I tried contacting property manager 3 days before arrival it never got a call back. Our unlock code didn’t work in the day of check in. I was unable to get in touch with the property manager for hours without success. I visited their office but the office was closed. I finally received a return call five days later! The place was dirty and had no maintenance since we visited there a few years earlier. There were no trash cans for us to dispose of a week’s worth of trash. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here

Pictures were very deceiving. Waterfall in pool did not work. Furniture was old and dirty. Carpet was old and coming up in places. Paint chipping. Dryer quit and maintenance man was aware of the problem. No beach chairs. Trash not picked up and animals got in it. Electric wires hanging. Toilet seat broke. air conditioner quit on second last day. Those of us who drove left. Four people had to stay since they flew in. Gate broke going into pool area and house from driveway. Elevator not working, etc. very disappointing. We were monetarily compensated. It was very disappointing for our family. We have rented houses on beach before. For what we paid for the week it truly was disappointing. The property has not taken care of.

Furnishings - There are plenty of many things, but could use coozies, shot glasses, beach chairs, updated beach, beach umbrella, beach towels
Linens - bed spreads are probably ready for an update

The house was great! Enough space and privacy for all the couples we were with. Amazing location for stores, restaurants, bars, and the beach!
I would have liked if there were more cleaning supplies on hand. We only had two dishwasher detergent pods and could have used one for each day we were there. Also if there was cleaning spray for counters and a broom for general clean up it would have been nice to have on hand.

Stayed at the property for 5 days/ 4 nights. second day in HVAC went out on top floor where the kitchen is located. We were hosting this evening a group of 25 work collogues and investors. Had to completely rearrange schedule, plans, activities. Very unprofessional. Also pool spa didn't work the entire time. Pool company didn't show when expected and refused to fix the spa because the property manager did not inform them. Property manager never responded to my text about the pool. Location was great!

There are only two issues that should be addressed.
1- The A/C return vents have mold around them and there should be a filter for intake air.

We were very pleased with the overall property layout and the location. Our only major complaint was the pool. Upon arrival, the pool was green and unusable. That was surprising. Response from the manager was timely and pool people were sent out that day but we still couldn't use the pool Saturday or Sunday. We had the same problem later in the week on Thursday evening
and on Friday. Pool was again green and unusable. Pool guys again were sent out but the pool was still green and dirty when we left Saturday morning. We lost three + days unable to swim in the pool. Seems like the pump and filter system needs major repair.

The pool is a mess. Called multiple times, never fixed, ruined bathing suits. Had two whole days where we could not get into pool. Have tried to call, email and message 5 star properties to talk to someone since checking out. No one gets back to me.

The setup of the house is a bit off. The kitchen and Main bedrooms are up on the top floor and then the other three bedrooms on the second floor. There are a lot of stairs and the elevator was not working properly. It made it very difficult for bringing up and down luggage, supplies, and garbage. The dishwasher was not working properly and there were other small items. They did send a maintenance person over to fix a couple of things but the house is showing its age and needs a bit of refurbishing. Very cheaply appointed. Blinds not working, not up to power for the amount of money charged.

Great and quick communication. Any time we had questions there was a quick response. We had an issue with the main door and was fixed immediately. Check in and check out was easy.
Great layout and abundance of space. There were a total of 10 adults. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, except for two bedrooms that shared a bathroom. Several bedrooms had their own balconies.
We loved the location! Short 2 minute walk to the beach. Also close to shops and restaurants. Variety of coffee places to walk to in the morning and a variety of ice-cream places to walk to in the evening. Good thing we were only there a week! LOL!
We enjoyed having a private pool which was a good size.
Plenty of parking available with the huge garage.
Kitchen had everything we needed, Keurig included.
Heads up that the elevator is small and slow so we really didn't use it much.
We indulged this year and got a place bigger than we have in the past and we were so glad we did!

This property met every expectation, and more. It is a well-maintained home (well furnished and outfitted) with short walks to a great beach as well as restaurants and shopping. The pool is great for infants and toddlers with a wonderful community playground within walking distance as an extra bonus. Didn't need to use a car for the entire stay.

The property was as described overall. The house was in a perfect location close to beach and Coligny Plaza. We did have a few challenges with the pool heat and responsiveness from the property manager. A neighbor actually resolved the issue. Otherwise, they responded timely. I have one large caution, one reason we booked this house as that it had an elevator and we had two family members that have issues with stairs. The elevator was not working, no ETA for repairs
(which did not occur during our stay for the week). My expectation would be that this should have been communicated prior to my arrival and not a surprise when I walked in the door. If I had a family member in a wheel chair or completely unable to do steps they would have had to spend the week in the garage.

