The condo was awesome. The owner even contacted me personally and gave me valuable suggestions about restaurants and activities. His condo was well stocked with non perishable items including beach chairs, umbrella, children toys. Everything was so clean. The view from the balcony was magical! The resort was gorgeous. The pool and access to beach were great. The restaurant on the property was delicious and drinks were awesome. I can’t say enough about this property and owner!!

An amazing trip/experience had by all. On May 10th from 8:55 am to 10am a momma whale and calf breached. We were able to witness this very late an unexpected experience right from the amazing view on the lanai! Cabana days are a must! Hands down one of the most exciting, relaxing, and breath taking vacations we have been on! I have never seen such a fully stocked, and immaculate VRBO, Bruno goes all out!

Simply amazing! Beautiful condo, wonderful resort and great location! Bruno was beyond great about communicating, even when he was on vacation. The condo had everything we needed and more. It was so clean and neat. Better than the pictures. I will be back & I will stay here again! We swam with turtles right down the beach from our condo. We also got to see whales and dolphins from the lani!! The pools were perfect. Having Dukes on the property and a food truck park nearby was very handy. What a great find!!! Incredible experience for our family (kids 12 & 9). Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The lanai was great for enjoying morning coffee and an evening sunset. Bruno is a great host and has excellent communication. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfect location for our family - kids 12, 14, 16. The views from the balcony are amazing. Room is so close to the pools and the beach. Underground parking right next to the elevator up to our room. Bruno was an amazing host throughout the process and make sure to contact Candice, his on-island concierge contact, for any of your excursion needs. Definitely 5 stars and would go back again.

We can't stop talking about our incredible stay in Bruce's condo at Honua Kai. The condo was absolutely spotless and perfectly accommodated our family of four (two small children). There was plenty of kitchen items for us to use, and the beach closet had everything we needed for all of us for a day at the beach. They even had aloe Vera and bug spray (even though we did not encounter a single bug anywhere). We were also very impressed with the Honua Kai. The resort was lovely and perfectly suited for children. We were there during what might be considered peak time (spring break) and we never had to fight for pool chairs. The onsite restaurant saved us many times for last minute to go meals (Dukes is delicious) and we'd end up spreading out on the lawn and letting the kids play while we ate dinner, enjoying the live music and the sunset. Our little girl still naps so one of us would stay with her in the condo, only we'd be on the patio, sipping a mai tai and watching for whales (which we saw plenty of!). We are already looking to return next year!

We absolutely loved our stay in Bruno’s condo. The location within the resort is fantastic - super close to the very fast elevator, so you can be at the pool, beach or Duke’s within a couple of minutes. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. We sat and had coffee or drinks out there every day. Bruno is extremely helpful and allowed us a late checkout since it worked with the next reservation. Do not hesitate to book. We loved it!

Wonderful accommodation and location. We saw lots of whales from our lanai. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The owners were always available with any questions or concerns we may have. I would highly recommend this condo.

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Honua Kai. It was myself, my husband, and our 3 teenagers. We loved the location, the view, the pools, and the beach access.

Stunning views and gorgeous grounds! The unit was fully stocked with anything you’ll need during your stay. Bruno is an amazing host. He personally called after we booked and kept in contact right up till we arrived. Would highly recommend staying with Bruno, you won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for the best view for a 2bed 2bath at Honua Kai, it might be hard to beat this one. A view of all three pools and close to the ocean. The nearby elevator takes you down right to the pool. Our family loved it. We visited soon after the area opened back up. Bruno kept us up to date on everything in advance to let us know we could still visit the island. After spending 7 nights there we felt the love of all the locals who were glad to see tourists coming back. We took a snorkel boat to Molokini Crater, got surfing lessons, did a dinner cruise, got great food and beverages at Dukes and other establishments, and the main theme was they were all so glad to get back to some normalcy. The condo is well equipped with everything you need. Beds were super comfortable. TV in living room and bedrooms were the perfect size and also newer models. boogie boards and beach chairs provided. Honua Kai is the only resort we will stay at in Maui. Its the best. This condo and the owners will make you so happy you booked with them. Cant wait to come back!

