What a wonderful weekend at a fantastic house! It had everything we needed and more! The basement was our favorite hangout spot with the ping pong and pool tables. The house is about 2 minutes from food, breweries, and window shopping. It was perfect!

Loved the space in this house! It was nice and clean when we arrived, There was room to spread out. The pool and ping pong tables were nice quality and level (you might want to bring your own paddles as the ones at the house are just plastic)
The house is so convenient to Chimney Rock and sits on the Broad River, but you feel secluded.
The owners were very accessible and responsive when we needed to reach out during our stay.
The Only thing I would suggest is to screen shot the gate code prior to arriving because there is not much signal at the gate.

This is a wonderful property less than a 1/2 mile or so from downtown Chimney Rock. We spent a few hours at chimney Wright and it was fantastic. The views and spaces at this property are as good as any I've ever had.

Great location right near the town of Chimney Rock, but hidden behind trees on the banks of the Broad River. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds were very comfortable. Very clean and lots of extra linens and blankets. Communications with company was easy - quick replies.
While it is a beautiful mountain retreat, I wouldn't call it super cozy. Very little in decor, pillows, nothing hanging on the walls, just lacking general coziness. Maybe the owners are working on that! There are no chairs in the game room.
The drawbacks are minor - we loved our stay and would certainly consider it again for a big group.

This house was perfect for our group to come to and relax! The house was spacious, so it was great for a group of 7 of us to be able to hang out and have room without being crammed in a tiny living room. We loved spending time on the deck where we could hear the stream below. There were houses around and it was very close to downtown, but it still felt like we were in a secluded spot because of all the greenery around. We loved it and I will definitely be back!!

A gem in the NC Mountains
A perfect spot for our family gathering. Lots of room to spread out, well equipped kitchen; amazing deck right on the Broad River - perfect spot for morning coffee and evening wine; easy walk to chimney rock and lake lure. Loved it, would definitely recommend.

We had a perfect stay at Mohicans Landing. Our family, including 6 kids, had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the time away from home. I do not have a single complaint about this property. Amazing space
The listing is accurate. We had a great time. The very well stocked kitchen made group meals easy and fun. We had several children in this house and the extra space (giant main open floor plan and loft area) kept them occupied while the adults could relax in other areas while keeping an eye on them. I could sing their praises more, but just read the listing. We rented three houses for an extended family reunion and this was the nicest one of all.

We loved our stay at Mohican's Landing. The views were beautiful and the house was spacious and perfect. What we really appreciate is the well-appointed kitchen. They provided high end supplies and had every thing we could possibly need. The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and had nice linens. We look forward to returning!

Outstanding House with Lots of Spacious Room and Great Location
This house is truly amazing. I would highly recommend it. We had 120 people in town for a local wedding. Our house was by far the most amazing home of the many we visited where relatives stayed. The house was spotlessly clean, very upscale new furnishings, expensive area rugs, beautiful hardwood floors, SS appliances in perfect condition, washer and dryer state of art. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you can think of as far as appliances and kitchen gadgets and utensils. We all noticed the crate and barrel plates were top quality. Dishes and silverware were supplied for 20, which meant we only needed to run the dishwasher once per day instead of between every meal. Nothing was spared as far as 5 star quality. Linens and towels outstanding. Beds very comfortable. The sound of the river rushing below when you open the french doors to the two decks and the covered porch was so soothing. Loved sitting in one of 4 rockers on the back deck drinking coffee and watching the river early in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The downside for my husband was the poor reception of satellite due to storms not giving him all his usual channels. For me, that was a bonus that he did not watch much TV! Note to Owner is that 1 ping pong paddle was missing although we were not looking to play. The only concern we had was over the bear that kept getting into the outside trash cans. He came by nightly, several times per night a few of the 10 nights we were there. He ran away each time we opened the door a crack and called out, but always returned. We bagged everything and used the supplied chains on the large rolling heavy duty cans, but he managed to put them on their sides and pull things out through the little opening he could create. We had to clean up around the trash cans each day, but after a few days we got smarter than the bear and cross chained the cans so all four trash were together in a square instead of single in a row. This kept him out the last few nights of our rental! We reset the cans in a row just prior to our departure so I am unsure what happened after our departure. Don't let the trash story scare you from this home. It was not scary, just a nuisance. This home is everything you will hope for and an amazing property. We highly recommend this home!

The house is absolutely wonderful and the surrounding views and waterfalls/river are stunning! The photos are great but honestly don't even do it justice. The fact that the house is so close to Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure was also fantastic. Loved everything about it! We will definitely consider staying here again and maybe even make it an annual trip.

Proximity to Chimney Rock State Park was very nice. And the village of Chimney Rock is a 10-minute walk from the house. All in all we enjoyed it very much

House was gorgeous...how could anyone not feel like Royalty😁.
Actually got some snow ...which only doubled the homey ambience. There was something for everyone....game room , movie room, fire place sitting area....dining and breakfast areas, spacious bedrooms and fabulous bathrooms, great kitchen, several private outdoor sitting areas with grilling, and of course a private study for work for the party pooper (who is likely paying the bill)😎.
