The photos of the property were great but they don’t nearly tell the story. In a lot of ways the property looks bigger than advertised. Great decor gave it a unique personality. The stairs may be a a bit much for some people but they weren’t even a factor to me and I’m not in the greatest of shape. Water pressure and temperature in certain bathrooms might be the only drawback I can think of but I would stay here again because it seems like Rosanna has taken the time to provide everything you would need which shows she cares about the place and will probably fix that. Ada kept the place very clean, was very helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast (if you opt for that). Overall, a great place to stay

Our host Rossana rented out our apartment to someone else before we arrived without letting us know. We had no hot water available for showers. The host was sending maintenance people in to the apartment without notice at all times of the day. Due to the lack of hot water and lack of proper security we ended up moving to a hotel. We have small children and proper services and security is always most important to us. We would recomend avoiding this host and her properties at all cost, not woth the hassles...

Great view of the city , food in the old city was nice

I travel often and very rarely write reviews, but this property deserves an exception. We loved everything about the property and will definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect. Rosanna was so helpful and was a great communicator from arranging rides to our questions about activities. Ada was wonderful as well! Her breakfasts and dinners were so good. The location was perfect. Book this apartment, you will love it!

This is an excellent home in the middle of it all!! The owner Rosanna is so helpful and responsive, from transportation to massages to anything you ask. We had an fantastic time in Cartagena and couldn't wait returning to this home. Highly recommend and Ana is wonderful as well. When I return...def staying here again!

House was absolutely beautiful, our housekeeper was amazing and cooked for us also, she was very attentive. Very easy check in and out process. Great location near shopping and local food. Amazing!

My wife is from Cartagena so we know the city very well. We have stayed in a lot of nice places and this was certainly one of our favorites. The location is perfect and the property is very comfortable and kept spotless by the wonderful housekeeper and cook Ada. She was so pleasant and prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch every day. Cleaning and cooking staff are often available but she was exceptional and deserves 5+stars.

This is such an amazing place! The views are the best in all of Cartagena, and the apartment is magical! Rossana is such a wonderful host, very attentive, answered all of our questions and was very accessible throughout our stay. The place is as just amazing as in pictures, and even so much more. We loved signora Ada, who was so kind to us and our son, and made us daily breakfast. Enjoying a mojito at night while sitting on the balcony taking the sights and sounds of Cartagena in - we can't wait to be back!

My family of five had a wonderful stay last week! The flat is just lovely and in a wonderful location on the edge of the city. The roof deck and small pool were great to relax in after a day of walking around. An easy walk to the marina for departures to the islands. Rosanna and her husband are lovely. She was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, covid testing and even a ride to the airport! We have VRBO'ed several times and this is one of our favorites "Mom, you hit it out of the park". Highly recommend.

From the moment I booked the house Rosanna was extremely helpful, super nice and made sure that everything needed was taken care of. My flight cam in late and her and her husband waited until I arrived to make sure there were no issues. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the photos do not do any justice. Everything you need and could want is walking distance from the house. 10/10! In addition Senora Ana made amazing meals, the house was always spotless, I will deffinitley be staying here again! strongly recommend if you are going to be in Cartagena!

This apartment was perfect for our group of five - clean, comfortable and with incredible views from the three balconies. Rosanna was very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back and would stay here again..

My girlfriend and I rented the apartment for the month of February to escape the cold of the Northeast US. We booked the apartment through Greg Hills and were met by Jorge upon arrival. Several days after our arrival we were notified by Rosanna that the apartment had sold and that Jorge would be tying up loose ends over the next few days. Jorge was replaced by Anna, but unlike Jorge who lived in the apartment with you, Anna arrived each morning and went home at the end of the work day. While we were originally very concerned about the change, it ended up working to our benefit. Jorges room was attached to the kitchen and we felt like we were disturbing him each time we went to fix a snack or meal. Anna arrived each morning to prepare coffee and breakfast. Both she and Jorge are fabulous cooks. The remainder of the day Anna would clean, change linens, etc.. Rosanna and her team were continuously upgrading the amenities while we were there adding new sheets, towels and toiletries. She also upgraded the kitchen with new dishes, air fryer, knives, waffle/panini press, etc. Rosanna also filled in for Jorge by scheduling covid tests, taking us to buy jewelry, scheduling excursions., etc. Rosanna works for a company that owns a hotel and another unit in the building. I believe they may have other properties. They are very experienced. The apartment itself is exactly as the pictures show. It is the lively part of town right next to all the major attractions. The Cathedral, San Pedro Claver Church, the Clock Tower, and port were all within a few minutes walk at most. There are shops, restaurants and street vendors right outside of the front door. The only downside was the new owners were upgrading, painting, deep cleaning while we were there. Some of it was appreciated but some of it was a bit inconvenient. We did not have outside seat cushions for about a week as they were sent off to be cleaned. We asked for the painting to stop on one occasion b/c of the fumes. I have no doubt Rosanna and her team will have the place looking great in short order and most of the interruptions we experienced will end.

