We LOVE the Oceanic! It is located right smack on the Ocean City inlet, walking distance to the boardwalk, breakfast spots, the Talbot Street Pier. You can fish right along the inlet or on the fishing pier on the property (motel guests get free passes). Wake up early and see the fishing boats go out. Laid back, family friendly place loaded with regular people just having a great time. BBQ grills and adirondack chairs are all over the place. The pool was clean and nice, a perfect place to just relax and watch the beautiful view. Views of Assateague island. And affordable. It does not get better than this.... but it is not a luxury hotel. If you are looking for fun and convenience, maybe do a little fishing, don't care about fancy hotels and amenities, this is your place.

Love the location, the pier and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Will definitely be booking again for next year as soon as I'm able to.

Really just that the part of the bed where our feet went had wet spots and I brushed some dirt off the fitted sheet. The pillows and blanket aren't the best but that's nitpicking.

I lijed the fact it was close to everything. We ate at the diner across the street and drank at the bar beside the diner across the street.

I booked a Queen room, arfived to a single. I asked to have a queen, was told no other rooms available and that if I didnt want the room I got I woukd be charged for that day...90 bucks. They put me into a 2 bedroom 2nd floor pig sty. The door to the room could easilybe opened woth a credot card, the floors were filthy, holes in windows filled with newspaper, holes in walls and a bath closet that looked fresh out of a haunted house. I will never reccommend this place to anyone. They screwed up and I had to pay extra for the room they put me in. My $185 for twp nights cost me $325 for the same two nights and I didnt sleep worrying that someone would just walk in.

The location is great and the views are wonderful.

The rooms are small and not very clean. The refrigerator smelled like old seafood. And the staff who clean the rooms were very loud with talking to each other and yelling i got woken up two mornings by the staff however the staff who are in the office were very pleasant.

The fridge was rusty the microwave was also in poor condition the dresser looked like it had brown crude that could not be cleaned off the outside of the drawers and under the sheets there was all little black flecs the seal under the door was non existent and u could be see light right under the door there was a hole in the wall above the door towels had stains on them it’s not what I expected for paying over 200 for one night

Location is great

Needs updating.. no privacy on porch.. pool area was decent.. room was filled with flies & sand on carpet.. bathroom floor disgusting but shower ,sink,& toilet looked fairly new

Flies in the room. At least 20, at least they supplied the fly swatter on a hook in the room.

Love the location. Close to fishing pier and board walk. The room was not great the outside lights made you feel like it was daylight all night long.. The blinds they had in the room were broken and did not keep any of the light out. There was no shower curtain. the sink did not have any cold water. We stayed in room 29.

Everything within walking distance. The hotel was super clean.

it’s a little small, but worth it for the location and the cleanliness.

Only wish i have is next time get a room with microwave,Close to everything
