Amazing house! Owners were great at communicating with us. The only thing I missed was that there was an additional cost to use the elevator and having our 87 yr old mother w/us we had no choice but to pay the extra.

The house was exactly what you see on listing. The amenities were all accounted for and in an emasculate state. The stroll to the dock wasn’t terrible and the view, you just couldn’t beat!

Huge home with a beautiful view. We traveled with our sales team and split between 3 home in the area. While we had 6 overnighters, 16 were in the area and the house accommodated them well for entertaining.
It is a bit of a drive if you plan to visit downtown Austin or the “bats” but is otherwise a relaxing place

House is very nice.
We felt the kitchen was under stocked. There was only one 9x13 casserole dish and one smaller one for our group of 11. Luckily we brought some of our own. Crock pot is very small so we didn’t end up using it. There were no basic spices (including salt & pepper) or cooking oils. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs and I usually never unpack the stuff I bring. This time I assumed that would be the case but it was not and we had to try and scramble to make things work for our large group who loves to cook big meals. We also felt that there needed to be another tv either in the dining or sitting area more central to the rest of the house. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and loved the views of the lake!

Wakesurfing on Lake Travis/Colorado River
This property was exactly as promoted. Large, well-appointed and very well maintained. The process from reservation through checkout was very clear, efficient and friendly. The dock for our surfboat was perfect and in excellent shape. Also, the area of the lake was surprisingly smooth with plenty of great runs for wakesurfing. The boat launch and gas docks were also very convenient and customer friendly. We will definitely be renting again and highly recommend this property.

Had an awesome time, what a house! It’s definitely as cool as in the photos. Highly recommend. Night life things of things are on the other side of the lake, so not easily accessible. Place to put your water vehicles in is moments away and very convenient. The only thing missing is kitchen towels. Easy fix but would by nice for that gorgeous kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Clean. In great shape. Hit the grocery store, HEB on the way in. About half an hour away. Smaller grocery store closer by, but if your have extensive needs, HEB.

Adults Only Family and Friends Get Away Weekend
The house was perfect. Plenty of space for our group of 9 adults. Beds in the bunk room were comfortable. Game room with outdoor patio was a ton of fun. Views were incredible. Boat dock was perfect for swimming. I would rent again…(will bring the kids next time.) Ben was also super responsive. Great Weekend!!!

Family Spring Break
The house, basement/garage area and lake provided tons of fun for our grandkids. We loved the quiet surroundings and plenty of beds for everyone (13 of us). The owner and property manager were quick to respond to questions and took care of everything. When I get home, I will be recommending this property to a friend whose family plans to come to Lake Travis in June.

Great place for a large group
Our group of 14 came into Austin on a fairly chilly weekend in March on the first weekend of SXSW. We were looking for a place that would allow us to bond as a group, but was still close enough to downtown Austin for us to check out the city. The ~1 hour drive to downtown wasn't that bad (we made it several times), and the house has everything you need for a fun weekend. Ben and Michelle were very communicative throughout the booking process and throughout the weekend. We loved their home and would definitely recommend it.

The perfect escape for a weekend trip to the lake
I booked this place for a surprise engagement party for my fiancé, and to keep the surprise a secret I needed Michelle and Ben to be flexible with things like check-in time, who could check in, etc. Michelle and Ben were great hosts with great communication and reasonable asks of guests.
The location was great, it’s exactly how it looks in the photos only bigger! The whole weekend went smoothly and we all had a blast. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The Best Lake Travis Property
Photos don’t do this property justice! My husband and I rented this property to celebrate our anniversary with 10 friends and the home had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable weekend. From the spacious bedrooms with baths to the game room and stunning lake views/access, I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Michelle and Ben are wonderful hosts and generous people in sharing this beautiful space for us to make memories.

Peace and relaxation.
We had a lot of fun in this home, we made lots of memories. There are lots to do. The views are spectacular, we sat in the balcony and looked at the beautiful scenery. We watched movies in the tv room, the kids played for hours in the game room. Very peaceful and relaxing. The area is beautiful and quiet, we loved it very much. The home is amazing, plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Michelle and Ben for welcoming us into their home. Thank you very much for everything. This property is exceptional. Very well built and finished, and very nicely furnished. The location is great with a fantastic view of the lake and hills. The property owners responded very quickly to any requests or comments made.

Spacious lake view house
This house was amazing, everything that we expected. The bunk bed room was on the first floor separated from the main house on the second floor, so I had to ask one of the adults to stay with the kids downstairs. Also has an elevator but was locked. The view from upstairs balcony was amazing, we got to show our one year old the deer from the balcony . Best part for my 10 & 12 year old was the garage with all the games and pool table. We did get good use out of the paddle boards and kayaks but will bring some jet skis next time!

Great Family Memories
The property is just fantastic and the owners made the experience very easy and professional. Michelle is very responsive. The location is right across from the Lighthouse marina and 10 min boat ride to cliff diving. We even caught bass off the dock! Great experience! thanks for everything!

Fantastic house for friend/family reunion
The house was perfect for a friends + family reunion. The garage area had a bunch of games (ping pong, billiards, etc.) and the views of the lake were outstanding. Having a dock was great - we rented a boat and were able to pick up everyone directly at the house. All the furniture was high quality, the kitchen was fully stocked, there were two grills on the patios, etc. Michelle and Ben were very easy hosts to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Big house with fabulous lake view
We hosted a small family reunion at the Highland Lake Estate home - older and young adults all had a great time! Fishing, boating, billiards, foosball, ping pong, paddeboard, kayak, cards, cooking etc.. Doubt you'll find a better place on Lake Travis.

Perfect place for an annual get together
Our group was 6 long time friends from school on a first annual get together. One local but the rest from all over the country. The house was the perfect place to relax. Catch up. And relax some more. The dock is perfect for hanging out on the water with an incredible view. The boat ramp is just half a mile away and you can put 2 boats And a waverunner there at the property. The kitchen, upstairs patio and living room have fantastic views of the lake. Downstairs is a huge room w games and a bar. Fire pit outside was awesome as well
Overall we had a fantastic time together and the house was a huge part of that. Thanks to the owners! We highly recommend !
