We had 17 family members ranging from age 1- 72 in our group. We loved the large open space in the living area where we could all gather. The kitchen was very well stocked and plenty of seating for all of us to enjoy our meals. The pool was enjoyed by both the kids and adults and refreshing after an afternoon at the beach. The concrete area around the pool was spacious with plenty of seating. The 2 refrigerators are a must for our group since we cook a lot of our meals at the house. Two washer and dryer sets were also great to have with a large group! The beds were comfortable and the bunk room was great for the kids. The walk to the beach was short and easy. The view of the marsh from the house was beautiful! The only complaint I would have is at check in and check out we wished there was an elevator! We had a great time this week at Ocean Isle visiting our WV family. I would recommend staying at this house…great for a large group!

We stayed here last July. 2023. The house was very nice. Had everything we needed. The decks were a nice gathering place after a day at the beach. With such a large group (17), it was nice to have 2 washers and dryers. Pool area was very nice. There was a slippery spot on the cement ( ac run off) where one of the kids slipped and got hurt. They did come and cleaned that up though. Wasn't too far from the beach, a 2 min walk. I would recommend ☺️

Property was as listed and very comfortable for 10 adults and 2 children. Walk to beach was farther than we expected. Shower curtain liners need replacing due to mold.

We loved the house. It was comfortable and plenty roomy for the 21 of us. We loved the pool and its location gave us privacy(people were not able to walk by the pool and see us as we were enjoying our time in it). We loved the location of the house, the marsh has beautiful scenery behind the house which also made it a little more private for us. The Beach was a short walk. I gave it an overall rating of four because I did not enjoy having to get our own sheets and towels. And I wondered how clean the beds and pillows were if people had not brought or rented their own sheets.

From the time we got to Ocean Isle and 4 Chadbourn, we had a fantastic time. Weather was good, house was great and the proximity to the ocean was awesome. The only thing that needed fixing was the safety bar when entering pool. It is a safety hazard that should be taken care of immediately.

We absolutely loved this house. From the wrap around porches to the plentiful outdoor seating, our crew had the best time soaking in the marsh views, watching sunsets and playing games on the little beach behind the home.
We had five families stay, and had plenty of space. The walk to the beach was short and easy and we really enjoyed the swimming pool too (we loved that it was separately gated with babies/kids around).
This house is so perfect, if you book, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back OIB!!!

Beautiful home with gorgeous view of sunrise and sunset. We had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for all with comfy beds. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. We had a great week and hope to return next summer!

This was our second year staying at this house and it is perfect for our large family. It has a great layout with plenty of space and every appliance you can think of including 2 refrigerators. The pool is a nice bonus and the view is beautiful. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. We hope to be back next summer!

We took this trip with close friends and family to spend as much time with my daughter as possible before she passes away from cancer. She chose OIB for her stay and I surprised her with this house. The only thing that threw me is all other places we have stayed at with VRBO supplies towels and sheets. We would always just wash them before we left. Other than that this house and the owners were fantastic. Thank you for allowing us to spend of of Haley’s last few weeks at your home.

Loved the place. It was very clean and everything was update. The walk to the beach was a start shot to the beach access and very short walk. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was a family reunion of 12 adults and 9 kids The house had everything we needed. The kids had a ball in the pool and playing hide and seek. We loved the view of the Marsh which was so relaxing. The short walk to the Beach was a definite plus. We had not been all together for a long time and this was such a great place to do it. Thank you., Anita Pugliese

My family loves OIB, but this was our friends’ first visit, and it did not disappoint. The location of the house is perfect, with the beach just a short walk away. The owners were responsive and patient with my many questions, and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views and a short walk to the beach! This home was perfect for our large group (11 adults and 7 kids). We loved having a pool and also being so close to the beach.
The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was nice to have the large walk in pantry and two refrigerators. The sunrises and sunsets viewed from the porch were amazing, and it was so nice to have the privacy and quiet on the marsh. We saw deer almost every morning.
The owners were very responsive and helpful. We’d definitely love to go back to this house again!

Great house in a great location
We would stay here again… amazing property in a great location. A few things could have been cleaned better (bunk room mattress covers had pee stains on them and the area around the mattresses had all sorts of hairs and such… which is pretty nasty. Overall the cleanliness was just OK. That was the only downside to the property.

80th Birthday Bash
My sons and their wives, my 7 grandsons and 2 great-grand children plus a grandson's wife gathered for a wonderful week of sun and fun and birthday party. It was a wonderful experience.

This place is a gem!
Really beautiful and clean property. Getting the pool heated was worth every penny! We have stayed at many places over the years and this one is one of the best. The kitchen is so well stocked and easy to navigate. Thoroughly cleaned and prepped for guests. It's really a super short walk to the beach, and the beach is lovely. The beach patrol is strict about the type and placement of beach canopies, so check that out before arrival. However, it does make for a nice beach atmosphere to have it strictly controlled. Need to set up your own linen service delivery. The grill is charcoal. Our little ones loved the pool and it was so great to be in a sparkling clean pool coming off of a 2 -year pandemic. The owners keep this place top notch.

The kids had a lot of fun in the pool -- We had it heated and on day 2 the heater stopped working. We made a phone call to the owner and he was extremely quick in returning our call and got someone to fix the problem the same day! Thank you!! One of our family members left a sweatshirt at the house. We contacted Matt and he found the sweatshirt and made sure that it was promptly mailed to us. The only complaint was the bunk room. When the trundle beds are pulled out they block the air vents making the room quite hot. Also, we found that the mattresses on the trundle beds were not in great condition. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a wonderful time.

The kids had a lot of fun in the pool -- We had it heated and on day 2 the heater stopped working. We made a phone call to the owner and he was extremely quick in returning our call and got someone to fix the problem the same day! Thank you!! One of our family members left a sweatshirt at the house. We contacted Matt and he found the sweatshirt and made sure that it was promptly mailed to us. The only complaint was the bunk room. When the trundle beds are pulled out they block the air vents making the room quite hot. Also, we found that the mattresses on the trundle beds were not in great condition. The only complaint I had is that I wish the small beach area outside in the back was kept up as well as in the pictures. It unfortunately had plant overgrowth and wasn’t as usable as we thought it would be.

Beautiful home! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, and then coming back and enjoying the outside shower, tiki bar, and pool. Our main complaint is there is no refrigerator on the downstairs floor for grilling and hanging by the tiki bar. There is plenty of room down there for one and it would be a great addition rather then having to walk up to the 3rd floor or have a cooler downstairs. The kids absolutely LOVED the bunk bed room! Over all we loved and more then likely will be back.

Could tell this house was newly built and well thought out, was very clean at check in and beautifully furnished/decorated. We loved the easy walk to the beach and the privacy of the location, plus the marsh view really was beautiful. The 2 full fridges and washer/dryers on both floors were super convenient. We had 16 people (7 children ages 2-10) and it was a great fit for that number. The pool is not huge but worked well with our kids being younger - and we spent many hours a day in it, the large patio space was fun for games and lounging. The grill is charcoal and down at pool level, we didn’t use it as much as we planned since wasn’t gas but was nice for a poolside cookout. We all agreed this was our favorite beach house in Ocean Isle we have stayed in!
