitely stay again and reccomend this place.

We had a delightful stay with Marianne and her husband. After many weeks travelling, the quiet 3-night stay a short tram-ride outside of La Petite France (Strasbourg) rejuvenated us. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed (including for making evening meals), well functioning air conditioning, clean clean, and a lovely balcony overlooking the lovely garden for breakfast and evening relaxing.
Marianne was there to settle us in even though we arrived very late -- and even helped us with breakfast that first morning. She educated us in basic Strasbourg/Alsace history through pictures of the historical house and family. She and her husband were so welcoming and helpful, directing us to local stores, tram stops, getting early morning taxi etc. Not to speak of a little gift of tasty tomatoes from their garden! They clearly have experience welcoming guests — they perfectly mix friendliness with professionalism. We look forward to seeing you again, Marianne, for a bike ride along the canal! Vraiment un grand "merci".

Lovely time in eckbolsheim
Have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years. We have only once had such gracious hosts as Marianne and Ali. Marianne picked us up from the train station. Throughout the week she left little surprise dishes for us to try. Apricot tarts were amazing. Her and Ali had us down for snacks one evening and throughly enjoyed talking with them. Their property is right by the tram and tram runs right into Strausbourg. Nice to stay in quiet area when we return home. We even walked into town a couple of times along canal. About 3 miles. Also easy to take tram to train station if you want to explore more of Alsace. Enjoyed every minute. Also have lovely balcony that I could read on every morning. Thanks for everything

Wonderful accommodation, wonderful hosts!
This place is truly amazing---beautiful inside and out. The balcony provided gorgeous sunset and distant mountain views (on clear days), and plenty of stork sightings (we saw over 30 storks from the balcony). Everything in the home is as described, and the location is very near both the tram to downtown Strasbourg and a canal bike path, which stretches for miles and miles (into Strasbourg, and away towards tons of villages). We borrowed bikes on three days to explore the path--this was one of our 14 year old's favorite part of our trip in France. If you want to explore Strasbourg, but prefer a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place to stay, consider booking Marianne and Ali's accommodation. They are truly wonderful hosts, with a beautiful and private top floor ready for guests.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans l'appartement de Marianne et Ali. Il se situe au deuxième étage de leur belle maison avec jardin. Très clair, très propre et tout à fait confortable, il est extrêmement calme et silencieux.
A cela , il faut ajouter la qualité de l'accueil de Marianne et d'Ali: très disponibles, d'une grande gentillesse, et cherchant à tout faire pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir chez eux lors de notre prochain séjour.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour de 4 jours dans l'appartement de Marianne. Proche de toutes commodités et du tramway qui mène directement au centre de Strasbourg. Très pratique pour les visites. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Rien ne manquait pour une famille de 2 adultes / 2 enfants. Marianne et sont mari sont vraiment charmants, flexibles, à l'écoute et prêts à répondre à toutes vos questions !

Ecrin de paix et de verdure
Je recherchais un lieu pour allier depaysement et temps de travail, je ne fut nullement déçu.
Aux pieds des commerces, des bus, du tram, cet appartement a de très nombreux atous. Ajouté à cela des propriétaires aux petits soins pour les locataires. Un grand merci pour cette superbe semaine.

Appartement charmant au 2e étage de la maison de Marianne, spacieux, fonctionnel, propre. Marianne et son mari sont également charmants avec chaque jour une douceur sucrée cuisinée et de bons conseils.

L'appartement est idéalement situé avec le tram très proche. Le logement est bien entretenu et possède beaucoup de charme. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils, accueillants et conseillent très bien pour découvrir la région.

Ausflug zu Marianne und Ali
Wir haben die Gastfreundlichkeit von Marianne und Ali sehr geschätzt und haben eine schöne Zeit bei Ihnen verbracht.
Die Wohnung war sauber und hell. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Böden, Türen, Balken und Treppen aus Holz fanden wir sehr schön und gemütlich. Ali und Marianne haben uns zum Nulltarif Fahrräder ausgeliehen und waren uns immer behilflich bei Reparaturen (wir hatten zweimal platte Reifen gefahren).

