Spacious Farmhouse with Mtn Views, quiet. Available year round.
Bellamente remodelado 3 dormitorios / 2 baños casa de campo. Ubicado en un campo tranquilo con vistas a la montaña de Gorham. Esta casa está a sólo 1 milla de senderismo y ciclismo en el Parque Nacional Acadia o tumbado en la playa. A sólo 4 millas de Bar Harbor en el bucle libre de transporte público. Excelente ubicación para las actividades de día y de noche o simplemente sentarse y ver puestas de sol de la terraza de atrás. Cocina y baño recientes remodelaciones grandes para las familias numerosas. Relájese en la terraza, mientras disfruta de la subida montañas, puesta del sol y la luna. Gran lugar para los niños. Marca nueva bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre en la terraza de atrás. Los pisos de madera en todo. La planta baja es muy luminoso y abierto. Debido a que este es nuestro verdadero hogar, la cocina está totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario, además de muchos extras. El dormitorio principal tiene su propio cuarto de baño de baldosas de mármol con una ducha grande. Hay una sala en el primer piso que tiene un muy acogedor sofá cama (en serio, lo compré para mis padres) y baño justo al lado, para aquellos que no se siente cómodo subiendo y bajando escaleras. En los baños, se proporcionan jabones y champús, como volar con las tesis artículos es tan difícil! Nuestra casa es simple, pero las sábanas y toallas son siempre de alta calidad, para que se sienta mimado en sus vacaciones. Como enfermeras lo mantenemos muy limpio! Hay un apartamento, así como para aquellos que necesitan una habitación extra, o un poco más de privacidad. El apartamento es un sótano de salida uno, con Planty de luz. Es muy tranquilo allí abajo.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week and we were very happy with the accommodations. The proximity to town and other attractions is what made this property stand out to us and it did not disappoint. This is a great property for a large family or a group of people that want to enjoy all Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. Angie and Chris were awesome hosts and very responsive. We had a great time at this property. The home, amenities, location, and hosts. It was all just right for us. From the yard, to the toys for the kids, to the hot tub, to the basketball hoop, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!

This home did not disappoint. Was exactly as described. Pictures on the listing do not do it justice. Has everything you could need and more. Less then a 10 minute drive to the entrances of Acadia NP. I would highly recommend renting this home for your Bar Harbor stay.

We had a group of 11 family members and this home provided ample living space and comfort.
The kitchen was extremely well equipped, there were ample sheets and linens, an abundance of outdoor and indoor games, and we loved using the lobster pots to have our first lobster boil. We walked to the coffee shop several times which was an added bonus.
The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The property was quiet and it was only a short drive to many Acadia sites as well as close to Bar Harbor.
We would highly recommend this home and would love to come back!

We had a fabulous time at Angie and Chris's beautiful, clean, spacious Otter Creek property! With three floors and numerous rooms and bathrooms, our family of ten from three different households was able to find privacy when needed, yet also able to gather in comfort as a large group.
Angie and Chris were very responsive to our needs and couldn't have been more hospitable.
We especially appreciated being able to fit around one table for meals.
Our 11 year old twin grandchildren loved the large yard, the swings-both indoor and outdoor, and the games cupboard.
The location was also convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia's Loop Road, Jorday Pond, and Northeast Harbor, and is just a short drive from one of our favorite hikes, Dorr Mountain.
It also has an enchanting number of fireflies you may see from the wrap-around porch after dark, not to mention a great view of the night sky!
If we ever organize ourselves to return as a family, we'll hope to stay at this wonderful property again.

We have stayed on MDI many times, as well as lots of other vacation rentals elsewhere. This actually felt like home. It had all the amenities you could ask for, stunning in every way, and a perfect location to access trails and town. We were 3 small families of life long friends and were amazed at the details the home had to offer from cooking utensils to an amazing record collection, fire pit and piano. It is simply perfect. Thank you Angie and Chris and we'll se you next time!

This home had everything we needed for our family reunion: group of 8. Clean and welcoming in a convenient location. Easy access to several trailheads. Short drive to Bar Harbor. Bright sunny spaces for gathering but enough bedrooms to get away. A cozy library served as puzzle-central. The kitchen had everything we needed and large enough for group meal prep. From the country style dining table there’s a grand view of Gotham mountain. A lovely deck, with a hot tub. Lawn games in the evening with fireflies.

Angie and Chris’s home was great for our large family! The multiple areas to hang out in, made it great while trying to get babies asleep, sooo many family boardgames to choose from, two sets of laundry machines, 2 kitchens, and THE HOT TUB!! The hot tub literally saved my muscles, after an intense hike on The Great Wass Island Preserve (I haven’t hiked in a very long time, especially on trails of changing terrains.).
The hosts were responsive when I had any questions. They were very kind hosts! Angie even offered to pick up breakfast items for us (she knew we were traveling with babies), after our flights got delayed for HOURS, causing us to ultimately stay in a hotel in Portland for the first night of our vacation.
I would recommend their place to anyone who plans on staying in the Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor area!

This home is a wonderful place to stay in MDI for groups. We had 10 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. The home is located right next to Bar Harbor and minutes from plenty of trail heads. Our group especially liked using the well stocked kitchen to cook meals every night after a good hike. Angie and Chris really made us feel like we were at home with all the small touches in the house. They were easy to communicate with and had plenty of suggestions for local fun. We would love to stay here again!