This property is perfect for a group visit. There were a total of 7 adults at the property when we stayed and there was plenty of room (never even used two of the bedrooms/bathrooms). The location is amazing to local shops, bars, restaurants, beach, etc. Loved the outdoor bar/patio area and all of the balconies, really a great home.
Downsides: pool heat only worked half of the stay when we paid for the full stay (message just sent to company to see if we could get a partial refund), pool waterfall feature did not work, elevator was out of service for our entire stay (not a huge inconvenience but dragging our large bags and lots of groceries upstairs could have been much easier with use of the elevator).
Would definitely recommend this location for any group!

But, the house is beautiful and the location is incredible, walk across the street and you are at the beach. One block from Coligny plaza with shops and restaurants. Beautiful area.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom had a private bathroom as well as a little balcony space. The large living areas on each floor provided plenty of space for relaxation. The pool was great for the kids, and having a kitchenette next to the pool made it so convenient to have snacks and drinks outside on the patio. Best of all, the location near the beach and close to shops and restaurants was amazing! We were literally steps away from the beach, and this made it very convenient for everyone.

Great property in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to the beach and many shops.
Only downside was we requested the pool heat to be on for the extra charge but it never worked properly for us. The faucet in the kitchen sink needs some maintenance and the elevator wasn't working (which they notified us prior to our stay). Everything else was great! We would stay here again for sure.

Great Vacation
The house is fabulous! It has the best floorpan! The location is amazing. The response was IMMEDIATE for anything we needed help with! Really great customer service! It'is a great home! It just needs a little TLC. The pool was great, but the pool area could use a power washing. The upstairs living room furniture could use an upgrade. Other than that, it's a great property!

Property NEEDS Work - Location, Great
I’ve rented a number of properties in this price range and I’ve never been more disappointed in this one. The pictures displayed aren’t accurate and the pool/elevator are made of duct tape and bailing wire, the trim around the microwave actually fell on us. The most frustrating part was the “Five star” management company that didn’t care about anything and would only answer a text messages. This house seriously needs 100K+ in renovating before they should charge this amount of money.
In addition, one of the attractive features of the property was the pool. We called in advance to have the pool heated, we’re charged, and upon arrival came to find out that not only was it not heated but it wouldn’t even work. Despite multiple attempts to fix it we spent the entire week with a pool that was essentially unusable. Try explaining that to 4 young kids!😡. They went as far as telling us that it was our problem not theirs. Rediculous.
Pro advice, don’t ever touch the pool, elevator or this property.

We all enjoyed the property. It is spaced out in a way that everyone has their own privacy. The walk to the beach is easy. And Coligny Plaza was great with the shops, restaurants, playgrounds and bicycle rentals.

Our daughter graduated from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. Desiring a place to stay that would provide relief, comfort & peace for an exhausting young woman. 4 Dune was REMARKABLE!!! Providing separation, yet space to gather.....individual bathrooms and VERY VERY comfortable beds!!!! Sixty seconds to walk to the beautiful sandy barefoot beach for long walks. Truly AMAZINGLY near perfect stay! Management provided clear instruction for entry, electronic utilization & were quick to respond to questions. Highly, highly recommend for your family/friends stay!

Positive stay
Our extended family immensely enjoyed staying at 4 Dune. We were able to relax together in the spacious living rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the professional ovens were a treat to use. All six adults commented on how comfortable the beds were. The elevator was extremely helpful when transporting luggage and groceries. The kids loved the 📺s and pool, of course. It's in a quiet area and was very clean. The owners have truly made this a home for visitors. A great place to unwind and make memories.

Wonderful Vacation
Overall the house was great! There is construction of a new house next door so there was noise and we had to keep reminding people not to park in our driveway so we could get out when we needed to.
As far as the house goes, it could use a little updating, but it was a very nice place to stay. Close to the beach and to shopping was a great plus!

Great location but house needs work and cleaning
We stayed for 8 days in October. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was the pool and spa were VERY dirty. We contacted the property manager and they sent someone to clean the pool and spa the next day.
The house itself is very beautiful. However, the cooking supplies and dishes were very dirty. A very small amount of dish soap was provided which lasted 2 days and the dishwasher detergent was so terrible, it didn’t dissolve. We contacted the property manager and they sent someone out. However, we purchased dishwasher liquid soap which seemed to work for a day and then the dishwasher completely stopped working after.
Only one paper towel roll was provided which is not nearly enough considering we booked the house for 8 days. In our past experience, many vacation rentals provide with more than one paper towel roll.
There was mold on the kitchen ceiling below the vent. The property manager was contacted and someone came to just wipe it off. Not sure if the mold is in the vents.
Upon checking out and checking all the bedroom drawers to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, we found rat poop in the drawers of the queen bedroom.
Pros:
Location is excellent! Walking distance from the beach, stores, restaurants l, and bars.
Size: the house fit 11 adults and 2 kids perfectly.
Property manager: The property manager was very quick to respond to our concerns and is very accessible.
Cons:
Dirty pool and spa upon arrival.
Dirty kitchen ware and dishes.
Dishwasher was broken.
Rat poop in drawers.
Thanks to the location, we still had a good time. However, we probably won’t book this property again in the future.