Really beautiful condo and resort. Ocean and island views plus great view of the resort. Very spacious and clean condo perfect for our family with kids 20, 17 and 13. Bruno and Monty were great. As soon as I booked my stay about 9 months ago, I received a phone call from Bruno Tonin - the property owner. He was very communicative and was warm and hospitable. He sent us a wealth of information - recommendations of things to do and see to make our first visit to Maui amazing. We were in touch on several occasions prior. The condo is well-cared for, immaculately clean, and well stocked. The view of the ocean and pool from the condo is spectacular. We took many of Bruno’s suggestions and especially enjoyed the sunset cruise and Old Lahaina Luau. Bruno’s excellent communication, hospitality and attention to detail made this a perfect vacation in paradise. We stayed here with my sister and her husband and appreciated the two king beds and bathrooms. Towels, paper products, beach chairs, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent was all provided. Monty was our contact on Maui and he was also in touch with us. The service from both Bruno and Monty was exceptional. Mahalo!

My family of six had the most amazing time in Maui!! The condo was more than fully equipped with everything you need. The view and location to everything was perfect!! The beds were amazing best sleep ever!! We are looking forward to booking this in the near future.

It starts with the host, then the lanai and view and just keeps going. First class furnishings, comfortable beds, including sofa bed, my daughter and granddaughter slept on it all week. Things are stocked you do not expect, paper towels, baggies, etc. lots of beach chairs. The place was immaculate and nothing needed upgraded or repaired. Hosts are available if needed. Best stay ever; can’t wait to return. Book it you will not be disappointed, worth every penny and then some.

The unit was clean and has gorgeous view. We loved that both bedrooms had king beds and there was a sleeper sofa. It was so helpful that there were plenty of paper towels, laundry detergent, liquid handsoap (not the bars!), baggies, spices, etc. The owner went out of his way to be accommodating and polite. We loved the complex too with a waterslide, the waterfall pool was heated, multiple hot tubs. Was glad the owner recommended water shoes because tons of rocks in the ocean. Onsite Dukes restaurant was good food and amazing views.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Honua Kai Resort through VRBO with my family, including our 8-month-old baby. I must say, it was an absolute dream vacation, and we are already planning to return. From the owner's helpfulness during the booking process to their responsiveness throughout our stay, the level of service provided was outstanding. We spent countless hours on the balcony, mesmerized by the beauty of the sparkling waves and the soothing sounds of the ocean. It created the perfect backdrop for quality family time and relaxation. The location of the property was another highlight of our stay. We loved the condo. The hosts have the place fully stocked with everything from basic kitchen supplies to toiletries to items for the beach. They have a great handbook on what to do on Maui. Would definitely stay there a gain.

We loved our stay at the Tonin’s condo. The accommodations were exceptional and the view was amazing!! There was more than enough room for our family of 4 (all adults), and the complex is very well maintained and safe. Pools and beach at resort were beautiful! We saw turtles and whales right off the beach at the complex! Restaurant on property was good for breakfast and takeout dinner (make reservations early for dinner). Condo has Keurig and coffee maker but and we especially enjoyed coffee bar downstairs! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!

Everything about this unit is incredible! It’s clean, fully-stocked with everything you may need and more, beautiful decor/artwork, and the ocean view is stunning. Communication with the owner and property manager was extremely prompt and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would be thrilled to stay here again.

We just spent a week at Bruno's condo and cannot say enough about how lovely, clean and well-stocked it was. I had read the other reviews and similar to those, Bruno called me as soon as we reserved and shared details on the unit and tips for our trip and during our stay was very prompt in responding to texts. While in Hawaii, we also texted with Monty the property manager who was also super responsive. In terms of supplies, we stayed for a week and never had to get cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc. There was plenty to last us the week, which was incredibly convenient. The unit itself is beautiful and spacious with great views and easy access to the beach, pools and amenities of the resort. And, we were lucky enough to see a humpback whale and calf breaching out of the water while eating dinner one night, which was so special. Thank you Bruno for the hospitality - it was such a special trip with great memories for us all!