Tolle und herzliche Gastgeber, schöne Ferienwohnung
Eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem, was benötigt wird und mehr, als man erwarten darf.
Wir waren mit einem einjährigen Kind da. Marianne und Ali hatten einen Wickeltisch, ein Babybett und einen Hochstuhl bereit gestellt.
Die Wohnung ist hell und groß.
Marianne und Ali sind sehr nett und man fühlt sich jederzeit sehr herzlich willkommen. Zwei tolle und nette Menschen, die uns einen wunderbar schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehle die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.

La casa es preciosa, muy cuidada y limpia, muy bien sitiada para ir fácilmente a Strasbourg, El recibimiento que te hacen sus propietarios no puede ser mas acogedor.

La maison est belle, très bien entretenue et propre, très bien assiégée pour aller facilement à Strasbourg, l'accueil de ses propriétaires ne peut pas être plus accueillant.
Marianne, la propriétaire, est au courant de tout si nous passons quelques jours de plus dans cette maison où nous finissons par faire partie de sa famille.

I'm so glad I read the other positive reviews about this property and decided we should stay here rather than in downtown Strasbough. I can't speak highly enough about hosts Marianne and Ali. They both gave us the warmest welcome, took time to advise us when we had questions about sightseeing, and made us feel like we were part of their family. They were both very gracious, allowing me plenty of opportunities to practice my somewhat rusty French.
The apartment is not only charming but clean, very comfortable & spacious. It was particularly nice having such a large, modern kitchen and a washing machine. And it was great having tourist info. literature available to look through.
This is a great place to stay whether you plan to just go into Strasbourg (the tram is about 3 minutes away by car, 10 minutes on foot), visit the surrounding area, or do both (like we did). There are two grocery stores and a great boulangerie (bakery) nearby.
We would absolutely stay here again with our adopted Alsation "aunt and uncle" if we come back to Strasbourg.

Strasbourg-Eckbolsheim
Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Dachgeschoss eines liebevoll eingerichteten Hauses. Von der in ca. fünf Gehminuten zu erreichenden Tram-Haltestelle, sind es mit der Bahn 20 min bis in die Altstadt. Die Vermieter sind ein sehr nettes Ehepaar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I'm so glad I read the other positive reviews about this property and decided we should stay here rather than in downtown Strasbough. I can't speak highly enough about hosts Marianne and Ali. They both gave us the warmest welcome, took time to advise us when we had questions about sightseeing, and made us feel like we were part of their family. They were both very gracious, allowing me plenty of opportunities to practice my somewhat rusty French.
The apartment is not only charming but clean, very comfortable & spacious. It was particularly nice having such a large, modern kitchen and a washing machine. And it was great having tourist info. literature available to look through.

We are a family of four, with kids aged 14 and 12. Mom and the kids stayed here at Marianne and Ali's place for almost a month, and dad came for the final week. This is a lovely apartment taking up the third (and top) floor of a retired couple’s charming home (American 3rd floor, French 2nd floor). We especially enjoyed the balcony, which overlooks Marianne’s beautiful garden. Marianne and Ali are warm and welcoming, sharing information, homemade goodies, and their bikes (and locks). They greeted us almost every day and talked a little French with the children. The whole family felt safe and genuinely welcomed -- Marianne and Ali even invited us down for drinks from time to time, and shared news about local events that might be of interest, sometimes patiently translating local news articles that described them.
The space itself is quiet, clean, and quaint, and the amenities are complete. We moved a chair out of one of the bedrooms so we could all comfortably fit in the sitting area. The toilet is separate from the shower enclosure, which we saw as a benefit partly because there were two bathroom sinks we could use at one time. The space got a little hot when a heat wave rolled in, but they are in the process of installing an air conditioning unit. Without even asking, Marianne was already providing electric fans when the weather forecast starting indicating excessive heat. She also suggested keeping the window and shutters closed during the day, and open at night, which worked quite well. We talked to Marianne and Ali a little bit about the unique history of the home, prompted partly by historical photos they had by the stairs on the way up to the apartment.
The location is great. The nearby canal bike trail was a really nice ride even for less-skilled cyclists. We rode all the way to Strasbourg on several occasions without having to go on any roads. The tram is a short walk away to access the train station, airport, and downtown. Marianne actually met the family at the train station when they arrived, and we had no problems walking to the tram station with our rolling luggage on the early morning that we had to depart. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, with just occasional street noise at night. Bakeries and grocery stores are nearly, too--we usually walked or rode bikes, or took the tram if there was a lot to haul. Parking is right by the home.
The whole transaction was smooth, and there were no bad surprises at all. Highly recommended!

