I loved everything about staying at Ambrosea. I stayed in Afrodite room and it was huge, with the most gorgeous view. It was clean and modern and well-equipped. It is the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at, and I have travelled a lot! The breakfast is delicious, and Carmen and her mother are so friendly and helpful. I cannot fault it in any way. Do not hesitate to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ambrosea Amalfi Coast with our toddler. Carmen and her mom were so kind to our son, even made him pancakes every day and spoiling him with lots of attention. The property’s location is amazing, so easy to get to the other towns on the coast and Vietri sul Mare was a pleasant surprise, we absolutely loved it. The room was super clean and lovely decorated and you can see how much care Carmen puts into it. She also does the best cappuccino 🥰

Breakfast could have been more varied, but to be honest looking at the pros, how clean it was and how lovely Carmen is, it wasn’t a big deal for us.

This place is a gem. We spent 3 nights here to explore the Amalfi coast. The room was so cute and the view was so beautiful, I'll never forget to. The location was super convenient. The bus stop is nearby. The train station is 3 min walk from the B&B. There are a couple of rental shops right below and one across where you can rent a motorcycle from. Carmen, who owns and runs the place, is super nice. She gave us a lot of info on how to get around and places to go to. The breakfast was delicious and so homey. I loved everything about this place. I would 100% recommend if you don't mind driving to explore the towns.

Exceptional location and views. Pretty breathtaking in many ways. Thoughtfully and stylishly appointed room with incredible details, touches and foresight. Careful attention clearly paid to choice of furniture, materials, harmony, accessories. Breakfast prepared and served with heart, class and elegance. The host has incredible sense of style and it shows in every detail

Truly hard to think of 1 single thing to improve. I am extremely picky & critical and fault-finnding in any hotel or B&B or rental (in any country!) and this level of attention to detail is something I never encounter

Hostess was very nice and helped with transportation and recommended good restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and was put out beautifully. View over the city to the see was great. Rooms were large and clean. Vietri is pretty and authentic city and it was easy to take a boat trips to different cities along Amalfi coast.

Absolutely immaculate room, bed extremely comfortable, and beautiful view from the room. We were on a fairly busy road, but it was quiet in the room. The hostess was friendly and helpful, breakfast each morning was fruit, pastries, yogurts, cereals, juice and fresh coffee. We had these lovely little warm pastries filled with apple that were delicious! There was a big fridge in the dining area guests can use for storing food/water. Location is excellent, literally around the corner from the train station, and across the road from a fab bar called Russo, great for a nightcap. Was at the start of the busy little main streets with shops and restaurants. About a 15minute walk downhill to the ferry terminal, which we used to explore other towns along the coast. Couldn’t recommend this place enough (and I’m really fussy!) will definitely stay here again if we come back.

The overhead shower wasn’t very powerful, but it had the smaller handheld shower head too, so I just used that and it was brilliant.

Spacious rooms, the beautiful sea view from our window, modern and tasteful interior decoration, very clean, wonderful breakfasts, central location next to the bus stop and stores. The host Carmen is very friendly and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure staying there and we would absolutely recommend it.

Because of its central location, we got traffic noise when we opened the windows. But it was not a major inconvenience.

Great views from the room, really modern and staff were lovely. Will be back for sure.

Host Carmen gave us a very good breakfast with delicious self made torta Caprese. Fried eggs were made like a real chef would do it! The best breakfast we had in Italy. She is also very helpful. The rooms are spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated and everything you need is available. Location is perfect: near the center and the train station. Thank you Carmen for the recipe of the torta Caprese!

We had a fantastic stay at Ambrosea, which is a small B&B situated near the top of Vietri sul Mare. We came by car on a busy holiday time in the city (ascension) and were a bit overwhelmed, but the proprietress Carmen jumped in the car with us to help us find street parking, which would have been impossible without her! The room was amazing: large, tastefully decorated, beautiful view, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was exceptional for Italy with fresh fruit, cooked eggs etc. And Carmen was a fantastic hostess, helping with all manner of questions and advice. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful elegantly furnished rooms decorated with the absolutely stunning paintings from Carmen, who as well as her mother went out of her way to do everything for a comfortable stay. Carmen even secured parking on the street to save me garage fees.

The breakfast was absolutely stunning. The best we had in Italy. The room was lovely. Such a good taste in decoration and style. And the view of the sea was beautiful.

The attention to details really stood out, apartments were clean and cool, staff was really helpful and answered every question we had. Lovely breakfast and killer pancakes!! Recommend it to everyone 100%
