Beautiful property!! Management team was fantastic addressed the ice maker repairs quickly. They even brought in bags of ice for us.

The property was great, well kept and clean. Beach access was perfect! Some things like fixtures and hardware seem a bit dated but the furnishings were clean and in good shape. The door lock was a disaster! The code we were provided did not open the door, which was extremely frustrating at 10:30 pm after a long travel day. But management returned my call and we were in the condo within an hour of arrival. However, the lock continued to be an issue all weekend but I was told the lock is being replaced. Otherwise a great place to stay!

It’s always a long drive but so worth it! This was our first time staying at Spanish Key and have stayed at others in the area. This was by far the best for amenities! We spent a lot of time in both pools and loved the easy access to the beach. The rooms are nice and spacious. And the view was priceless!

Had an awesome time. Everything was immaculate and freshly maintained. Loved location and low crowd level. I’ve been coming to OB for years. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

We were moved to this property 2 days before we were to leave because our other rental had water damage so we did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised!
The place is beautiful and clean and felt very safe there. My only negative is that we were farther down the strip than we wanted to be but we would definitely recommend this unit!

Spanish Key 502
The condo was roomy and nice but the patio door needs work. It was very hard to open and close. One of the twin beds kept breaking. We fixed it twice. Although we should have called management for help. It was obvious it had been worked on multiple times. Other than that it was a wonderful place. Nice decor. Management was great during booking and check in.

Needs updating and a little tlc.. overall nice place
Sliding glass door handle was missing for the balcony.. no light fixture in one of the guest baths and trim missing is master closet.. this unit needs the owners attention ASAP

Great Place to Stay
Beach access and condo were Great!! Parking is available on both sides of the building, but all the parking was very tight and difficult to maneuver for a large SUV. There is more parking available across the street, but it is very busy. Location is closer to Orange Beach, so we didn't have to drive in to Pensacola, which was Great!

Nice place but the sliding door going onto the deck needs to be replaced. Handle is broken and metal pieces and screws might cut someone.

Good overall
When we arrived our room wasn’t completely ready and some things were malfunctioning but they fixed things right away. The staff was super nice even the property workers. I would definitely recommend it!

Ice maker wasn’t working
Comfortable rental. Enjoyed our stay. No major issues, disappointed the ice maker didn’t work but we just bought bags of ice. Would rent here again.

Beach is beautiful/Condo needs work!
The access to the beach was wonderful. The beach was very clean. The condo had several issues. Upon checking in the door handle on the sliding glass door was busted off and there was no way of getting to the patio. I had to call and put in a maintenance ticket. The handle maintenance installed fell off the next day. The pictures that were supposed to be hanging were on the ground. The icemaker did not work. I had to call maintenance AGAIN (this is supposed to be vacation) and they came out but did not fix the issue. We went through several bags of ice that we had to buy. Many of the lights throughout were broken. Overall good location but I would not stay at this place again. Nothing is maintained. There are a lot of other options to choose from.

The 5th Floor Unit
The Unit shows well in the pictures although there are maintenance items that need attention and the owner's housekeeping folks need to do a deep clean of the unit in all areas, especially the floors. The Management Company responded well and took care of most of the Items. The Unit has a lot of potential and the property is nice and everything was working in the amenity areas..

Tired
Property seemed tired. Called maintenance for a list of issues:
1.)broken chair and broken bar stool
2.) master bedroom fan very loud and screeches
3.) water tank make loud noises heard throughout the unit
4.) corner of wall in front foyer dented/scratched
5.) caulking strip around master bathroom tub peeling off and very dirty.
6.) mold on shower glass in bathroom shower door in twin bed bedroom

Evacuation Retreat
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this clean condo. The location was convenient to restaurants and groceries. We walked to ice cream parlors and beach bars. We would stay again.

Great location and view!
Overall it was a great stay. The glass tables and decor were not the best for small children. The queen bed was very squeaky. There was a small amount of sand in everyone's sheets. However, the unit is nicely updated and the empty lot next door provides a wonderful view and room to spread out. Will definitely consider staying here again!

Loved this Beautiful condo! It was roomie and perfect for vacation! It was beautifully decorated as well. The queen size bed was squeaky would be our only complaint. Love the location of this condo being right by Flora-Bama but not in the busiest part of town. We were there during the beginning of quarantine. The beaches were not crowded. The staff kept the main floor very clean and were constantly cleaning. Wish we could have stayed during this whole Covid 19 quarantine mess. We hope we can book this exact condo when we go back. Thank you!