Séjour très agréable et super accueil
Location bien située pour visiter Strasbourg (2 minutes pour arriver à un P+R et le terminus d'un tram qui conduit au centre de Strasbourg) et le nord d'Alsace. Le centre d'Eckbolsheim est à 400 mètres ou on trouve quelques restaurants. Place de parking garantie.
L'appartement est propre et très bien équipée.
Mais il y a surtout Marianne, très aimable, sympathique, toujours disponibles et toujours prêt, ensemble avec son mari Ali, pour une conversation sur l'Alsace, la Belgique (nous sommes belges), le vin et surtout son jardin et ses plantes. Et on ne peut pas oublier les délicieux confitures qui nous attendais et l'excellent kougelhopf que Marianne nous a préparé et le géranium qu'elle nous a offert en partant… C'était vraiment top. Donc, un grand merci à Marianne et Ali.

Warm and charming host, lovely Apartment(Apr)
Our host Marianne made us feel so welcome in her beautiful French home from the moment we arrived. The apt was very charming and so clean! The apt was very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the wood floors were beautiful. Our host was very helpful about how to get around the area and what things to do. The apt is very close to public transportation. I would highly recommend staying here. I really hated to leave, I felt like a made a new friends. When we come back to this area we will certainly try to stay here again.

Staying with Marianne was like a home from home. Her welcome, kindness, and attention to detail, was better than anything we have ever experienced anywhere else. We had taken our daughter to start her 'Assistante de Langue' post in the city, and Marianne could not have been more helpful. The apartment had plenty of information about the area, but Marianne also loaned us her own books so that we could make the most of our visit. The apartment itself is beautiful and well equipped, and the view from the balcony ,which overlooks her pretty English style garden, is lovely. Eckbolsheim is about 20 minutes to the city by car, but public transport is available close by. Marianne provided home made jams and cake on arrival, as well as baking us a gorgeous plum tart later on in our stay, which were delicious. Her house is a delight, and the apartment reflects her style and personality. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, other than to say that the apartment is on the second floor, so would not be suitable for some. Beautiful apartment in lovely town on the outskirts of Strasbourg, close to the German border.
Beautiful apartment on the top floor of a stunning traditional French house with beautiful gardens.
Apartment is well equipped, with mod cons such as dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioner, adequate crockery to make simple meals, and wifi. Well furnished with beautiful traditional wooden floors. Very clean and fresh on arrival and lovely linen and towels available throughout stay. The balcony terrace is lovely to sit out for breakfast or in the evening enjoying the views of the garden and beautiful sunrise.
Marianne and Al are such lovely owners and made us welcome into their home from day one, nothing was to much trouble for them, leaving gifts of fruit and produce from the garden, homemade cake and jams. They shared their knowledge of the area and advised interesting places to visit.
The position of the apartment was perfect for exploring nearby Germany and Switzerland and Alasce region of France, very easy to get to as the autoroutes where very close by. The tram was around the corner and easily accessible by foot, 15mins on tram and we were in the centre of Strasbourg, such a beautiful city and so much to see and do day and night.
Marianne is so proud of her beautiful garden and showed us around and gave us cuttings to take home.
We had a wonderful two weeks in this lovely apartment and would recommend for exploring Alsace in France, Black Forest of Germany and Switzerland, with the best hosts.

Never wanted to leave!
I don't normally write reviews, but this was something else! We were instantly made to feel part of the family & I don't think that Marianne and Ali stopped cooking exciting treats from the moment we arrived! Truly, a home from home. Our one-year-old was brilliantly accommodated in every way. Not only was the house amazing and the garden beautiful, but the location was perfect (between country and city) and the bikes that Marianne arranged for us took all 3 of us everywhere with ease. We could have stayed forever. Thank you, you created memories for a lifetime :)