I cannot recommend this property enough! I reserved this property for my family and I. We were 10 guests in total and there was so much room. The house itself is amazing. It was very clean and organized. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to make meals for everyone with ease. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the firepit, utilizing it to make smores on our trip. My family loved the hot tube. The location itself was perfect! We were literally surrounded by Acadia National Park, which was the main attraction that bought us to Maine. The house is also very close to town with nice restaurants and shops. I cannot say enough about our hosts, Angie and Chris. They were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly kind and very responsive. Again, I cannot recommend this property enough. My family is already planning a return trip back!

Perfect house for our adult family! One couple stayed in the downstairs apartment, our son had the main floor and 2 couples stayed upstairs. We had everything available in the kitchen to cook meals for the family.
The location was perfect! We also used the fire pit, the deck and the hot tub.
We felt at home and enjoyed every moment of our vacation.

The proprietors are friendly and helpful (they put out a leashes run for our dog!) and the place is clean and well stocked (made many dinners for our family of 12). Lots of comfortable beds. I've been "coming back home" for 35+ years and this was my first time at Angie's property. Sometimes it can be nerve-wracking to try a new place but...
Angie was extremely communicative and accommodating prior to the trip (during and after also, but trying to go in order).
Waking up in the master bedroom to the view made the entire trip worthwhile alone. Not to mention the rave reviews my other travelers gave of the EXTREMELY well equipped kitchen (when we had group meals as Bar Harbor is getting spendy), the hot tub, the fire pit, the views, and the accommodations/bedrooms/group rooms. We all fell in love with a silly hammock chair but it was so comfortable and had the best view in the house! Service-wise we never lacked for anything that wasn't already on the property (wood, equipment, wifi, heating, laundry, on and on...) Location had me worried (I've stayed too far away on the other side of the island or too far south) but our morning hotspot (Jordan's) was literally... 7min? away each day, even during the weekends. It was my first time having such quick access to Little Hunter's Cove and all points after the entrance gate (normally it does mean a beautiful but more paced journey over the Loop).
We were ALL extremely surprised by our first visit and will look forward to staying on Angie's property in the future!!!

Wonderful home in a perfect location
We loved staying at this home surrounded by the beauty and mountains of Acadia National Park! It was perfect for our group of 14 (we also used the basement apartment). We loved that we were so close to all the wonders of Acadia, and we could even view the home from atop Gorham Mountain! The home was well stocked and had great places for everyone to hang out! We really enjoyed the fire pit, patio, and hot tub too! We couldn’t have asked for a better home to get our first taste of Acadia National Park! We will be back!

Amazing Acadia Home
Three generations gathered in this lovely home for a week in Acadia NP. The hosts were kind and responsive…quickly answering any questions we had. Their house was welcoming and felt like “home.” Plenty of room for all, a family room where all could gather, and good selection of games and puzzles. The fire pit and spa were a plus! We enjoyed spending a week at this beautiful home with our family. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked, and provided excellent amenities. The location was perfect, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but far enough away to provide privacy and a break from the crowds. We loved the views of Gorham Mountian, the hot tub and firepit areas, and all of the wildlife in the backyard! For us, it was home away from home!

The space is beautiful, comfortable, clean and cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen for the needs of our adult group. We loved watching the sunset from the porch, hot-tubbing under the stars after a long day of hiking, reading in front of the wood-burning stove (great home library!), or listening to an excellent collection of vinyl! Angie was responsive and helpful & these hosts provide their own guidebook for enjoying the many wonders of Mount Desert Island. This home is located in easy proximity to Bar Harbor, many trail heads, Park Loop Drive, and the gems of The Quiet Side. We were even able to spot the house from the summit of Gorham Mountain! This was the perfect spot for our much-needed and long overdue family vacation. Thank you, Angie and Chris, for sharing your lovely home!

Acadia Escape
Great home in a great location. Our multi generation family enjoyed this property for the week. Close drive into Bar Harbor and entrance to Acadia National Park and hiking trails. Infact it is surrounded by the national park. The home is big and basically has 3 living rooms on the main level. So plenty of space to spread out. One of those rooms can become a bedroom if you choose to use the pullout. There is a full bathroom right across from that room. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The one bathroom has just a tub with a hose , just fyi. We rented the basement apartment also to have another bedroom and bathroom for our group. The owners are friendly and reponsive. Something was wrong with the door lock and they came right away to fix it and again when there was an issue with the coffee maker , they came quickly to replace it.

Really amazing family vacation at this property. Had a total of 13 of us and the property fit our family perfectly. Hot tub and fire pit added to our stay. Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely home after missing our yearly trip to Acadia in 2020. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our visit to the park. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and gorgeously situated, conveniently close to both Bar Harbor and the trails. Great family vacation, spacious and centrally located
Our family had a great time at the farmhouse. The house was spacious for our group of 9 adults and 1 infant. The downstairs apartment was such a great addition! The house is so centrally located and convenient to everything on MDI - the park, Bar Harbor, etc. We were able to explore and bike many places right from the house. The kitchen was equipped for lots of family dinners, evening fires and a great backyard to relax, play games, etc.!

Plenty of room and amenities in this beautifully well kept farmhouse. We found the location in Otter Creek to be perfect to all that we wanted to go do and explore on MDI. Hosts were very communicative and helpful!