Had fun but the place needed attention.
The property is in need of attention. Many small things, but the biggest is that the main sliding door didn't have a handle and to open it, it took both of our husbands to open it. Small but issues are the caulking in two bathrooms was moldy , dinning room floor had some candy stuck to it and several more. We call Pricket company by and gave them a list of other small items.

Week with friends
Finding and accessing the property was easy. The link to open the door was helpful although it seemed to be backward. It is so close to the white sandy beaches. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, indoor pool and sauna. The location was perfect for us. The condo was just as we expected minus two aspects....
First the main sliding glass door to the balcony was missing its hardware to lock and unlock the door. We could open it but it seemed to weight two tons. It took two people to open and close it. So we used the master bedroom sliding door to access the balcony.
Second was the queen bed in one bedroom. It was wobbly and squeaky.
That being said it is a great location. Close the The Floribama lounge. Midway between Gulf Shore and Pensacola where there are plenty of restaurants and activities. I am sure the property manager will fix the door and bed once they know they are in need of repair. We would stay there again and just might in the near future. We recommend staying there.

Family Fun!
This is our third year to come to the Perdido Key area for our family vacation. My adult children have enjoyed staying at Spanish Key the best and my granddaughter loved the pool and the beach. The location is perfect and the security of the gated condo is fantastic. We will be returning.

Could use some updates:
Guest bedroom(queen bed)- squeaked so badly, we stopped using that bed. Both guest bathrooms - sliding glass doors were difficult to open/close. Two bathroom drains- missing pieces. Dining room chairs were all vinyl/leather and were peeling- all 6 chairs.

Beautiful condo, beautiful property. Great location. Gated entrance so we always felt safe. Only 8 floors high so no long lines waiting in elevators

Excellent Unit and Location
We've stayed at half a dozen places along this strip of beach, and this was possibly the best. Thanks to the vacant lot to the east of Spanish Key, the beach was wonderfully uncrowded. Spanish Key also offers indoor and outdoor pools, and all pools were clean and in good condition. There's also a reasonable fitness room with good equipment. Our room, 502, is a 3 bedroom unit that held our 8 people quite well.
Other pros and cons: On our visit (June 2019), the kitchen faucet no longer swivels, so you can turn it from sink to sink. It is, however, one where the handle pulls out, so you can still run water in each sink. Also, there's no teflon pan. If you want one of those, you'll need to bring it. We bought one for $6. Sorry, we didn't leave it! ;-)
We also needed to buy toilet paper while we were there. Didn't leave any of that, either! The unit was very clean, and the furniture was all in good shape. The mattress on the sleeper sofa is pretty thin, if you plan to use it.
The jacuzzi tub is a nice feature. Be aware that the cover to the button will pop off when you turn on the tub. It goes back on easily. The tub still worked great.
The view of the gulf from the patio can't be beat!
There's a liquor store, night club, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We took advantage of all of those, and didn't drive much. Spanish Key is in a really good location. Parking lot is a little tight, but we always found a spot.
Property is currently managed by Prickett Properties. Didn't have much interaction with them, which is a good sign! But I did call them once and emailed them once when we checked out. Communication was friendly and prompt, so no issues there.
Overall, 5-star rating across the board from us!

Needs a new blender the one on the condo leaked really bad. Other then that the place was awesome. I have rented condos in Spanish key for many years and will continue to come back.

Great value, beautiful view.
I was so happy to find this nice place to stay in Perdido Key. So many of the newer buildings only have enormous units for huge families (or multiple families) — and at great cost. This unit was perfect for us, right on the beach and very affordable. I will definitely return.

Our Hurricane Michael Adventure
We had a wonderful week in this beautiful condo from October 7-14th. Yup, the week of hurricane Michael. Fortunately, it was just a glancing blow but all but 10 of the units evacuated. We decided to stay it out and were so glad that we did. The stormy sky and sea were truly wondrous. We stocked up on matches, candles, flashlights, water, and non perishable food and left them all in the unit for the next guests. The unit was great although one of the two elevators was out of order during our entire stay. Because so many people left it did not inconvenience us a bit. If we ever come back to Perdido Key, we will definitely stay with you.

Nice stay, great view could be cleaner
We had a great time, condo is as pictured. Upon arrival our bare feet turned black (not from sand but dirt and hairballs). Found the broom but no dustpan. Footprints going up the outside of the master window (all windows need washing), but it's such a beautiful view so no biggie. Could use a bar or hook for handtowels in master. Beds were all comfy. All in all I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