Great Time
Everything was great. We had a bunch of old Marine buddies getting together and we couldn’t have asked for more from a property. The house was perfect. The location near the shops and restaurants was amazing. The house is so incredibly close to the beach also. There was a minor a/c issue but the communication regarding that was great and it was able to get fixed very quickly. Overall, we all loved this house and had such a great time.

Best summer home ever!
Location was great - quick walk to beach or shops close by. House was beautiful with comfortable living areas inside, balconies outside, and a large pool deck to hang out with family. Best part was the quick response by the management to a couple concerns we had. They sent someone over within an hour on a Sunday! to fix an air conditioner. Later in the week someone came out twice in the same day to deal with a small pool problem. We have rented summer homes for years for our family reunions and never have we received such quick response times. It really added to our enjoyable, worry-free stay.

Good family beach trip home.
Overall a good family home for extended family trip. Poolside kitchen was very nice extra and the pool and pool deck were great for our family. Beach access was fine and just across the street. Elevator was perfect for us ass we have one health related need for that.
Only negative was the dishwasher which didn’t really clean the dishes or dry them either but that was a minor problem we dealt with.
Overall a great trip.

Good for the most part
Me and my family stayed here for a week. This house could be even better and they could raise the price if they addressed some of the issues we experienced and others according to the reviews. We’re not too picky so the house worked well for us, location was perfect, check in good they were just a little behind. House was renovated and new for the most part, nice new bar, plenty of space including deck space. A few things we wish were addressed: upon arrival the pool deck / patio was dirty and had sand and dead flowers all over it, the pool chairs had rust and were broken, and the bottom of the pool was dirty. Someone came out once our entire stay to clean the pool and did little to no cleaning of the pool. Additionally the pool lights, outdoor speakers, and outdoor solar lights did not work for night swimming/ hanging out. Lastly we understand it’s normal to encounter “palmetto bugs” every once in a while but it seemed like there were a bunch in the bar and garage every night including dead ones. But other then that if your not a picky vacationer I truly recommend this house if they can clean the pool and deck area!

Beautiful home but many amenities require maintenance
The home & pool are really beautiful but Upon arrival the pool was not working We paid the 350 fee for the heater to be turned on and it wasn’t
The elevator was not working, the master baths both had jacuzzis that didn’t work The Ice dispenser through the refrigerator wall wasn’t working Outlets on the decks didn’t work
After calling the property management we were told someone would be there either on our arrival date or the next morning The person said a appliance man would come on Monday She said we don’t know these things unless we are told REALLY? No one came After several days my husband who worked pools was able to turn it on But, needless to say we were annoyed that our grandchildren had to swim in freezing cold water
It was really annoying but the house & its proximity to the beach was great & we all had a good time regardless of all the problems associated with it

The house is located across the street from the beach, great location with lots to do and eat. Large bedrooms and common areas, big pool, outside bar. Our family enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head, I recommend this house for you Hilton Head stay.

Great location--wonderful house!
Stayed here for an extended Labor day weekend with family. The house had plenty of room to spread out. The pool/outdoor area was wonderful. We had an issue with the hot tub/pool, but management was very responsive and understanding. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location
Had a wonderful time and really enjoyed this house. The location was perfect and allowed easy access to and from the beach with a quick 30 second walk. We had 4 families staying at the house with kids ranging from 18 months- 10 years so everyone wanted to do something different throughout the day between the pool, beach or relaxing inside or on one of the patios. There are 3 flights of stairs and the elevator was broken so it was a lot of effort to get from the ground level to the 3rd floor carrying groceries, etc and got a little nervous with the young ones with all of the stairs but other than that it was very spacious and everyone enjoyed their rooms.

Would rent again
The location of the house is perfect for family, especially if you have teens. Truly 30 seconds to the beach and 1 minute to Caligny. Top floor with 2 Masters, great kitchen and deck. Kids all stayed on second floor. The house was what I would call "used hard" and could use some paint touch ups, pressure wash around the pool, a deep clean and some general maintenance - but was perfect having teens. We had a problem with the dishwasher not cleaning well and the rental company got someone out right away.

Wonderful Location
Great location and nice property. Would definitely optimize the place to update the exterior landscape and upkeep. Pool area could use a good power washing and gutters were overgrown along with bushes and trees. Inside was nice enough, somewhat dated but worked well for our large group.

The house has a great location. It also has a great layout with 6 separate bedrooms. The pool is very family friendly. We would definitely rent this house again.
