Customer service and comfort of the bed

Janquita was wonderful even though I can't spell her name properly. The rest of the staff was great as well.

I would have liked to find a better price

Failure to resupply breakfast during posted times to be open, poorly prepared egg dish. virtually nothing to eat. Pancake machine out of order. Out of waffle mix. No hand soap. in room. Mixed poor amenities for shampoo etc.

Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly.

The staff were awesome!! I don’t think I’ve met anyone has friendly as the ladies at the front desk were. Even when we accidentally locked our keys in our room while going to dinner she knew exactly what room number we were in. I can’t say enough how awesome they were!!

Saw some negative reviews so we didn’t know what to expect. I’m a hotel snob, but we were very pleased with everything about this hotel….Very clean, nice linens, extra towels, good hotel staff, good breakfast (except no oatmeal). We would definitely recommend.

No oatmeal for breakfast.

The housekeeper was great.

My child found a shard of broken glass in her bed. Hair all over the bathroom and shower. Dead bugs on the carpet.

The location was great as we were visiting family for Christmas Day. The room was nice.

The breakfast was not up to our expectations. The bagels were too tough to eat and the heated items (i.e., meat) were cold. We try to stay in hotels that offer breakfast to save time during traveling and this was the worst we have ever experienced. My guess would be that due to it being Christmas Day and only two other folks eating breakfast when we were there, possibly not enough folks eating meant the food had been out since 7am (we came down around 9:30am-ish) and was dried out, cold, and we wished we had made other breakfast plans after all. Also there were many ladybugs in our room (window sill and on pillows and sheets) we had to remove.

The location was good. The room was clean enough.

The reason for our trip was our grandchildrens Christmas present. For the past three years we take them to a hotel that has a heated pool and let them swim and also take them shopping. When we arrived and checked in we went to or room and changed because the children was so excited to go swimming. When we got to to heated in door pool it was 64 degrees. When we went to to desk the lady said they had turned it of for storms that had came thru a few hours ago. She also said she would let maintenance know. If a heated pool was off for 2 or 3 hours it would still be warm. When I went to the front desk the lady said that maintenance had already left and she would try to call but they will not answer. Was also rud and none apologetic. The next morning when checking to go to another hotel the lady at front desk turned her back and was very rud when I tried to tell her the situation. We will stay somewhere other then Holiday inn in the future.

They said they didn’t receive payment from booking.com and said I had to pay them directly which led to two charges on my bank card for the one room. The shower was clogged and filled up past my ankles. The pull out bed had many blood stains on it.