The condo and resort were absolutely perfect for our family or 4. Communication from Bruno and Monty was great. The condo is immaculate, has incredible view and included everything to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We had the most wonderful time at the property with our family of 5. Watched whales from the lanai, steps away from the pool, beach, great food and sunshine. The check in and check out was the smoothest I have ever experienced! We loved the convenient under ground parking garage for when we zipped around the island for family fun. We would come back for sure, 10/10.

We had a short stay at this property and would defiantly come back. Owner was very helpful and reached out numerous times prior to our visit. The only issue we encountered was not related to owner but VRBO app login. We reached out to the local manager and he quickly responded and helped us resolve.

Aloha - My family of 4 stayed at this amazing condo Feb 12th - 23rd 2023! We can’t speak highly enough about the unit and resort. My kids ages 7 and 8 went with us and it was the perfect place for us! My boys loved sharing a room and all the beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus and we were able to do laundry as needed. The beautiful lanai was breath taking! We saw TONS of whales breaching and the tikis around the resort at night were a beautiful sight. The lanai overlooks the pool which my kids loved. The condo itself was immaculate with all the bells and whistles. It was fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towel, laundry detergent ect… My 7 yr old son is physically handicap (uses a walker to get around) and the condo was so convenient for him. The room is right by the elevator which is a major bonus for us. The bathroom even had a stool for him to stand up on and brush his teeth. My boys loved the boogie boards in the closet that you could take to the beach. Bruno was in touch from the moment we arrived. He was always accessible and i appreciated that so much!! He even called me directly when we originally booked the trip (10 months) prior to the trip. Great condo, great resort and great host!! We can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for helping my family make the BEST memories in Maui!

We had a magical time at this condo! Whale watching from the balcony every morning was a highlight. Beds we’re comfortable and everything was well stocked. We had excellent communication with the owners about what to expect. The resort was beautiful and we enjoyed the music at night from the restaurant below. Overall this property set a very high bar for any future travels to Maui, we’d definitely stay again.

Amazing Unit, Great Property but even better customer service. From initial booking to final checkout everything about Bruno and his customer service was top notch. I am always nervous renting from individuals vs. a company but Bruno eased my mind from initial booking. He called personally and wanted to check in even though it was ten months before our trip. He shared his love for Maui and provided all sorts of useful information for booking our vacation, not just the condo. He was always available via text and had a point person on the island in case anything went wrong. The unit was stocked to the nines with everything you would need. The views were spectacular for sunsets and whale watching. Five stars!!

Ahhh, where to begin?! Just got back from a beautiful 7 night stay at Brunos, and WOW! Let me be clear, this isn’t your typical VRBO. This is like staying at your friends home, fully stocked, CLEAN, quality lines, soaps, cleaners, etc. No short cuts were taken, at all! The view was awesome. In the morning we would listen to the relaxing sound of the waves, at night we would enjoy the tiki torch lights and people watch. We had our 1 year old with us, and we were fine with having her crawl as the place was that clean. There was nothing we could have asked for, other than to stay another week! LOL. If you choose Brunos, know that you are not booking a basic VRBO, this is luxury, and you will be very well taken care of. I will definitely be back, and I thank Bruno for sharing his beautiful home with us.

Beautiful property, wonderful views, centrally located, as there are many activities in the area. The property had everything a family needs to enjoy themselves in and out of the property. The check in was a snap and the bellman were great helping get our groceries and luggage to our room. Parking was easy and convenient. The condo was clean and comfortable and was fully stocked with everything one would need. The owner were wonderful and attentive to our needs prior to arrival and ongoing once there. Will book again, just great to work with.