I will start by saying I was born and raised in Cartagena, and was looking for a place to stay and gather with family. This place was perfect and I hope to come back next year. First, the feel, ambiance and decor reveal that it belongs to someone who went to Cartagena and fell in love with the city, its people and its culture. Greg's photography is all over the house and it's stunning. The location is unbeatable and New Years in the terrace is amazing with fireworks all over the city. Lastly, Jorge and Billy are amazing! Billy's food is fantastic and Jorge is the most helpful and wonderful human being. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodated every request (I had a long list of things I wanted to eat after not coming to Colombia for two years). He even sent my daughter's sunglasses to fix when they broke without asking. You should book this place fast, you will not regret it. I do want to note there are stairs and it is noisy at night, but so fun to be in the middle of everything. Thank you Greg, Billy and Jorge for a wonderful time.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Close to everything in the walled city and since it’s near the edge, we never got lost finding our way back home at night. Everything was included - sheets, toiletries, towels, pool towels, coffee, water, etc. Also have the option to have meals made for you for a small fee. Jorge was super accommodating and was able to get our covid tests scheduled for us at the house. Would 100% stay here again!!

This was a perfect spot for our group visiting Cartagena— I’d highly recommend. We had breakfast made for us in the morning by the amazing Grace, and then Jorge was there to make sure we had everything we need. The location was perfect… especially since it was close to the port and we did many day trips. You will definitely love your time here!

I stayed at this property in December during the COVID. But it did not matter because it’s wonderful just hanging out at the property. I enjoyed the variety of birds from the pool and drinking beer. Jorge was awesome and became a friend. He will grocery shop for you and he made us breakfast everyday. The location of this property is unbeatable. I highly recommend this property

Our trip to Cartegena was fantastic and this home was the biggest reason why. The master bedroom and bath were beautiful and comfortable with large doors to a balcony ready to let in the morning sun when the shutters opened. The smaller second bedroom was perfect for our 16 year old. We started our days on one of the top floor patios for coffee, Jorge’s amazing breakfast and the sounds of San Pedro Clavel below. After exploring the Old City, we’d return to the jacuzzi and drinks on the other top floor patio until cool breezes and the sunset ushered in plans for dinner at any of the wonderful restaurants within walking distance. We would have enjoyed more cook prepared meals at home, but ran out of days. Fanny was always available for assistance with restaurant recommendations and willing to help set up activities. Jorge who lives on the property constantly surprised us with coffee, fruit, home squeezed lemonade and assistance with drivers or directions as well. We were well taken care of and would absolutely choose this property again. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Cartagena and stayed 5 nights at Greg's apartment and we will definitely be back! Greg was extremely helpful and quick to respond before, during and after our stay. We loved being picked up from the airport with the hired car and meeting Jorge and Fanny at the apartment - both of whom are the sweetest people and super helpful. Jorge is at your beck and call, made our bed every morning, laundered our clothes, changed out the towels and sheets. Fannie was great - she knew all the restaurants in the area and made reservations for us every time we asked her. The apartment is amazing - from the amenities to the views! The 360 degree views from the pool/jacuzzi were beautiful - we sat almost every night in the jacuzzi watching the sunset. The location was perfect in the heart of the San Pedro Claver plaza, restaurants nearby, live music and we got to witness a wedding at the church. If you want to be in the heart of everything this is the place. If you want a super quiet spot, this isn't it, nor is this city for that matter - they never sleep! We highly recommend Greg's place and we will back!

This property is beautiful. The balconies have a beautiful view in all directions. Perfect for a swim in the afternoon or coffee in the morning. Jorge, the gentleman that helps with the property, was so helpful and made our trip so easy and relaxing. It is centrally located. We really enjoyed dinner at San Valentin& La Unica (walled city), Demente (Getsemani), and breakfast and lunch at Cafe de Manana (walled city). The Coconut limonade was one of our favorite refreshing drinks. Boom this place and you won’t regret it.

The location of the house is unbeatable. So easy to come and go, get a quick dip to cool off, take a nap in the AC or have a cocktail on one of the balconies. Jorgé and Billie are both so sweet and made our stay even more memorable, plus Billie’s food is fantastic! .

“We are a family of 5 from Canada and this is our first visit to Cartagena. The house is centrally located inside the wall. It’s a great location and a beautiful home. Greg is responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this VRBO! We are so close to many great bars and restaurants especially Sierpe Cocina Caribe, great seafoods, reasonable prices and wonderful service! We highly recommend! We enjoyed our time but most of all, we appreciated the VIP services from Fanny (the house manager) and Jorge (our butler who lives in the house). They are so good to us, they are very helpful which made our visit enjoyable and worry-free! On our arrival night, Jorge accompanied us to the grocery store to get alcohol and snacks. Fanny is such a beautiful and wonderful person! For example, we wanted to take a boat trip for the day, she took care of all the details and even accompanied us to the dock to ensure we got to where we needed to; on the way back, Jorge was right there to meet us as our boat approached the dock. They certainly made sure we are safe and taken care of. We had a fun day visiting the different islands. We highly recommend! We had breakfast and dinner at the house 2 out of 4-day stay and it was fabulous. Our cook, Billy, did a fantastic job making us Colombian meals. She asked what we wanted and made exactly that and some....we enjoyed our meals immensely. Please ensure you take up her service if you choose to stay here. We highly recommend!! And finally, please visit Colombia and see the wonderful country and it’s beautiful people! We highly recommend!”

This was a wonder place to stay and is perfect for families. No single complaint. The host and the property management team made us feel completely at home. In my opinion, make sure you include the $20 extra for meal prep. Location is also strategically located. Enjoy!!!
