I really liked the location of the place. It was very quiet and peaceful. Also, it was close to attractions we wanted to visit. The kitchen was well stocked as we like cook a lot of our meals ourselves. The house was very comfortable.

The only thing we would like more was the blinds were not able to be opened. I, as an older person, like a lot of light and not being able to open the blinds made it darker in the house than I like.

The kitchen with the large refrigerator/freezer. Bed was very comfortable. Location to Charis Bible college and downtown was great. Quiet neighborhood and enjoyed seeing the deer.

We loved sitting and eating on the porch but the table and chairs and porch itself needed cleaning. Screen on entry door was ripped and needed fixing.

There was dirt and grass clippings just inside the front door when we arrived, we were disappointed with that. But we found the broom and swept it out, and cleared same off the walk leading up to the door. We were also disappointed with the dining table and chairs, they were all too high and skittish, causing food and drink to spill easily. We expected a more family-style comfortable dining experience. There was only one easy chair for relaxing in, and it was very heavy and difficult to move, couldn't get into position with other seating for easy conversation. Another disappointment was that the bathroom sink was so tiny one couldn't lay toothbrush and toothpaste down with any confidence it would stay there. And where do I rest my false teeth?! A little shelf, or better, a vanity top would be welcome. We did really appreciate the prompt service delivering new pillows to our cabin, because no pillows were present in cabin. "Sara" and local person was very helpful and gracious. Thanks to all.

The shower is terrible!!! It’s a mess dirty and unkept. Bathroom wall was dirty. No hot water sometimes and no water mix. Dishwasher didn’t work. Stove smells like a gas leak. Filter in hallway is filthy. Light on porch doesn’t work. Hard to unlock the door at night without a light. Doorknob on bedroom door is falling off. Bathroom door doesn’t lock. Dishwasher is broken and the leak under the sink has a bucket that needs to be emptied. It would have been nice if cofffee itself would have been provided with the coffee maker and filters. All just too bad because it’s a quaint look and great location. Would never recommend this to anyone without all the above being fixed. Too, too bad.
